Thanks for taking the time to review us Wendy and I'm pleased you enjoyed our serene location. I'm sorry you found our kitchen equipment to be lacking - perhaps you can write to us to let us know what you think is missing from this extensive list of tool and equipment that is found in each lodge: ancarraiglodges. com/kitchen-inventory. Most lodges do indeed have heated towel rails, and we are working to restore the remaining ones which were removed for safety reasons - I appreciate this would have been a bonus for you. Best wishes, The Ancarraig Team.

Great place to stay near Loch Ness

A great place to stay. We stayed in August with the family. The cabin was fabulous, set in some lovely grounds (looked after in a really wildlife friendly way to conserve the wild orchids in the lawn - well done Allan the Groundskeeper). Well equipped, clean and private. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Storage in the cabin was a bit limited - maybe some shelves in the wardrobe would make better use of the bedroom space and perhaps an extra cupboard of shelves in the kitchen and bathroom.

A Wonderful Haven

We absolutely loved our time at the lodge. It was quiet, restful and the surroundings are so beautiful. We loved seeing all the baby toads around the estate too! The manager was so lovely and welcoming. It really is a find. The village is close by and well equipped and you're also so close to do many things to do with the family, even during this difficult time. We will definitely love to come back in the future.

Sehr schönes Holzhaus in toller Umgebung

Booking and payment easy. Contact throughout. Signposted well. Location and property AMAZING!!

Everything was so simple to book, pay, find and check in. Lots of contact throughout. What a fantastic place to stay and the lodge was superb! Everything you need and more, so cozy and the views were fantastic. Only regret we didn’t book for longer. Already planning to go back next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful lodge.

Dog friendly remote cabin

Really enjoyed our stay. Dog friendly. Remote feeling. Plentiful kitchen to make food at the cabin. Bathroom could do with a touch of renovation but in working order and useable. Log fire got the cabin toasty on a chilly night. Would stay again.
