Originally from Poland and Mexico, we first visited this region some twenty years ago and had moved here permanently within the following few years. Having lived in several different countries, we truly enjoy traveling and meeting like-minded and interesting people from all over the world. Lake Maggiore, and the Lake District in general, is a great place to call home and makes for a wonderful holiday destination, offering a variety of fun and exciting activities at any time of the year, including mountain biking, hiking, sailing and skiing, just to name a few. In addition to the area’s breathtaking natural beauty, the region is also incredibly rich in history and offers lots of wonderful cultural attractions, from medieval castles and amazing palaces overlooking the lakes to world-class museums and numerous architectural wonders in Milan, Como, Bergamo and other nearby cities. One of the best features of the Lake District is its central location and its proximity to so many other popular and famous destinations. Within just a few hours drive one can soak up the sun on the beaches of the French Riviera, taste some of the world’s finest wines in beautiful Tuscany and enjoy truly spectacular alpine scenery while hiking around the Dolomites. Throw in a relatively pleasant climate, all the incredible food and the most delicious gelato and it’s easy to see why this is one of the nicest and most livable regions anywhere in the world.

Being one of the few modern properties in Magognino, our apartment boasts several useful and practical amenities which aren’t always readily available within the region. Most impressive of those is the wonderful spacious terrace which offers stunning panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. A private garage on the premises, an elevator and a floor heating system are some of the other features that make our property stand out from most others in the area. The property’s location is also quite particular, offering both peace and tranquility as well as quick and convenient access to some of the area’s most popular attractions.
