Waterfront Home Newly remodeled with Amish - made furniture and updated appliances.
Family or adult get-away fun! Approx 2,000 total square foot beach front house on breathtaking Lake Nokomis. The cottage sleeps 16 and has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, main floor laundry, open kitchen with full size appliances, large kitchen table, and fireplace in the family room. Nokomis Lake Aire Beach House puts you right where you want to be. It is a Great location for all four seasons that provides relaxation, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, and ATV riding. Snowmobile, ATV, hiking, biking, cross country skiing trails leave right from the cottage so there is no trailering or traveling needed to reach trails. A short drive will bring you to Granite Peak Ski Hill for down hill skiing.
Lake Nokomis is approx 2,500 acres and part of approx 4,000 acre chain of lakes featuring a sand bottom, gradual dropping water depth, and abundant beauty. Fishing opportunities provide Muskie, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and
Northern Pike. During the hot days of Summer enjoy waterskiing, tubing, jet skiing, swimming, or going for a relaxing pontoon boat ride on the lake.

Pontoon boats, kayaks, and paddle board rentals are available on site.

Additional 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 5, 3 bedroom cottage sleeps 7, and a 24 guest room Log Resort Centerstone Hotel are available on grounds to accommodate large groups.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed queen on bottom single on top, Bedroom 3 has 2 queens and a bunk bed queen on bottom single on top, Bedroom 4 has a queen bed, Bedroom 5 has a queen bed. This fully furnished 5 bedroom 2.5 bath beach home offers you the comfort and amenities that will make your stay a pleasure as you unwind from the day's fun. Perfect for families and groups on a get-away with a central location just 2 hours from Green Bay, 2 1/2 hours from Madison, 3 1/2 hours from Milwaukee, and 3 1/2 hours from Minneapolis, MN.
If more room is needed for large groups there are also 2 additional cabins and a 24 guest room Log Resort Centerstone Hotel on the properties. The cabins are a 2 bedroom, and a 3 bedroom.

Overall, everything was good. Had an issue with wasps in the steps going down to the water. Would clean up the landscaping a little, so overgrown in the back, takes away from the beauty. Nice place, enjoyed our stay.

Nice Place

Very nice place. Lots of beds. Great location. We had a few problems and Amanda was super quick to respond. You have a private pier that holds 2 boats & u can fish off of it. They have 10-12 brand new sling chairs around the fire pit. The kitchen is very well equipped & lots of spices in the cabinet. We spent a week and really enjoyed it.

We do have some exciting improvements to look forward to in the near future, such as: renovations of the two main level bathrooms and the addition of the lovely Amish log furniture in the lower level. We had a great stay

We stayed at this house with a large group. We enjoyed our time on the lake and hanging out on the property. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working, but someone was sent to fix it right away. We really enjoyed the area and hope to return.

Great location

This property was excellent location. Fishing was the best we ever had 👍bars and stores close to the property . The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for all of our guests. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Nice new dock too.

Lake fun

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Nokomis lake cabin. The house provides enough space for 8 adults to spend a week together. The back yard and deck provide additional space. The cabin provides great access to Lake Nokomis.

Second times a charm!

We had a large group stay at the property and it was a fantastic time. The property is comfy and everything is easily accessible. We enjoyed being right on the lake, having our own fire pit for relaxing in the evening, and docks for the boats. The owners are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend for your friend/family northwoods lake vacation.

Nope

This house should not be advertised as sleeping 16 people. The rooms in the basement have no windows and it is difficult to believe that it even passes code! It was like sleeping in a dungeon. Overall, the property was ok, clean enough but the sleeping arrangement was poor. We would not return to this property.

Summer vacation

10 of us stayed in the house for a family reunion week. The house and property worked wonderfully! Everyone had a real bed to sleep in - no air mattresses to blow up. The house itself is not large - but it was big enough for our group. The grounds are lovely, with a great firepit. We were able to bring our own boat, and keep it on the dock below the house. There was plenty of parking for our 5 cars - and even our boat trailer. Stacy answered any questions promptly. And of course, Lake Nokomis was spectacular - we has our resident loon living right off the dock. We have already booked our family reunion for 2021!

Wonderful!

Our family had a great vacation at this property. We especially loved the private fire pit and dock, the large grass area for outdoor games, the friendly staff, the outdoor grill and the fact that the house could accommodate so many people. Dale and Stacy were great at answering questions in a timely manner and were a pleasure to work with. The lake was beautiful for swimming, boating and fishing. We will definitely return. My family and I would also like to send much love and gratitude to our “neighbors” in the cabin next to the house. They graciously gifted us a pontoon rental for a day simply because we did what anyone would do, we let them use the dock at our rental to board their boat (“mom” was 91 years young and wasn’t able to go down the steep steps where the resort’s boats were docked). It was a heartwarming reminder to #SpreadLove and #PayItForward.

The house and beach did not look like pictures on website

Beautiful location but the photos online were very misleading. Pictures showed views that were not on location (resort next store) and a prestine beach that did not refelect the actual beach . We came from Louisville, Chicago a long distance and there were not as many rooms as reported online. Two bedrooms could not be legally called bedrooms because they had only one exit and were beds in a concrete wall basement with no windows with little to no furniture. Those bedrooms were not shown online. The owner was able to come up with a cabin that had two extra beds (one bedroom) that really made the difference. Helped make the trip doable. It would have helped us in our decision making if the website accurately reflected what the home actually looked like

Thank you for your review, we are always looking for ways to make improvements. All of the photos posted on line are from the Lake House that reflect the new and beautiful Amish furnishings. Additionally, it also reflects the views from the windows of Lake Nokomis which has 97 miles of shoreline, which our guests enjoy smiles for miles with fishing and watersports. The Lake House is nestled within the Northwoods on our resort. All amenities are shared throughout the resort. Such as: sand volleyball, decks overlooking the lake, and an amazing team to assist with any circumstance. Firewood, is available for purchase and kayaks, paddleboards and pontoon boats are available for rent. We did recently complete construction on the lower level with the addition of the two bedrooms and family room. All of our Amish furniture had not yet arrived for the new space, however, temporary beds with our memory foam mattresses were in the bedrooms. We were happy to accommodate your needs by providing you the additional cabin. Thank you again for your feedback! Dale and Stacy

Relaxed vacation and great fishing

Rented for a few nights spur of the moment. Friends were staying at the close by hotel for a wedding and they mentioned a cottage for rent. Checked it out and headed up with 3 total families. Impressed by the well maintained cottage and cleanliness. The view out of the hexagon style living and dining room was very comforting. The kids and adults were in and out of the house a lot and on the wraparound deck. We were close to our friends in the hotel and shared a fire one night. The weather wasn't the best for us but we did manage to rent the newer pontoon boat and did some sightseeing on the large lake. Great fishing right off the dock. Enough perch for fish tacos. We have all been up to the Tomahawk/Alice Lake area before and find it has just the right mix of civilization and 'up north' charm. The owner is very responsive. We thought we were out of toilet paper the 2nd night and I texted him. Found out it was in the one place we didn't look. Kinda would've liked a master bathroom but never had any congestion since there are two bathrooms side by side to use.
