Appartement correspondant à l’annonce ! Spacieux et confortable, il est situé au cœur de Madrid et tout peut se faire à pieds ! Il faudrait cependant compléter le matériel de cuisine: trop peu de couverts et d’assiettes… manque également une raclette dans la douche pour nettoyer les parois!L’hôte a toujours été très réactif à nos demandesNous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Pros: It's in a fantastic location, only a 2-minute walk to the nearest Metro station and a 24-hour market in case you needed anything. Off the main street and away from all the street noise. The shower had excellent water pressure and HOT water (this might seem like a weird pro, but it's a pro!)Cons: There was some minor construction going on in the building that we weren't made aware of. On our first day, within an hour of checking in, someone rang the bell and asked if they could build some furniture for the apartment, and spent an hour building a desk and loudly talking on their speakerphone while we had just gotten off a long flight. We also weren't aware we needed to supply our own laundry detergent, as there was none provided. We ended up purchasing a box and left it there for the next tenants to use. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay at the apartment and found the pros to outweigh the cons.

Communication plus lente en raison quon fait affaire avec une agence. Le samedi au depart je nai jamais eu de réponse de leur part quand j’ai adressé des questions. Lappartement est hyper central. Nous etions 3 pour 3 jours et lequipement de cuisine manquait. Nous devions laver au fur et a mesure. (Logement est pour 4)Espace, chambre et salle de bain spacieux. Par contre manque une toute de decoration pratique, ex: miroir, crochet a serviette, tablette pour article de salle de bain. Tous des détail facile a regler mais qui rende le sejour plus agreable.

Construction Nightmare!

This apartment is lovely and as advertised, however the street out front is closed and under construction. After a day of travel, the taxi from the airport had to go around several blocks to figure out where to drop us off. The trash around the construction site is just gross an it's everywhere. We should have been advised during booking. When the street is fixed, this wll be a nice spot to stsy.advisedof this.

Excellent apartment in a great location

Great stay in this lovely apartment. It is close and very easy walking distance to Sol, Plaza Mayor and REALLY close to El Rastro. 24 hour Carrefour supermarket on the corner, Tirso de Molina metro at the plaza at the end of the street. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. Great to have a small kitchen and a washing machine. Would recommend. Only be aware there is a lift but there are 8 or so steps up to the lift, 3 without a balustrade.

lovely apartment but poor communication

Spacious, clean, and quiet apartment in an excellent area. Comfortable bed, good AC. Walking distance to most of downtown area. Only issue was communication with hosting company - sent multiple emails and VRBO chats and received no response until about 24 hours before check in. Would have been nice to know what was happening and the check in protocol well before this point.

A great choice

Pros: fabulous location steps away from a metro stop. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet (a rarity in Madrid). Comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Hosts quickly responsive and accommodating. Needing improvement: the unit is sparely appointed (perhaps newly renovated). There is little room for one’s suitcase or to put out your clothes in bedroom. Bedroom needs more outlets (we had to unplug lamps for our phones). They use an app for entry that often didn’t work for us. Fortunately they also provide a key once you are inside. But the concerns are outweighed by the many positives and we highly recommend it.

There was nothing we didn't like about this apartment. It was quiet, a lovely outlook to the courtyard. A working lift. Communication was excellent and Leo met us at 2am!! Walking distance to all the main attractions and 1 min to metro. Supermarket on the corner. Love love love

Great property in great location

We loved our stay here and the property suited our needs well. The location is great and the hosts were helpful, easy to deal with and responsive. The property was clean, comfortable and adequately provisioned. The only negative was the smell of smoke even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking. We encountered this in other properties in Spain too though.

Spacious airy light-filled quiet, excellent

I would stay at this property again. The apartment is furnished with most everything you would need, the kitchen was very easy to cook in, a nice, large refrigerator, good elevator, and the best part was that it is near the Rastro and the Plaza Mayor, steps from two supermarkets and a lovely plaza, in a delightful old building with a flower filled courtyard that is well taken care of. One block from the Tirso de Molina metro stop, and generally very quiet. Communication with Madflats was excellent.
