Our stay was excellent! Host communication was great throughout, location can't get any better. Right across the street from Kam II beach, very short walk to either Kam I and Kam III. Lots of shops and restaurants either within walking distance or very short drive. Everything in the condo was nice and clean, quiet, and private. Thank you!

Would definitely stay here again! The place had everything we needed, including plenty of towels, beach chairs, dish soap, and a few laundry pods. The ground floor lanai is elevated from ground level so it was lovely and quiet. Not an issue for us but for others to note- there are about 10 stairs to get to the unit and no elevator. Great place!!

VERY nice accommodation. The condo is in great condition with a comfortable bed, couch, indoor and outdoor tables and chairs. We used a very limited amount of kitchen items since we made it to the island eateries all over the place, but, more often than not, it was Fred’s for breakfast (I left two coupons from receipts for a free breakfast when you buy one). It’s right next door! We used two of the three beach chairs and umbrella provided. The 3rd chair has a broken clip on it. It’s a pretty quiet place, being at the rear of the complex, away from the busy street, even though it becomes pretty quiet on the streets after 10. In our 2 week stay, the washer/dryer was used once. The very nicely updated bathroom was used almost daily. Our TV (2) use was very limited since we bought our iPads. Electronic door entry made it nice not to lug a key around. I wanted to adjust the picture frames on the wall, but, was afraid they might fall apart since they appeared to be self destructing with the faint salt air moving through the complex, year after year! I’ve rented three different condos in this complex through the years and I can easily say this is hands down the best one. Even though it’s on the ground floor, the building is on higher ground than all the others in the complex. Bring your luggage in to the condo on the far side ramp of the building so you don’t wear your luggage down walking them up a double stairway. The lanai faces the sun-NICE! Thank you!
Watch out for the newts who want to move in! He’s a small one.

The place was clean and a wonderful location. Some coffee and shampoo in the unit would have made for a more comfortable stay, especially since many flights arrive late at night. Mahalo.

Great Unit, quiet location, but easy walking to great restaurants, shopping and beaches, high end lockbox so avoided having to keep track of keys, washer and dryer in the unit a huge plus. Quality bedding, towels, etc. Highly recommend this condo.

Had a great stay overall

Overall I was very pleased with my stay here. The check-in process and process for getting a parking pass were both very straightforward. The condo was lovely and spacious, and fully equipped with everything I needed.My one problem was that when I went to take a shower my first night, the shower seemed dirty and there was hair from (I assume) the previous guest covering the tiles, so it looked like the cleaners forgot to clean the shower. I had contacted the owner about it per the condo's instructions but never received a response. Because of this I just opted to clean it myself. Aside from the shower, the rest of the condo was very clean.A quick note (this did not affect my review): the listing mentions air conditioning but I did not see any air conditioning units in the condo. There are several ceiling fans throughout, and a portable fan in the bedroom. With the windows open for a nice cross-breeze I did not have any problems with the lack of air conditioning, but if you tend to overheat this may be something to consider.Overall I had a very nice stay and would come back again!

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days and we found it fantastic. Near restaurants and beaches. The condo had everything we needed from beach chairs, to an umbrella and a cooler for drinks. The condo was clean and well set up. Yes it had ac and it worked fantastically. The washer and dryer was great as well. The fridge had an ice maker and even some cold packs for the cooler. We will definitely try and rent again from here for future visits.Mahalo

Great location

Easy walking distance to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The property manager was great to work with as we needed to extend our stay by 4 nights. We would rate this property at a 4.5. Very little hot water in the shower and since we don’t use streaming services, we had very limited access to TV programs.

Condo was well kept. It has everything we needed. Check in was easy. Great location, close to beaches. Shopping and dining were in walking distance from condo. Condo was set back from South Kihei road, so not much traffic noise, but close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing. Pool was great.

My quiet retreat

I enjoyed having this condo during our family get-together. It gave me a quiet retreat where I had all the luxuries of home and could still walk along the adjacent beach or pick up coffee in a local store. A good location to walkable stores as well as the beach.

Finding this condo unit in the dark was not fun. The number 8 on the building is hidden behind palm branches. It is not well lit from the front. Overall we enjoyed the unit. Very nice having the washer and dryer!

Spring break getaway

Nice quiet place. Condo is at back of property so didn’t hear traffic noise. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here in the future:)

Kihei Kai Nani #160

We were here for Oct, Nov 2022. We appreciate Kihei Kai Nani for the easy beach access and central position for getting to the other beaches up and down the coast. The complex is older, meaning the landscaping is traditional and mature. Pool is great. Management is very professional. Parking is free here. The unit meets our expectations, lots of cookware, up to date TV's and internet. The owners kept in touch with us with the few questions asked by us. All good, no surprises or complaints.

We are long-time friends -- an internet librarian and a youth counselor -- who have known each other for years and now have been able to make our dreams of a Maui home come true. Each of us looks forward to staying in the condo with our own families and friends and hope you enjoy our Maui home as much as we do!

Our families have stayed in Kihei Kai Nani since we were small; and many of our favorite memories have taken place right here, in these fantastic gardens and on the green lawn in front of Building 8, definitely playing in the surf of Beach 3 and snorkeling at the point directly in front of Kihei Kai Nani by Kamaole 2 Beach Park.

We really like the fact that Condo 160 is at the rear of Kihei Kai Nani in Building 8, where it is quiet, and that it opens onto the green lawn. The beach is only a minute away, and we have our own place away from the bustle. The condo is clean and comfortable. It is restful and makes a wonderful, centrally located home- away-from-home for a memorable visit to the island.
