Very nice and calm place

Nice spaceous appartment, great swimming pool, good location close to local shop and a sandy beach, we stayed in June so we were the only guests for a week which was great. We would love to come back there..

Everything was great

Everything was great, it was easy to get to the villa with the instructions provided by the host. The apartment was clean and it was cleaned once during our stay. The lady was really helpful and friendly. We were happy with the clean pool and the beautiful garden. Definitely would recommend!

Frangis Appeal

If you're looking for an authentic Greek experience away from the ravages of tourism, then this is the place for you. The stunning location set in beautiful gardens amidst olive and lemon trees with the mountain's as your view offer absolute peace and tranquillity. The apartment was immaculate, spacious and well presented, equipped with everything you could want, even ample coat hangers!! The pool is maintained daily by Frangis as too are the gardens and the family are so warm and welcoming it really does make it hard to leave this place. Frangis even has his own little bar on site if you fancy pre dinner drinks or an ice cold beer in the heat of the day. I can't recommend this place enough and would return in a heart beat. An added bonus is the best white sandy beach just 700 metres from the apartment .

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir (52,48,12 und 9 Jahre) haben in der Unterkunft eine sehr angenehme Zeit verbracht. Das Appartement ist zwar schlicht, aber sehr sauber und total in Ordnung. Der Pool ist absolut okay und wird gewartet bzw. gereinigt. Wlan klappt am besten auf dem Balkon. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Top! Nebenan hat es den sehr gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt Lola (zu Fuß 5 Minuten, morgens ab 8.30 Uhr gibt es da frisches Brot und frische Brötchen), daneben den unglaublich guten und günstigen Imbiss Bobos (Souvlaki, Gyros und DAS Club-Sandwich schlechthin) - und einen sehr netten Pferdehof, der Ausritte anbietet (auch ins Meer - ja, ins Meer!) (1 Minute entfernt). Einen Mietwagen braucht hier auf Korfu meiner Ansicht nach kein Mensch. Es fahren die Green Busses, die auch eine sehr gute Homepage mit Strecken und Fahrzeiten haben. In Perithia (10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt) ist gegenüber vom großen Eiscafé (Gelateria) auch die Bushaltestelle nach Korfu City und Kassiopi oder in den Norden nach Acharavi und Roda. Da hängt auch die Timetable, also der Fahrplanaushang. (Ein Tipp: In Kassiopi ist etwas mehr los und man kann da fantastisch schnorcheln und sich auf Felsen oder an einem etwas volleren Strand aufhalten). Wer selbst kocht und mal einen Wocheneinkauf machen möchte, findet in Kassiopi auch einen größeren günstigeren Supermarkt direkt an der Bushaltestelle. Sehr gut essen gehen kann man in Perithia bei Harry. Ist auch nicht teuer. Na, wenn das mal keine ausführliche Bewertung samt wertvoller Tipps für Urlauber ist :) Aber ich hab sie mit bestem Wissen und Gewissen geschrieben.

Unser Ansprüche unzureichend

Die Wohnung ist sehr einfach gehalten, Balkon ist sehr klein, schwierig zu dritt draußen zu sitzen, Matratzen sind sehr hart, Küche und Badezimmer sind aus dem 80er Jahre. Die Hauptstraße ist um die 200 Meter von dem Haus entfernt, und da das Haus in den Bergen liegt, hörte man die ganze Nacht knatternde Motorräder, ATVs und Autos. Wir sind Nichtraucher und es war sehr störend, wenn die Nachbarn die ganze Nacht auf dem Balkon geraucht haben. Der Pool war nur von 8-20 auf. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht für etwas anspruchsvolle Urlauber empfehlen.

Sauberes Appartement in toller Anlage Nächster Sandstrand 15 Minuten zu Fuß Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit 10 Minuten zu Fuß Abends kann man in der Anlage in der kleinen Taverne der Gastgeber etwas trinken Alles top!

Little retreat

The apartments are in a very peaceful village in the north of Corfu so if you are looking for a no frills holiday away from it all this is your ideal base. We didn't have a car but I would recommend one as you are limited otherwise and the taxi service is patchy at best.

A comfortable apartment in rural setting close to a lovely beach

The two bed apartment was spacious and everything you need was supplied. The furniture was basic but adequate and the apartment overlooks a lovely swimming pool. The pool is not suitable for youg children being extremely deep, even at the shallow end. At night all sorts of animal noises are heard including dogs barking for ages, scope owls that make a regular beep noise like an alarm all through the night and howls from cats or animals that sound like them. This disturbed us but may not bother other people. The beach is a 15 minute walk and one of the best we found with golden sand and water gradually getting deeper if you walked out for a while. We found Corfu restaurants to be extremely expensive, especially the ones on the coast. Also rubbish is piling up everywhere because the bins havent been emptied for weeks due to a strike, this really spoils the countryside.

We had a brilliant holiday and would love to go back.

I had a wonderful time at Frangis Apartments with my family. It's very peaceful, beautiful surroundings, all the amenities we needed. The children loved the swimming pool and sitting out on the balcony early in the morning watching bats and owls flying around. The beach at Agios Spyridon is lovely too. We had a brilliant holiday and would love to go back.

nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce lieu L'appartement est fonctionnel, meme si un peu impersonnel, et très propre. Les propriétaires sont gentils et très discrets. La piscine est aussi très agréable. Nous regrettons juste qu'il manquait des moustiquaires aux fenêtres, mais cela n'a rien entaché à ce séjour très agréable

Entspannter Urlaub

Als erstes möchte ich die Vermieter erwähnen,die das Objekt mit viel Liebe pflegen,sie waren immer sehr herzlich zu uns und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Nicht weit weg gibt es einen kleinen Strand mit Restaurant und Minimarket.Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner und entspannter Urlaub.

A lovely simple apartment with great beaches

A lovely simple apartment with great beaches nearby and a good spot to set up ‘base camp’ for a family holiday. The hosts and guests were all charming and unobtrusive. The pool was very clean and a welcome relief from the hot Corfu sun.
