Clean, roomy, great location

Great spot for walkability to many Oxford highlights. Plenty of space for us. Kitchen is good. Very clean and tidy. Lovely view of the castle! Lots of dining options - and groceries - nearby.

Great central apartment

Had a wonderful stay in Oxford. The apartment is in a perfect location, overlooking the castle and river, 2 minutes walk from the shopping centre.There's an abundance of seating for 4. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed for a 3 night stay

Location location location!

Full marks on all points, but in particular this is a prime location. 10 minutes by foot to all the key attractions and locations.

Great location for walking around Oxford

The apartment was very clean and on a quiet street. It was comfortable for my family of four including two teenagers. It was an easy walk from the train station, close to restaurants and the heart of Oxford. We would stay here again.

Great place in Oxford

This lovely apartment is in a very convenient location—10 minute walk to train station and 10 minutes from the heart of Oxford. It is very quiet and comfortable. We could easily walk to many great restaurants and sights.

Great place to stay in Oxford

This was a great flat.Very clean and well appointed. Well heated. Central to Oxford and well positioned for walking and public transport. Close to shops. We checked in after 9 pm and finding the key locker was difficult in the dark. Suggest you check in during the day.

Oxford at the Castle

We had a lovely stay in Tim’s flat in the city center of Oxford. The place was ideally located for touring Oxford and a short walk to family on the west side of town. It was clean, comfortable, and the check in was easy. Thank you!

Perfect for weekend stay in Oxford

The location, cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the apartment were perfect for our 2 adult couples’ needs. Our incoming flight was delayed by 7 hours so we arrived later in the evening instead of early afternoon as planned; so we really appreciated having clear self check-in instructions. Our host was conscientious about checking in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory; which it definitely was.

A Beautiful View with Responsive Property Manager

A beautiful view of the Oxford Castle Tower from the balcony. Lovely flat. Great location. The check in procedures were a bit unusual in having to find the key box located in an obscure parking lot and then go to the flat. The video link was helpful, but still an odd procedure and a bit unsettling after dark. Even with that issue, we would stay here again. Excellent property. Excellent communication with the property manager. Very responsive and helpful.

Outstanding Place in Oxford

I was really surprised by this cozy "apartment" Vrbo in Oxford. Tucked neatly in a building right next to the castle and a lovely canal, this place was comfortable, quiet and had everything my family of 4 needed. We used the place as a "base of operations" as we explored the Oxford area. It was barely an 8 minute walk to get to the Vrbo from the train station, and then less than 10 minute walk to get to the busier section of town... and we even passed a grocery store along the way for food (perfect!). The place has a useful kitchen with pretty much everything you'd need to eat and do laundry. The owner responds quickly to messages and was quite helpful. All-in-all, if you're interested in visiting the Oxford area and want a nice, clean, cozy place to stay, you can't go wrong with this place.

Perfect apartment and location

This apartment is beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. The location is ideal. The building is relatively quiet and easy to get to. It’s very close to a great shopping center with lots of great restaurants and a grocery store. The view off of the balcony and from the bedroom windows is lovely. I ended up staying inside more than I ever anticipated due to illness, so listening to the stream and watching it flow was very peaceful. Loved watching the heron pick about for food in the stream bed. The backside of the prison and the beautiful spire near it were as close as I got to seeing the beautiful buildings of Oxford. Everything about this apartment is peaceful and calming.

First-the apartment-The living room is spacious and the kitchen is nice for cooking in rather than having to eat out (though is lacks any serving dishes or measuring cups). One bedrooms is tiny -you have to crawl over the bed to get in. The bathrooms are spacious and nice. It is around a 10-15 minute walk to old town Oxford which is stunningly beautiful! It is a 5 min walk to a huge mall with everything.Unfortunately our experience with the owner was very poor. We contacted him 3 times before we arrived with no response. The pick-up for keys was in a very sketchy car lot (I wouldn't go there alone). We were told we could check in at 2, so we picked up the keys and went to the apartment. It had not been cleaned. We left for an hour for the cleaners and when we returned they had left but both the refrigerator and bread box had a previous guests' food in them. We contacted the owner numerous times (whatsApp and phone) throughout our stay and he simply did not respond. Information in his apartment guide was incorrect and it was missing some basic information. Sadly, we would NOT recommend renting with this owner.

Horrible check in process

Incorrect checkin information sent, property manager did not respond to calls or texts for over two hours and we ended up standing in the cold rain for over two hours waiting for the manager to respond to us. HORRIBLE way to start our vacation - property was OK, not great - but the checkin process was soooo awful and poorly handled that it really ruined our stayl

Perfect location, but lacking in a few ways

I had a poor experience with communicating with Tim from the beginning. I had contacted him before the stay & he didn't reply until I had VRBO contact him. I emailed him twice during our stay and never heard back. There were no fans in the rooms as the info booklet said there were & the indo regarding thecwasher/dryer was inaccurate. I emailed him asked him about the fans, but never heard back. There was only a partial roll of paper towels, one kitchen towel & no extra trash bags. One bathroom smelled like stale cigarette smoke & mold - I'm not saying that is what is was, but it had an odor. Outside of the apt in the stairwells there was a smell of bug poison or mold or something. It was clean, but everything is a little worn. I did expect more for the price I paid. However, the location is perfect!

A Fantastic Oxford Stay!

The flat was just amazing. The location was so convenient to shopping, transportation, and restaurants with great views. The owner was extremely responsive to all questions both before our stay and after we arrived. Both the check in and check out processes were seamless. The flat is very secure and safe, with dependable wifi. Everything was bright, clean, well decorated, with very comfortable beds. We stayed for an extended time (a month) and even after that amount of time we were so comfortable and happy there. We can’t wait to stay again.

Great location

Efficient and friendly welcome after last minute change to rental. Only downsides - lack of mugs and weak shower but did not mar the great location and space.
