Charming Cozy Cottage with Stunning Views - Minutes from Manchester and Dorset

Fully renovated, this cottage features a large kitchen with everything needed to prepare all kinds of meals. In addition to the cottage, the seasonal She Shed, and a one car garage are available for you. (The room above the garage you see in the photo is storage only.)

All paper products for kitchen and bathrooms are included. Soft water and UV water filtration systems. Full laundry room - all soaps and other items included. Three bedrooms and two full baths, including a tub and new five foot oversized walk in shower with plenty of hot water. High quality towels, sheets (flannel in colder months), pillows, and brand new beds.

There are plenty of books, original art, new furnishings, Direct HD TV, Netflix, and Hi- Speed fiber optic WIFI. Five different outdoor living spaces include a front deck, screened in porch, covered porch, and a large open back patio and a new She Shed - all with seating. The large back yard is perfect for provided badminton, croquet, and many other fun activities.

A new extra wide and deep stairway to deck and front door make access easy for all ages. A wide driveway allows for four cars, and a one car garage for storage is available.

A path to McGinnis Brook and access to Green Mountain Forest walking trails on property. The street is well known for walkers, bikers, and runners.

The cottage is seven minutes from the summer Horse Show and a few more from there have you in Manchester or Dorset town centers. Horse trailer parking is INCLUDED-location next door.

DOGS ARE WELCOME based on breed - no kitties though please.

Please note that there is a maximum of six people including children for stays. Please review the bed descriptions for each bedroom to assure that the cottage is a good fit for you!

Awesome Spot

This home was in such a cool location. The mountain in the backyard with trails was awesome for hiking. The house itself was super clean and very inviting. The owner was excellent with communication. You couldn’t ask for more in a VRBO!

Beautiful cottage get-a-way

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Quiet, tranquil setting. Even though it rained-poured for our 3 days there, we made the most of it. I knitted while my husband went out to fish and Cooper, our dog, kept me company. Property as described. Loved that there was two bathrooms and many sleeping accommodations. The inside decor was beautiful. Lots of great potential for the outside, as we r landscapers, and notice stuff like that. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Vermont Getaway

My family and some extended family went for a weekend getaway to visit friends who lived near-by in Dorset. The house was beautiful and exactly like it is described in the listing. Our host Susan was wonderful, she was quick to answer any questions i had and left us some delicious muffins .

Gorgeous mountain top retreat

The house is beautiful and full of thoughtful amenities. Host was very responsive and had the heat and lights on for us as we were arriving after dark. Will definitely be staying again!

Snowy Ski Family Weekend with dogs

This beautiful cottage and its wonderful owner were both amazing. The cottage is roomy, welcoming, well maintained, clean. well stocked and a perfect getaway. The owner asked what time we were going skiing, and then had the driveway cleared for us. Communication with the owner was easy and immediate. We highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Stay at the cottage!

The cottage was wonderful- beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout! The host provided many amenities and the kitchen and baths were well stocked. She thought of everything! Checkin and checkout were easy. We especially enjoyed trying the selection of exotic teas which were amazing! The location was nice and private. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Perfect leaf peeping weekend

The Cozy Cottage was warm and spotless with everything we needed for comfortable weekend. The host was so friendly and accommodating and even had supplies for our dog. The location was quiet and peaceful. There were lots of places to hike . Manchester had good stores and restaurants. This is one of our favorite VRBO homes!

Summer getaway

We loved staying here. It was the perfect location for day trips and hiking. It was very clean and had beautiful views. The dogs loved it! We are looking forward to staying here again.

Summer In Vermont

Our family of four had an amazing time staying at the Cottage. Susan was a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us feel at home. The Cottage was even better in person, and the area exceeded our (lofty) expectations. We are already dreaming about coming again next summer (if not sooner).

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect- comfortable, excellent location and Susan has the house stocked with everything you could need. We also enjoyed the easy access to hiking trails. We will plan to stay here again on our next trip to Vermont.

Beautiful location, great hosts

We had a lovely week at the cottage. It’s wonderfully laid out and comfortable… with its own secluded space but not toooo far from things. The house is well appointed with the basics, and set up for easy finding. Plus, it’s far enough from the traffic of Manchester, which for us was a bonus. A prefect spot.

Fairy dust

It really did feel like someone had sprinkled fairy dust over this gorgeous cottage. It’s just stunning. Beautiful crockery, bedding and interiors. Short drive to Manchester which worked well for us even on the snowy days. Susan was very helpful. We would love to return one day.

Family Vacation

A great location to access a few different mountains over a quick few days in VT. The house was perfect. Clean, charming and with every detail considered. The owner even baked us a pumpkin bread!! A great stay and we are looking forward to returning again!

Perfect Cottage

Tucked away off the beaten path we were able to experience a true Vermont feeling. Enjoyed a great hike behind the home too. Home was very very clean and had everything we needed. Just felt like the perfect Vermont experience. Was close to the town of Manchester which is amazing. Owner was so kind and responsive and even offered to let me borrow a pair of fancy shoes for a wedding we were going too!

Just right for our mini-vacation.

The cottage is welcoming, comfortable & well provisioned. The host is very pleasant, helpful & responsive. The location is quiet & scenic & well situated, 30 minutes to Manchester/Dorset for the shoppers & 30 minutes to Stratton for the skiers. Our dog also enjoyed her stay! Thank you.

I have been hosting for over seven years and I am extremely proud of the consecutive five star ratings of my cottage. I value the quality of your stay and your investment to be there. I keep the cottage extremely clean, and make sure to update the bedding, replace pillows 2-3 times a year, and have the entire interior deep cleaned twice per year.

The fully equipped kitchen allows for every cooking need, along with a fully stocked laundry room. I enjoy knowing that guests will never run out of any paper product, and have the "medicine" cabinet in the master bathroom full of many things you many need or have forgotten to pack.

I have many types of teas for you to enjoy, along with other items for coffee, and always have something delicious baked goods there for you when you arrive.

I know how it feels to look forward to a stay away from home, and my goal is to have your expectations meet my own!
