Cosy cottage well situated to explore the High Weald

We have stayed in many cottages across the UK and I have to say this is one of the best equipped and maintained we have visited - well done to the owners they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Lovely Cottage

A cosy cottage with a ‘home from home’ ambience. Caroline & Mark have thought of everything; a well equipped kitchen, lots of reading material relating to the locale, maps, walks and games. We wished we had booked for a longer stay, but intend to return in order to visit the many places of interest that are close by.

Comfortable Cottage in the heart of Kent

Church View Cottage is a carefully furnished cottage with a great attention to detail. Every comfort has been considered and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our week in Kent and Sussex. We highly recommend this accommodation. Parking behind the church is not a big issue and sound proofing is very good on the main road.

Super stay at Church View Cottage

We had a wonderful week at Church View cottage. Caroline and Mark were super hosts and we felt truly spoiled with the lovely welcome gifts. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to spend time here and I would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a Kentish getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Exceptional property….small cottage with everything you could wish for….and more!

There is nothing negative I could say about this lovely cottage, full of character & well equipped with high quality furnishings & equipment. I accidentally left my Kindle behind & Caroline (owner) very kindly posted it back to me free of charge. I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone & have already recommended it to some friends.

Kent Cottage

A tastefully decorated, spotless village cottage with everything you need for a few days holiday. There is a pub over the road if you don’t feel like cooking and local shops to buy food if you do. On Wednesdays the pizza van stops down the road. Situated in an area where there is everything from vineyards to manor houses, castles to gardens and many country walks I really am not sure why we have not spent time in Kent before. We would certainly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Church View Cottage and will definitely be booking again. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and is located in the gorgeous village of Goudhurst which has a wonderful bakery. We stayed with our dogs and found some brilliant walks with gorgeous views. Caroline was so helpful throughout the stay and left a welcome basket full of goodies for us and the dogs. We were a party of 4 Adults and Church View Cottage is a great little cottage, location perfect for exploring the amazing area, which has plenty to do for all ages. The cottage is in a small village with shop, newsagent and pub, the closest supermarket is Cranbrook and there are several farm shops close by. There is a narrow road at the front of the cottage which lorries try and navigate, this entertained us no end, with a few having to really squeeze past each other or back up. The cottage was spotlessly clean and fresh and the best equipped place we have stayed, the extras including Fizz, milk, chocolates, bread, biscuits, flowers etc were such a nice touch and I was envious of the very tasteful decor and furnishings. We ate (outside) in a few pubs and would recommend the Goudhurst Inn and The Three Chimneys. Go Ape at Bedgebury park was a highlight for us, as was the walk from The cottage (7 miles of beautiful countryside). Communication from Mark and Caroline was perfect, great instructions for all appliances and local info provided. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped to a high standard. Kitchen equipment - pans, knives, crockery, etc was all top quality. The welcome hamper with treats was a lovely surprise. The view from the top bedroom over the surrounding countryside was breath-taking and the view from the sitting room across to the church was lovely, especially in the evenings when the church was illuminated. Good local shops and lots to do in the area. Only minor disadvantage was the traffic manoeuvring round the bend near the cottage but as we were out during the day, this wasn't a problem. A real find. We had a lovely stay at Church View Cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Church View Cottage. The owners are very thoughtful and considerate. They emailed detailed arrival and parking instructions a few days before and the cottage itself is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. My teenage daughter chose it on the basis of the lovely photos and you won't be disappointed as the cottage is beautiful throughout. The view from the top bedroom is super. It is also really well placed for some great walking with a pathway behind the church. Sissinghurst is also only six miles away. We had a good meal at the pub across the road. The owners left a super welcome pack with generous supplies and also some ice creams in the freezer which was a lovely touch. Thank you. Book with confidence! Helen.
