Great location

We had an amazing time in this wonderful city of Bordeaux. The apartment was perfectly located and thus we were able to easily walk to all the activities we had planned. Our host was wonderful. We were very happy with our stay.

Spacious place, close to tramway and to nice areas. Pictures are not accurate as there are now carpets and rugs in the bedroom.

Great location and beautifully appointed apartment.

I highly recommend this apartment. Spacious, clean, great beds/mattresses and nice bedding. The views from the windows are enchanting. Well equipped kitchen, abundant water in the showers. Clean, modern and renovated unit. Exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay here again. The city of Bordeaux is gorgeous with its old world architecture and full of cafes and shopping. Overall a GREAT stay!!

Incredible property in the perfect location

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view and centrally located. Our stay was absolutely perfect leaving nothing to be desired. The apartment itself was spotless and well stocked for our family. The checking in and checking out process was seamless, with easy and clear communication from the owner. Outside our door we had easy access to all the sites either by walking or transit. Hopefully we are lucky enough to return to this beautiful property.

Bordeaux fairy tale view

Overall enjoyed the property- it was quite well situated for getting around town, restaurants, night life, etc. The bedrooms were like quiet little cocoons- minimal noise for an apartment. The only item to note was both rooms had more like a Queen plus size bed. The check in process and communication with the manager could not have been easier! Very clean and tidy property.

Medieval View, Modern Convenience

The view out the windows can transport you to the ancient heart of Bordeaux, as this apartment sits in one of the buildings that replaced the ancient palace of the Aquitaine dukes. But in addition to this location in a UNESCO world heritage city, you have the convenience of a lift, wifi, and modern kitchen. The apartment is as described and very comfortable. Cafes, wine stores, and other shops are just out the door. This is a popular part of Bordeaux and the place/square is full in the evenings. You'll feel in the center of a lively city. We had a car and found parking at the Victor Hugo garage to be most convenient. Most city landmarks are in walking distance, with the tram stop nearby as well. Staff was very pleasant to work with -- thank you!

Large well located apartment

We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights and found it to be excellent - from allowing us an early check-in, the cleanliness of the place, the size of the apartment and especially the location, it made this a great place to stay on our return visit to Bordeaux

Great location.

Very spacious and clean apartment and Charlotte was there to greet us. Bar opposite was a little noisy at times but not in a raucous way. Close to the tram and bus for the airport. Check out ticket options.

You feel like home

Appartement traversant avec des pièces spacieuses et une belle hauteur sur plafond, très tranquille malgré la proximités des bars et des restaurants et à 2 pas de la Garonne pour faire du sport. Ambiance très cosy. Petit bémol pour le plan de cuisson de la cuisine (petit et lent).

Wonderful place to stay

What an excellent place to stay! centrally located. grocery store around the corner. small bar across the street for a night cap. easy walk to everywhere. We took a wine tour and seems the main pickup spot for tours is a few minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable. I would definately rebook here! Cant wait to come back. Thanks for a great stay!

Bordeaux gem

Perfect location and very convenient to walk everywhere. Pictures of listing were very accurate but the whole apartment was bigger than we expected. Charlotte was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. When we had some difficulties getting our car to the apartment at the end of our stay due to some unexpected road issues, Charlotte went out of her way to help us navigate the very challenging roads. She is a real gem and so is the apartment. We would stay there again if we return.

The apartment is in an amazing location right in the heart of Bordeaux town, which was convenient for seeing the city on foot as well as for day tours to surrounding areas. Both check-in and check-out were very easy and the apartment itself was very well equipped with some thoughful touches. It was also surprisingly quiet for such a central location. There are plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops neaby but at night there was no noise. I’d definitely stay here again if I went back to Bordeaux and I’d recommend it to others.

Authentic experience, very clean apartment

- Very clean - Well-equipped, even has laundry tablets, dish detergent etc. - View out one of the windows in the living room is what you see in the photo, is indeed very romantic - Quieter neighbourhood, supermarket just 30 secs away, many bakeries nearby (husband went to a different one every morning and they were just a few minutes walk) - Walk to the main tourists spots - wifi works very well - Staying amongst local french neighbours, makes for an authentic experience. - Very efficient check-in and out. Suggestions: - Apartment needs a little investment - desperately need new kitchen knives, brighter lights and/or more lighting, fixing of cracks in the walls etc. - Nearest carpark - Saliniere - is a 10 minute walk through "less scenic" neighbourhood along the tram tracks, best pick another close enough one

I am a professional writer, renovator and constant traveller. My husband and I and love French food, wine, architecture, music and culture. Originally from New Zealand and Australia, we are now permanently based in the Northern Hemisphere with homes in France and Morocco. It is a joy for us to be able to spend part of each year in Bordeaux. The city has so much to offer and when we are away, it is a pleasure to be able to share this experience with others and help them make the most of their holiday.
Since 2007, our team have had a vast amount of experience in meeting, greeting and making guests feel comfortable. We offer several one and two bedroom apartments in the historic centre of Bordeaux, and are happy to assist in every way.

The view of the "fairytale gate", Porte Cailhau, gave a magical feel to this apartment. It's flooded with light from the French windows and is comfortable, warm and spacious. We also loved that it was in a pedestrian only street, close to great restaurants, an excellent wine merchant, and a small supermarket. There are food and antique markets nearby.

The Key to Bordeaux is unusually spacious for a two bedroom apartment in the historic centre. It's very close to the famous Place de la Bourse, which is one of the most iconic images of Bordeaux. It's just one street back from the river, and the linear park that runs along it.
In the square around the corner you can eat a delicious meal, purchase an excellent selection of wine, or admire one of the ancient city gates, Porte Cailhau.
In the small surrounding streets are hundreds of boutique shops, wine bars, cafes, restaurants and artisans workshops. On the weekend, on the quay nearby, is the largest antique and second hand market in the region.
