The property was fantastic! Very clean, well-located and breakfast and daily cleaning were a huge plus. We loved using the hot tub at the end of our sightseeing days. The owner helped us organize a private chef for a dinner in the villa, which was fabulous! We were a group of 7 and the property was large and comfortable for our group. We highly recommend this property for a vacation in Amalfi!

Beautiful Home

We loved everything about this home! The location overlooking the sea was close to everything in Amalfi-docks, central square, bus stops, etc. The home was beautifully renovated, decorated, and clean. I plan on going back next summer!

Amore Rentals team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in every way! Their service was next level and the house was unbelievably beautiful!! They made breakfast for us every morning, delivered our suitcases up the mountain, and helped us arrange our transport, making it feel like we were in a private resort. We would 100% recommend staying here if you’re coming to Amalfi! Thank you again so much for everything! We had the best time and were so grateful for all you did to make our trip unforgettable!

Sweet paradise in Amalfi

Overall, our stay was amazing. Domenico was a very gracious host and promptly responded to all requests. The house, along with the great breakfasts from the staff, added to the sweet and beautiful memories we will have from our trip. Guests with mobility challenges may have a harder time navigating the steps to the house, but there are landings along the way to rest. If y

extraordinary and outstanding

We have stayed in rental vacation homes all over the world. Without question, Palazzo Casanova is the most extraordinary and outstanding property we have ever had the good fortune to rent. The rental company was incredible responsive. Domenico and his staff took excellent care of us. And the home itself is spectacular- spacious, refined, and elegant, yet comfortable and cozy. The house is easily accessible via the public elevator. Once inside, it is private and extremely well-equipped. Amalfi is a perfect location from which to explore Pompeii and Naples, anywhere along the coast.

We loved this place! The host was very responsive my entire trip however Amore did take awhile to respond to emails ahead of time. There are quite a few stairs to get to the place but the host carried our luggage both ways for us and there was an elevator that helped for part of the way as well. The host helped us set up anything we need with a moments notice during our stay. The breakfast was simple but a nice addition. There are no blinds but worth it to see the wonderful view, we had our kids use eye masks. Would definitely stay again! When you're in town, visit Taverna Buonvicino and L'Abside. The service was unmatched at both places for us and our four children. Highly recommend a private boat to Capri as well an the beach club and restaurant at Marina Grande in Amalfi.

Our stay at Palazzo Casanova was absolutely perfect and exceeded all of our expectations

Our stay at Palazzo Casanova was absolutely perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. It was ideal for our family of 8 adults and 2 infants. The location felt private and peaceful, yet was conveniently close to town—an elevator made getting into the center of Amalfi easy and accessible. The space itself was stunning: clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. We especially loved the spacious patio with its breathtaking views of Amalfi—truly a highlight of our stay. Domenico was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He was flexible with our check-in, personally greeted us on arrival, and even helped carry our luggage up to the villa. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. The ladies who came each morning to serve breakfast and coffee were also lovely and added such a special touch to our experience. Highly, highly recommend—we’d return in a heartbeat!

Dominico’s place Is impeccable and has the best view in Amalfi. The staff come daily make breakfast and leave the place spotless. The interior is very modernized for a historic house. It takes 2-3 mins to walk down the stairs to beach and amalfi center. The walk up is about 5-7 mins depending if you use partial elevatorfull stairs.

Domenico was a great host. He helped out everyday. Just FYI you need to use the elevator to access the property. It only operates 8am-midnight so plan accordingly. Overall the home is beautiful and the host amazing

The villa and service were great! Every morning we had a light breakfast prepared for us, and housekeeping cleaned our rooms every day. Claudia and Maria were very pleasant and made sure we were always well taken care of.

Book this house!

What an amazing house. The views are absolutely breathtaking! It was perfect for our family( 7 adults) and a great home base for the Amalfi Coast. There is a lift that will take you up and down between 8 am and midnight which is tremendously helpful. However, there are still some stairs you will need to take. I only took the stairs down once and I don’t think I would have done so well taking them up! As long as you are steady on your feet, the stairs after the elevator are totally worth it. Domenico was a 5 star host and the rental team were good with quick responses. We had a chef come to the house to cook dinner one night, and they were so helpful with the arranging of it. The picture of the “tub” is a little misleading. It is not a pool, it is a hot tub but our family definitely enjoyed that. The housekeeper came each morning and it was wonderful to come home to a tidy house. The AC was great as it was really hot when we were there. Domenico was so helpful and quick with responses if any questions or problems came up during our stay. I can’t recommend this house enough. I miss it already and it helped make such a special memory for our family.

Best Villa + Experience

The villa itself is stunning, historical, well located, and has the most amazing views and amenities. The best part of the villa is the owner, Domenico. The villa is his labor of love that has been in his family for generations. He is so welcoming, responsive, and accommodating, and has thought of every detail that makes staying at this villa better than many of the best hotels I have stayed at. It is well-stocked, just need some groceries if not eating out all the time (which you can pre-order to be delivered or easily pick up yourself in the piazza). There is a laundry room, iron, hair dryers, espresso machine for a variety of drinks (stocked with coffee), and a well equipped kitchen to cook and eat in. Each morning there were two staff people that came by to set up a sweet Italian breakfast on the terrace, prepare coffee drinks, and maintain and clean the villa. The location is right on the coast steps from the piazza and beach club. The villa is very high up (hence the stunning views) so you will need to use the public lift (which was open morning until midnight daily during our stay) or take about 300 steps! You can coordinate things on your own (we used Mondo Guide), Amore Rentals (we pre-ordered some groceries and coordinated chef services - Amore is the management company and coordinates with Domenico), or get suggestions from Domenico.

I don't know where to start when describing this property

I don't know where to start when describing this property. It is the most unique and gorgeous home that we have ever seen, had the good fortune to stay in.. It is located on the top of a "mountain" right behind the main cathedral and only a block from the main square in town. Because it is high up the views are spectacular and you can see all of Amalfi from the wrap around decks and from the bedrooms. We thought we were living in a postcard. The apartment itself is gorgeous and has a wonderful history. Each room is carefully thought out and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were very very comfortable and the adjoining bathrooms were perfect. The owner, Domenico, is amazing. He is there with staff to help you with anything you needwant, starting with the check in. Our stay included breakfast and maid service, which was fabulous. This property is so unique that it is a bit difficult to get to- it requires navigating an elevator and some steps, which Domenico and his staff assist with when you have luggage so it's not a problem. We are all seasoned travelers and this property truly blew us away.

Villa Casanova was absolutely beautiful and everything we were hoping it would be based on the pictu

Villa Casanova was absolutely beautiful and everything we were hoping it would be based on the pictures we saw on the website. The owners were wonderful and very helpful with logistics and restaurant suggestions. The outside area was also incredible with stunning views. The location was very convenient and only 5 minutes from the center of Amalfi. We were able to reach Praiano easily by water taxis. Positano was 40 minutes away and easy to access via taxiscooters. The housekeeper was lovely and was there everyday to deliver breakfast and clean the villa. We would definitely come back here to stay.
