Excellent stay - close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay. Small room with everything you need. Our hosts were available and willing to answers questions or take care of any needs. The roof top deck was a favorite for us. We enjoyed looking out over the Bay. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Another great stay

3 years later and another great stay! Studio was ready before check in. Clean with everything we needed. Close to everything (bars, restaurants) and there is a grocery store with fresh coffee next door. Towels and nice beach chairs to use at the beach. Perfect for a couple. We hope to come back again!

Great Stay!

Had a great stay at the blue parrot. Really everything you could have asked for was available for a 2 night stay. The studio apartment was so cute and well stocked with all the basics you need, perfect for 2 people. Bed was very comfortable and the place was clean. Peter was a great, responsive hosts, checking in/out was a breeze. He even accommodated a bag drop before our check in time. Close to all the restaurants/bars in ocean beach. Great visit!!

Horrific

We arrived and was immediately hit in the face with the stench of mold and mildew . We were told the would be a full size bed and pullout sofa . There was no pullout, when we tried to shower , the hot water handle fell off( Peter, the owner claimed we broke it .he also claimed we broke off the refrigerator handle . Due to the conditions, we had to vacate . Peter The owner said he would reimburse us , then pleaded with us not to give him a bad report . We agreed . When we followed up with Peter,a week later, he said we damaged his property and we should call Vrbo for reimbursement . When we called Vrbo, they claimed we should have called immediately . My suggestion: don’t rent a room in the Blue Parrot!

A lot to be desired

This location is not adequate for 2-3 people. There was no sleeper couch so only 1 bed! The landlord was not communicative and did not seem to care. On our last night he gave us an air mattress. The studio was not clean . Blankets and floor rug needed cleaning.

Ocean Beach

Room was as advertised; well priced given the expensive rooms at nearby hotels. The apt was clean, well stocked, and had everything needed. Location is excellent as well. One item worth noting: the owner entered the apartment during our stay with no warning, which was very surprising. It seems he was not aware of which date we were leaving. Overall, a good stay.

Horrible

The accommodation was a palling. Pictures misrepresented it. I was on the phone with your company several times and got disconnected. I have more bookings For the same location in August and I would like a refund.
