Nine adults fit comfortably in this lovely townhome just a few minutes’ walk from the Spanish Arch and Druid Theatre in Galway. One of us hiked in Connemara National Park and out to Salthill, others caught the ferry to Inishmore with a return under the Cliffs of Moher (departing close to the townhome), and I explored the city—its bookstores and street art—on several long walks. Easy free parking for one car and the other was stationed in a nearby garage.

Perfect stay

We had the best time in Galway and so much of that is because we were in this awesome home! It is so so close to everything, has all the amenities you could want, and was so comfortable for my parents, husband, 3 kids and me. There are 3 floors of bedrooms (each bedroom floor with its own bathroom), so lots of stairs but it provided a nice sense of your own space. Highly recommend!!

Gated community - nice stay

Great condo on the Docks - one entrance on the marina side and another on the Long Walk. Very convenient walking to all Galway has to offer. Be aware that you will be climbing steps a fair amount - all the bedrooms are up stairs, and the top suite is three stories up.

Family gathering.

We came to Galway to spend time together and to trace Irish roots. We found the townhouse to be the perfect house for our 11 family members who ranged in age from 2-72. The home is walkable to food and to sites of interest and is clean, nicely furnished, and well organized. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Great stay in Galway

We really enjoyed the location of this house, really close to the Spanish Arch, many pubs/restaurants, and the Aran Ferry port. We used the allotted parking spot, which was convenient, and parked a 2nd car in a very close paid lot. There are a lot of steps/floors, especially to the top room, but there were plenty of toilets and beds to accommodate our family. Overall, a great stay.

Perfect Location

Our stay at this centrally located townhouse in Galway was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal, putting us within easy walking distance of the city's best restaurants, shopping, live music venues, and historic sites. It made exploring Galway a breeze, and we loved being in the heart of everything. A major bonus was that the ferry to the Aran Islands was only a 10-minute walk away. This made our day trip to the islands incredibly convenient and stress-free. The townhouse itself was fantastic. The secured gated entrance provided peace of mind, and the modern decor gave the place a fresh, stylish feel. The property was in an excellent location, the house was a good size with comfortable beds. We had a fully functional kitchen with good appliances. There was plenty of coffee and tea, which was great to have after a long drive from Dublin. Highly recommend this place especially if you have a large family, no issues at all.

The townhouse is on several floors which controls the amount of noise. The kitchen is small and family room did not have enough seating for the 8 of us. Very close to center of town.

Fantastic stay!

Had a wonderful time in Galway celebrating with family. Property was in fantastic condition, location was a few minutes walk from the Latin Quarter. Host was super attentive in responding to all questions and descriptive with property instructions. Would highly recommend for a spacious place in Galway.

We all enjoyed our stay in Galway. Dun Aengus is the perfect location, so close to Eyre Square and all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The house itself is clean, bright and welcoming. Would definately recommend for a nice relaxing break away.

Great Location & Layout

This is a unique set-up where you are essentially in a townhouse in an enclosed courtyard area next to the water. Unit was in excellent shape with a good layout for multiple couples or family members. Easy to walk into the heart of the city & yet still be able to come back to privacy at your place. Parking set-up works well.

Family Trip to Ireland

This is a great apartment for exploring Galway city and the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms worked perfectly for our family of 10. While not large, the kitchen worked well for breakfasts and dinners and came equipped with all of the essentials. The apartment is located within easy walking distance of downtown Galway with equally easy driving access for touring in Connemara, the Burren and the upper Shannon River valley sites. Our family heartily enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for others.

Amazing property, very clean, walking distance to Galway town, great facilities and amenities. Although a noise curfew was in place after 8pm our neighbours were very noisy for a few nights, however I would rent this property again.

PERFECTION!

Everything about this townhouse was exceptional! Location was beautiful, everyone had their own room, bedding was crisp, clean, and cozy. Working in the hotel industry for 25 plus years, our entire family has extremely high expectations regarding accommodations and this place EXCEEDED all our expectations. Jown and Sinead were very responsive and could not have been kinder. There were six of us in this townhome with three teenagers. The area/location is safe and walkable. We felt very comfortable with our teenagers walking and exploring on their own. Galway now has a forever place in our heart and we cannot wait to go back. You cannot beat this location, steps away from all the best pubs with live Irish music every day/night, amazing restaurants, and the best shopping. We'll be coming back soon! Thank you Jown and Sinead for the best family vacation we have ever had!

The property worked very well for our group of 8. The unit is four floors high with the kitchen, dining area, and living room on the first floor, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and a bedroom and bathroom on the 4th floor. There is a futon/fold out sofa listed but it isn't in great shape and was fairly uncomfortable. The beds were small but comfortable and there were even bath products like shampoo and soap which is unusual in rental units. There was quite a bit of late night noise from the group next door but they were responsive to our requests to quiet down. We could usually get enough hot water but if multiple people took showers (like in the evening) then we ran out. Washer and dryer were nice to have.

Located within a gated community in the heart of Galway city we are one block to the Latin Quarter, and a few minutes to Eyre Square, Claddagh, and Shop Street. If you have a large group then this is the private home rental for you. We can accommodate 8 guests but if you have more than 8 in your group we have a second home right next to this one, please message us.
