Comfy stay, convenient and nice!

Ski trip

The property was very clean and comfortable and perfectly situated for skiing on the mountain. John was very easy to work with. It is the first floor apartment so there is noise from the upstairs guests.

Family Ski trip

Very comfortable living room. Kitchen small but very well laid out. Extremely handy to have outside covered porch to leave ski equipment. Beds were comfortable - particularly the double under the bunk bed - best mattress ever! John was very flexible and accommodating. Walk to trail was easy and we could often ski back on road right to house. Would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!

Great stay

Stayed at here over MLK weekend. Place was perfect for our family of four. Five minute walk to Sachem Trail. Look forward to coming back again soon!

Okemo ski weekend

My young family had a wonderful long weekend staying in this apartment. It was clean and comfortable. John and his wife were very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to returning!

The picture is misleading and its overpriced

My major issue with this property is the listing and the fee charged for the space. It is misleading! Based on the photograph you are lead to believe that this is a house you are renting but you end up with a lower level apartment. Im grateful that the first renters upstairs were quiet but at the end of the week a group came in that sounded like they were wrestling upstairs. The interior was dated but OK but would recommend that John puts new mattresses on. The fireplace was nice to warm the space up quickly and the coach was comforatable. The walk down to the lower level the first day was icy and then turned to mud so would recommend that ice melt is left to make it safe and put some pavers down to help reduce the exposure to the mud in the walkway.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the home. It is a short uphill walk to the slopes. The home is on a very steep road: for those not familiar with okemo, 4wd is highly recommended in winter. The rental is actually the lower unit in the home. Being an older timber home, if there are people in the upper unit, be prepared to hear muffled voices and footsteps. Great place to enjoy some time skiing okemo- we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful ski in ski out home

We had a wonderful stay here! One day was icy and John was very responsive, and got the driveway sanded. The location was great, Sachem was a just a few steps away. Beds were very comfortable and we used the stove and oven every day. As a family of four, we appreciated the nicer appliances!

Great Experience

John was a great host and the spot was absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful experience and John is an absolute great host. We were affected by freezing temperatures and left early, so John has been willing to let us re-schedule. A great location, exactly as promised. Clean / great fire place AND a great, thoughtful renter. Would strongly recommend for anyone who wants to have easy access to mountain and a great spot. Worth every dollar.

Wonderful escape

The gas fire place in the living room was amazing! I could have spent the whole time in the couch reading next to it. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, except we couldn’t locate a frying pan so that would be a good thing to add. The driving directions were appreciated and easy to follow. Access to the Sachem trail was simple, just a small uphill walk and we were on the slopes! Thanks for a great stay!
