Very good location, a short stroll from city centre. Accommodation had everything required for a short city break. Clean and comfortable in a very quiet street with adequate parking.

Long weekend in York

The accommodation in York was situated in a very quiet, terraced street with parking almost outside. It was hard to believe we were only 5 minutes walk across the bridge to the centre of York. The house was very clean and modernised inside with all we needed for an excellent break. We hope to return there again in the near future.

Fantastically placed home

An incredible little house with everything you could want in it. In walking distance of everything in York and in a quiet street- which is easy to drive to when you first arrive. Plenty of parking. Superb holiday home which we highly recommend. We will definitely go back for a third stay.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay! Good communication with the property management prior to visit. The property is in a great location with good facilities. Only downside was that there was a small amount of rubbish (used tissues) on the floor in the corner of the back bedroom and there were 2 large bags of rubbish in the back yard from previous occupants.

A very late 3 day booking. Simple and comfortable little place in a really excellent location for exploring York on foot. Free parking outside property in quiet no through road despite its location was a real plus. Decor is modern and neutral The outside garden/courtyard area however is nothing more than a small narrow strip adjoining the kitchen and bathroom presumably all that's left after extending into the once garden, it was nice to be able to open the door to this area to let the fresh air in but its not a place to enjoyably sit out in really. 3 or 4 min walk to a supermarket for provisions.

Perfect for a short break

Small but perfectly formed! We stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). Great location, very clean and all the home comforts you need for a city break. On street parking was great, but the street is very narrow so a bit of a squeeze for wider cars. All and all, a great place to stay.

Great location: Close to town centre and amenities

A few minutes walk to the city centre. 3 nice pubs 1min walk away 2 minutes walk to Sainsbury's local. Small cottage, ideal for family of 4. Well decorated, with new bathroom. Strong shower. The only downside is that it has one toilet/bathroom on the ground floor.

Perfect short term rental

Buckingham St has been the perfect home for us during our own home renovation and it's been wonderful to have the flexibility of being able to stay longer at short notice. It's a lovely little house and very well equipped for everyday living!

Excellent property near the centre of York

Family of 4 enjoyed stay at this property, 5 minutes from the centre of York. Very clean, comfortable and modern with good wifi. It's small with a tiny backyard (that could do with a bit of attention) but perfect for what we wanted. Excellent shower and good kitchen facilities.
