This property's fantastic location means you can walk the entire way to the beach across beautiful open fields and stay off the roads! The golden sand on Wells beach stretches for mile upon mile when the tide is out and is considered one of the best beaches in Norfolk!

If you walk along the beach to Holkham, you’ll come to the beach Gwyneth Paltrow walked across in the closing scenes of ‘Shakespeare in love’!

The town is an unspoiled seaside destination waiting to be discovered. Wells is home to a range of fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafes and a host of unique independent outlets. Younger children might enjoy the indoor play area ‘Play land’ and the newly opened Wells Maltings holds craft events, cinema films, live music and events suitable for all.

Carnival week is also not to be missed, usually at the end of July / beginning of August, it includes a raft race, tug of war, duck race, sandcastle and sculpture competition, carnival parade and live music events throughout the week. The carnival has been going for over 90 years and draws in large crowds of local families and tourists.

Close-by you have the wonderful Holkham Hall, and Holkham National Nature Reserve which are a stunning all year round! Whilst in driving distance you have the incredible Blakeney point, a beautiful nature reserve where you can see the seals and their pups!
