ホリデーホームは、海抜300 mに位置するカラタフィミセジェスタ市にあり、海岸から後背地までの最大30-35 kmをカバーする領土全体の重心にあります。
家は会社の敷地内の1階にあり、その周りには舗装されたエリアと、植物、ヒノキ、ヤシの木のある大きな庭があります。

A Great Base

A very comfortable house equiped with just about everything you'll ever need. Our host, Claudia, was very helpful in providing a few excellent local restaurants to dine at. Secluded. Quiet. It made a great base to explore Tripani, Erice, Marsala and more.

Tranquil Setting

This is a lovely place to stay and relax and enjoy the Sicilian countryside. the kitchen is well equipped. Well-kept property. although there is a barbecue, I wish there were some barbecue tools to be able to use it. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay here.

A quiet and relaxing holiday home .

We spent 10 days on holidays in this lovely property, it is ideal for holiday makers looking for peace and quiet . Claudia is a really lovely person who was on hand night or day for assistance , it is great to have someone so helpful close by. A car is a must to get around . The local people are all so friendly and welcoming , it was be very easy to make friends with them despite the language barrier. Claudia's rental home is very large with all the essentials and more - we slept so well and felt so safe . We got to experience the beauty of Sicily and the weather was fantastic . We would definitely recommend Claudia's rental home for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Ein wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes Haus in den Weinbergen mit einem wunderbaren Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Mariella hat sich immer erkundigt, ob wir etwas brauchen und alles ok ist. Ebenso konnte man immer auf ihre Nichte Sara oder ihren Bruder Vincenzo und Ehefrau Claudia zugehen, wenn man etwas benötigte. Vielen Dank für diese 2 Wochen bei Euch! Wir kommen sicher wieder

Das Haus liegt etwas abseits von Calatafimi. Genau das wollten wir. Herrliche Ruhe und einen Pool. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Von dort aus kann man alles an der Westküste Siziliens erreichen. Segesta ist direkt vor der Tür. Trapani, Erice , Scopelo, Lo Zingaro sist alles in Mac. 45. zu erreichen

A great place from which to explore western Sicily

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely, spacious & well-equipped home just outside the interesting little hill town of Calatafimi-Segesta. Thanks to Claudia for her warm welcome and the various "goodies" provided which were much appreciated. As planned, we travelled far and wide across the western half of the island with none of the major sights being more than 2 hours' drive away (and some much closer). We would particularly recommend (in no particular order): Erice: the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento; the stunning cathedral/cloisters of Monreale; walking in Lo Zingaro Nature Area and Castellamare del Golfo; and Selinunte - both the ruins and the beach! Two tips for future visitors: 1. Both the food and the welcome were excellent at "La Locanda da Nonna Ciccia" in Via Alcide de Gasperi in Calatafimi; 2. If you fancy a day-trip into Palermo (well worth it) and don't want to drive (it really is as crazily bad as everyone says!) then drive to Piraineto station (just off the motorway) on the edge of the city, about 55 min from the house, and then catch the train to either Palermo Centrale or Palazzo Reale-Orleans - there are trains every 30 min, the journey takes just under an hour and is cheaper than a British rail ticket!.

Magnifique, dépaysant et authentique

Nous avons passé 10 jours fantastiques au calme et au coeur de la Sicile. La location était comme notre propre maison, Claudia a été adorable, disponible et très accueillante. La propriété, au coeur des vignes, est exceptionnelle. Les chiens, eux-mêmes, Sont adorables. Nous espérons y revenir.

Excellent stay near Segesta

This place is much bigger than what you would expect from the pictures. You will have the whole house to yourself including the garden terraces and patio. The other family on the estate looks after the house and the guests and even provided us with wine from their vineyard. Recommended!

Great stay in a lovely holiday home

We had an enjoyable week at this property and could not have asked for more. Our host, Claudia, was fantastic in sharing information and suggestions (So accurate!) And thoughtfully helping us out with food shopping as we were arriving late. She was always just a text message away. The property is very comfortable with a great selection of indoor and outdoor searching areas, which is rare in holiday accommodation. It is also very well equipped. We had a very interesting tour around the winery and enjoyed the lovely wine that the family produces themselves. Overall, it was a fab stay.

Sicily little Paradise

We spent 10 days at Dispensa San Pietro (4 adults and 2 young children ) and we had a great time immerse in the countryside in this beautiful vineyard. The house is very comfortable with everything you need ( including toys and books )and we were supplied regularly with great wine and amazing lemons and oranges. The children loved it and enjoyed the pool which was very refreshing considering the heat (around 30/35 degrees). We enjoyed to visit Segesta Temple and amphitheatre and Garibaldi battle fields. We went to Capo San Vito with the beautiful sands at about 1:15 min away and the children favourite beach of Castellammare which is only 1/2 hour away. Mariella was excellent for the communications and Claudia has been a great Host and helping with anything we needed! Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this hidden corner! We will be back I hope soon Thank you again for making our stay very special!!

Good value for money!

We (three adults and two childreen) spent two weeks at the house. The house is well kept og equipped and Claudia, the host that lives next door is fantastic! She speaks English, so there is no problem communicating. There are three large dogs at the vineyard, but they are just friendly. 10 minutes drive from to Calatafimi, a small town where you can get basics groceries, some good restaurant and few tourist. 30 minutes drive to Castellamare Del Golfo, a larger city. 60 minutes drive to Palermo. We had a perfect stay and will be back!

Nach Hause kommen

Bereits zum dritten Mal war ich jetzt im Haus von Mariella und es ist immer wieder, als würde ich nach Hause kommen. Ich fühle mich dort sehr wohl, genieße die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit und das Italien fern ab des Massentourismus und freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal, wenn ich meine Batterien dort wieder auftanken kann. Ein großes Glück für mich, die immer noch nicht richtig italienisch sprechen kann (aber bald!!!), ist, dass Claudia und ihre Familie dort vor Ort und immer ansprechbar sind. Ich möchte die Abende auf der Terrasse, die Marktbesuche und die vielen Gespräche nicht missen.... Bis bald!!!!

agréable séjour dans un cadre idilique

Maison agréable, propre et calme au milieu de vignes à 1h de voiture de Palerme. Les photos montres la maison de façon réel. La maison possède tout le confort nécessaire que ce soit à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Je la recommande fortement pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. La propriétaire est trés gentille et très disponible.

Maison spacieuse et très calme

Nous avons apprécié cette maison très spacieuse et vraiment bien équipée (dans la cuisine, mais aussi clim, moustiquaires...). La piscine avec vue sur les vignes était vraiment agréable également. Merci à Claudia pour son accueil, sa gentillesse, la possibilité de parler avec elle en anglais... A 5 minutes de Ségeste, une situation assez centrale pour visiter l'ouest de la Sicile (de Palerme à Trapani, jusqu'à Sélinunte). A noter la présence de trois gros chiens sur la propriété. Ils sont très gentils et calmes (ne sautent pas, n'aboient pas...) mais si, comme nous, vos enfants ont peur des animaux, alors vous serez prévenus.

Bella, pulitissima, fresca!

Bellissima settimana nella campagna segestana all' insegna di pace e relax! Ottimo punto di partenza x visitare le "bellezze" della Sicilia occidentale. Grazie a Mariella che nonostante non fosse presente ha seguito con scrupolo il nostro soggiorno non facendoci mancare niente! Grazie a Claudia e al piccolo Lorenzo che ci è rimasto nel cuore! Grazie anche a Jeky Pica e Cuccio che hanno "vegliato" sui nostri bimbi facendoli divertire un mondo e rendendo la loro vacanza ancora più speciale.... Sicuramente da rifare e da consigliare!!

Perfect place to stay

Our holiday in Sicily with 2 girls of 11 was the best! Although the weather was not as nice as normally around this time of the year we could not have wished for a better place to stay. The girls had the best time with the boys of the main house, especially when there was the festival in the village. Our hosts were the nicest persons ever. The house had everything, really everything and the nature around us was amazing. Thank you for a very warm stay!!

une maison de charme au milieu des vignes

Nous avons été accueillis comme des amis par Claudia qui a tout fait pour nous faire découvrir le charme et les coutumes de la région et du village à côté. La vue sur les collines est somptueuse et apaisante, le bruit des clochettes des moutons nous berçait. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée, très accueillante. Le seul aspect qui dérangeait un peu mes 4 enfants était la taille de la piscine, un peu trop petite quand ils se baignaient à 4. La région est riche et beaucoup de sites sont proches. C'est une maison à recommander sans aucun doute !!!

Eine Oase zum wohlfühlen

Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen auf Dispensa San Pietro verbracht. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen inmitten von Weinreben, Palmen und Blumen. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und sehr geräumig. Mit vier Personen hatten wir viel Platz. Von dort haben wir viel unternehmen können,es war alles gut zu erreichen. Die Hauseigenen Weine haben es verdient probiert und genossen zu werden. The stay of our dreams Nov 2014-Apr 2015

We have been here for the past five months in this beautiful villa and leave this weekend, we will be very sad to go. We've had a fantastic time. The villa is sited on a wine yard owned by the Tumminia family. They are just the best, all of the family are lovely, helpful and there if you need them. The villa is modern but still very Sicilian, the garden lovely, the surroundings beautiful, the villa has absolutely everything you need.....The local Town Calatafimi is very Sicilian and a must see (remember many places close at about 1.30pm and open at 4pm not just here but all across Italy.) You can stand on the veranda and look across the valley, its breathtaking and gives you the wow feeling. Sit on the veranda and watch the sun come up over the back of the villa in the morning and then set on the mountain in front of the villa and disappear at the end of the day. The description given for the villa is excellent, and you get what you see in the photos. The villa was spotless and to say that we have had a beautiful, interesting, exciting and Sicilian five months would be understatement. The support and service from Mariella (villa owner) and Claudia (sister-in law, who speaks excellent english) is first class, nothing was too much trouble .... Claudia is the main contact as her and her husband own the vineyard you will be staying on... There is lots to see and do, Calatafimi, Segesta , Palermo, Cape san Vito, Corelone (yes from the Godfather films), the Beaches are all around at Alcamo and Ennys cafe on the way to Alcamo Marina is brill, the historic ruins at Segesta and The Romaine memorium on top of the mountain in front you, is only 20 minutes away, the thermal spa again at Alcamo, where for 15 euros you can use the spa at night and enjoy a pizza of your choice with a drink and sweet..amazing. The markets are great too, a real experience, Alcamo, Trapani, Castel del Golfo, Calatafimi... to name but a few.....town exhibitions and marches. Just ask Claudia if you want any info..or just get in your car and explore. I guarantee you won't be bored or disappointed. We could have stayed longer.. so much to see and do, but again if you are looking for peace and quiet and relaxation its here, its quite surreal to hear the sound of silence....a stay here is whole new experience and a real treat. We could NOT fault it, its beautiful, stunning, emotional and just different. Come and stay you will NOT be disappointed...(You definately need a car).

Erholsame Ferien in toller Umgebung

Die Bilder im Internet haben nicht zu viel versprochen, das Haus ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet und es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt (außer einem Brotmesser, das uns unsere Vermieterin Claudia sofort besorgt hat ;-) Wir haben die Ruhe in San Pietro sehr genossen, genauso wie den guten Wein und die netten Gespräche abends mit Claudia und Vincenzo. Dass sogar die ganze Familie Deutsch spricht, hat die Kommunikation für uns natürlich sehr viel einfacher gestaltet. Das Weingut liegt außerhalb von Calatafimi, man braucht also unbedingt ein Auto, wenn man seinen Urlaub dort verbringen will, aber deshalb ist es dort eben auch sehr ruhig. Wir können San Pietro uneingeschränkt empfehlen - also nichts wie hin!!!! Liebe Claudia - noch Mal vielen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!!

Idyllic Sicilian Retreat

I cannot recommend this villa, set in a picturesque vineyard, highly enough! The description of the villa and pictures that we viewed on the web were enticing, but the reality is even better! The villa was clean, nicely presented and cool in the summer heat! Dotted around the garden were chairs and a hammock, which was perfect for an afternoon siesta! Claudia and her family made us feel very welcome. They invited us to an evening of wine tasting and live music, a wonderful experience, second to none. While we often spent the day by the beach, visiting Scopello , San Vito Lo Capo, and Castellammare Del Golfo, or a morning at the Classical ruins of Segesta or Selinunte, it was always a joy to return to the calm, serene surroundings of the vineyard and the swimming pool. The local town is Calatafimi-Segesta which is refreshingly untourist-y and has shops and amenities. Many people dream of 'getting away from it all', being surrounded by nature, the countryside, not being surrounded by voices of tourists (from your own country!), our holiday at the villa offered us this and more. If you search for Arcadia you might find it here!

Idyllic Sicilian retreat

I cannot recommend this villa, set in a picturesque vineyard, highly enough! The description of the villa and pictures which we viewed on the web were enticing, but the reality is even better! The villa was clean, nicely presented and cool in the summer heat! Dotted around the garden were chairs and a hammock, which was perfect for an afternoon siesta! Claudia and her family made us feel very welcome. They invited us to an evening of wine tasting and live music, a wonderful experience. While we often spent the day by the beach, visiting Scopello , San Vito Lo Capo, and Castellammare Del Golfo, or a morning at the Classical ruins of Segesta or Selinunte, it was always a joy to return to the calm, serene surroundings of the vineyard and the swimming pool. The local town is Calatafimi-Segesta which is refreshingly untourist-y and has shops and amenities. Many people dream of 'getting away from it all', being surrounded by nature, the countryside, not being surrounded by voices of tourists (from your own country!), our holiday at the villa offered us this and more. A wonderful place to stay in every respect.

After our first two weeks at a superb apartment in Palermo and a villa in Syracuse we could not believe that our third week could be any better. Our stay at San Pietro surpassed all our expectations! Only 5 minutes from the hill top town of Calatfimi, but we were in wonderful, quiet countryside with spectacular views, over the vineyard and on to the hills around. It would have been hard to find without the guidance of a wonderful host, Claudia, who speaks excellent English and Italian as well as German. She met us, as she offers to do for all visitors, at the entrance to the town and guided us to the house, showing us the supermarkets, the petrol station, the pharmacy, etc and even finding the times of mass. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped inside and out with lovely areas to sit in either sun or shade all day. The pool was one depth and tho above ground had a lovely deck with many loungers and a shady area. It was a great place to relax after a morning sightseeing. Erice, Trapani, Segesta and Castellmare del Golfo are all within very easy reach. Monreale was only an hour's drive on an easy road through spectacular mountain scenery. Even though we visited these places and more our really enjoyable moments were are the house. We especially enjoyed our wine tasting evening there. The winery is set in tress close to the house and the owner's house. We tried rose, white, sparkling and red - all generously poured and with no suggestion to buy any wine. We did though. It is the finest Italian wine we have ever tasted. The family should be so proud of the results of their tremendous hard work. Do not be put off if it is a little hard to communicate with Mariella, the owner, who speaks and writes Italian. We used Google translate and then emailed and spoke with Claudia. We cannot recommend San Pietro highly enough. If we visit this area again we would undoubtedly stay here.
