Carnival week is also not to be missed, usually at the end of July / beginning of August, it includes a raft race, tug of war, duck race, sandcastle and sculpture competition, carnival parade and live music events throughout the week. The carnival has been going for over 90 years and draws in large crowds of local families and tourists.
Close-by you have the wonderful Holkham Hall, and Holkham National Nature Reserve which are a stunning all year round! Whilst in driving distance you have the incredible Blakeney point, a beautiful nature reserve where you can see the seals and their pups!
