Family weekend away

The caravan had a lovely position near a lake, close to the beach and was very spacious. It was clean and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this for a family weekend aaway near Southwold

Nice place

The property was very cold on arrival but the heating soon warmed it up. It was exactly as described. Nice location. No complaints.

Great location

Three generations and we found the kitchen and lounge area spacious. Fortunately we could use the 3rd bedroom as a walk in wardrobe/suitcase storage space otherwise the bedrooms would have been very difficult. Beds extremely comfortable in both bedrooms. Very unfortunate about noisy seagulls all the time but especially at 5am!!. Nature will be nature :)

Holiday

The caravan was smelly, and very tied the carpets were ripped and the panel in the kitchen ceiling is coming down. Mattress in bedroom springs coming through so had bad nights sleep.

Clean and cost effective

The first time we've ever stayed in a static caravan; the site is well kept and maintained and the service staff efficient, friendly and helpful. The caravan itself was clean and well equipped. We were glad it was just the two of us, it may be 6-berth but would be a very tight squeeze for 6 adults, I'm sure it's typical of that sort of accommodation but the sleeping space is Sylvanian sized, so tiny. I was worried that staying in the winter (December) it would be freezing but the central heating warmed up quickly and stayed that way. No complaints, just observations.

Initially I was concerned as the property was quite old and had a few issues, ie rusty radiator, broken towel rail, fraying carpet, holes in the walls and a radiator that had written on it do not use? I thought the fire was not working but it was just the ignition not working once I got matches it was ok. But overall the property was clean and I was blessed with good weather and spent time on the outside deck. Also has issues with no gas to the caravan but this was sorted with a phone call who was very helpful. Don't think I would stay again

Mobile home

Although mobile was clean and adequately equipped it wasn't in a particularly good spot on the campsite. The main pub/restaurant seating was directly behind the mobile. Although booked in for 3 nights we only stayed 2 . We had no hot water on the 2nd night and appeared to have run out of gas so unable yo cook our meal. Consequently unable to shower following day and although we contacted you and left a message noone replied ?? Very poor service

Enjoyable short stay

We had a last minute short stay with our dogs - knowing the weather wasn’t going to be great but needing a change of surroundings after a long summer at home. Our needs were simple, just somewhere clean and comfortable to stay with nearby beach walks. The caravan was generous accommodation for us and has all you need, it’s warm and has all the creature comforts of a typical home. We had a small maintenance issue which once reported was very promptly attended to. Overall I’d have to say we were impressed and would go back. We would book an oversized caravan again as it makes like much easier with clothes storage etc. You’d need to be more organised than us to fill it to capacity.

A very pleasant stay. The property hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived but this was rectified very quickly.
