B&B Salem

The location was good and the property relatively clean. However, had to ask for paper towel and toilet paper. We got in late evening and there no drinking water or access to without going to the shop. We were happy preparing some light meals but there was not a sharp knife the we could slice fruits of vegetable so we went and bought one. The television did not work well so there was no entertainment at home and the Wi-Fi was very poor.

I really enjoyed my 3 weeks stay here. The property was clean, relaxing and safe. The area was peaceful and quiet. 1st night had abit of electrical issue, but that was understandable, it was shortly after hurricane Beryl, this was quickly sorted out by Gee & Michael who was easy to reach. There were occassions whilst watching TV, the electricity would tripped out, but it tend to come back on within a matter of seconds, then you have to wait for wifi to come back on. Apart from that, the facilities are satisfactory. There are untensils and cooking pots available. You have acess to local shops, ATM machines, Beaches and Restaurants/Juicy Patties, Devon House Ice creams and lots more. St Anns Bay is just a few minutes away, you can go and buy locally grown fruits & vegetables. Michael was very helpful and hard-working, sonare the others who looks after the property. I would definitely stay here again...

There were many things that were not satisfactory, however, the owner was more than helpful.

There were many things that failed to meet the standards as stated in the listing. The owner was very understanding and tried their utmost to rectify the problems. From cooking equipment to non working Wi-Fi. These were only some of the factors the property manager failed to meet. I am waiting for a reply for partial reimbursement as I stayed with family in Kingston and Mandeville to meet work commitments. The landlord did her best and I must express the support I was give considering the time difference which delayed some things running smoothly. I look forward to hearing from vrbo regarding my recent stay.

Nice but far

The apartment was well kept, however, there were times when the electricity in part of the apartment would go out. The gate keeper new the trick to restart it. Turn on the stove and then every thing would work. It's more faulty wiring than actual power outage. The property is 30 min away from attractions in Ocho Rios.

This is a property that is safe and secure first of all. With 24 hour security and round the clock support from the wonderful groundsman. The outdoor pool has just been refurbished and is in excellent condition
This is a property that incorporates style, luxury, modern feel and all self-contained
With brand new kitchen and fully fitted kitchen and all amenities this is a beautiful place to stay
It is walking distance from the beach, bars, restaurants , horse riding and golf- a place that is in the vibrant part of the town yet still being far enough for peace and tranquillity once you close your door
