Apartment Italy in Mostar

Four of us stayed here and we loved it. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - right in town yet quiet at night; a short stroll to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a great view of town and listening to the call to prayer. The communication from renting to check in was informative and timely.

Wonderful location and terrific host!

The apartment is located very close to the old bridge and several fine restaurants. Our host met us at the apartment is well-stocked. The AC works well, and it was quiet. Thanks, Jill

Heart of Mostar

This was a lovely property with a wonderful view in an excellent position. Our experience was marred by problems with the washing machine and a lack of help with this. A more straight forward check in process would have helped. The accomodation is difficult to find and parking is possible but difficult. Despite this we loved our stay. The balcony is amazing!

Don’t rent this

Our host never showed up to let us in to the apartment! We had to walk around until we found a hotel. What a disaster! Went to the street where apartment was supposed to be 61 Brace Fejica doesn’t seem to exist. No signs or numbers. We searched for 45 minutes and asked shop keepers if they knew where it was. They even tried to search for Apartment Italy on their phones. No one knew where it was and we tried to contact host. We did not have a SIM card that allowed us to call the host for further directions. Very dissatisfied.

Guest did not show up for check in on the day of arrival. Guest received 2 emails and 3 messages on Vrbo inbox which were left without any reply. Guests provided phone number that was disabled and he did not send us any messages. We can't accommodate guests who are not replying to messages they received because we do not know their time of arrival.

Amazing stay in a beautiful, well-maintained home

This was one of my husband and my favourite stays in the Balkans - the property is in a perfect location to explore Mostar by foot. It has a beautiful balcony that you can sit in shade for breakfast and also enjoy supper with the sunset. The apartment feels like you’re staying with a beloved grandmother who has lovingly maintained her home over the years. It feels like a real home (and not a rental) as it has eclectic art, substantial furniture including a dining table for 10, a well equipped kitchen, and is spacious enough that you could see yourself living here! Bed was very comfortable, laundry functional (and detergent provided), wifi worked well, tv had lots of channels (including some English), air conditioning worked well (including on some 35+ days), we were given adequate towels. The building is from another era and so the entryway/halls are a little tired but once in the apartment, you forget about that entirely. If we were moving to Mostar, this is where we’d want to live :) Also, the property management team was very communicative and helpful - someone met us to introduce us to the apartment (and helped carry luggage), the first night we couldn’t find the light switch in the kitchen and they sent someone over promptly to help. We hope to return!
