We stayed here as a family of 9 and this apartment was perfect for us. We enjoyed the vibe of the neighborhood, graffiti and all. Plenty of chilled bars and restaurants. Lots of cafe and bakery options, with a convenient mini market just downstairs for any last minute needs. It's only a 5min walk to the National Archaeological Museum, which is also a stop for the hop-on-hop-off city sightseeing tour buses. It's also an easy10min walk from the Victoria subway. Although this apartment doesn't have a formal living room, the large dining table with plenty of chairs was where we would hang out. And the veranda was super pleasant to sit out on in the evenings after a day out and about - and yes you can see the Acropolis!
The host, Theodoros, had great recommendations for restaurants and cafes. He was very prompt with his responses/answers to any questions we had. He helped to organize our airport and ferry port transfers and private mini bus to Cape Sounio (Temple of Poseidon).
If you are looking for a place to suit a large group away from the congested touristy areas, this is the place for you.
