The villa was fabulous, so beautiful, there are no words for it! it was clean, all necessities were there, we didn’t miss anything. The frisge was filed with some drinks and a large filled fruit basket was provided. The garden and pool also very well maintained. We would like to thank the owner again for the dinner in his pizzeria that he offered us! Too bad it was the only beautiful house in the street, the rest was more old dilapidated houses. One tip! Inform the tentant the house number, because only the coordinates are not enough to find the house, it will save time for the owner as well :). Thanks for letting us stay in the villa! Fam. The very beautiful house close to the Croatian/Slovenian border was probably the cleanest holiday home we ever have booked; they even changed our bed linen and towels after one week of stay and cleaned all the floors. With the pool and plenty of space, the house is perfect to relax and take a step back and enjoy the scenery of Slum, which consists of a few old, traditional natural stone houses. For shopping and eating out you’ll have to drive for 10-20 minutes, Slum doesn’t have a store or dining place. It’s a good base to drive to Trieste, Pula or Ljubljana and we’d recommend visiting those. The owner is very forthcoming and organizes everything so you’ll have time to relax, be sure to drop by his Pizzeria because the food is great. The house has plenty of tech & wifi/internet are as fast as you’d wish (I did measure 160/100Mbit), so having some serious binge watching when the weather is not perfect is no problem. We really did enjoy our two-week stay here – two thumbs up for Dinko and his team!

Alles wunderbar

Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit Freunden und den Kindern verbracht. Das Haus war genau wie beschrieben, der Kontakt vor Ort war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Es kam sogar nach einer Woche jemand zur Zwischenreinigung, hat die Betten frisch bezogen, Handtücher gewechselt und den Pool gereinigt. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würde sie auch wieder buchen. Das größte Glück für die Kids war aber tatsächlich der extrem freundliche Nachbarhund, der immer zu einer kleinen Streicheleinheit vorbei kam.

Vi havde en dejlig uge i huset sommeren 2023. Alt hvad vi havde brug for var i huset og poolen var super. Huset var dejlig rent og vi blev taget godt i mod af ejeren. Huset ligger i en lille stille by.

Wir verbrachten unseren Urlaub mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem fast neuen, modern ausgestatteten super sauberen Haus. Das Grundstück, die Außenküche sowie der Pool waren in einem perfekten Zustand. Da das Haus relativ abgelegen ist, benötigt man zwingend ein Fahrzeug für Einkäufe und Ausflüge. Andererseits kann man die absolute Ruhe genießen. Der Vermieter ist super nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Im Kühlschrank wurden uns bei der Ankunft jede Menge Getränke hinterlegt. Ebenfalls stand ein prall gefüllter Obstkorb parat. Obendrauf gab es noch Gutscheine für die lokale Pizzeria. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden wöchentlich gewechselt. Der Vermieter spricht sehr gut englisch. Wir können das Haus einfach nur weiter empfehlen!

Sehr angenehmes Haus, neu erbaut, sehr sauber. Besitzt alles was man für Erholung braucht. Liegt im abgelegenen Dorf, in dem fast keine Leute leben. Ruhe pur.

Hoewel het huis niet direct aan de kust ligt en wat afgelegen, hebben we een heerlijke tijd gehad. Het huis was geweldig. Erg schoon en nog nooit een huis met zo'n complete inventaris. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het was een warm welkom. Er zijn ook veel mogelijkheden voor buiten sporten als mountainbiken, wandelen of Paragliding in directe omgeving. Voor de kust moest wel eerst een stuk worden gereden, maar dat was prima te doen. Een echte aanrader dus voor gezinnen op zoek naar rust of een actieve vakantie.

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig

Sehr schönes und modern eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz und Komfort. Der Pool lädt zum Verweilen und Abkühlen ein. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Zur Begrüßung standen ein gefüllter Obstkorb und erfrischende Getränke bereit. Ein Fahrzeug ist notwendig, da die Unterkunft abseits in einem kleinen verschlafenen Dorf ohne Infrastruktur liegt.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist frisch renoviert, sehr sauber, hell und geräumig. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll angelegt (Bäume, Beete) und umzäunt. Es gibt auch immer Schatten zu finden, wenn man mag, oder eben Sonne. Es ist sehr ruhig (Dorf) und auch der Pool ist super. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern dort und es hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Wir bekamen täglich Besuch von einem sehr kinderliebenden Hund des Nachbarn. Wenn einen die etwas entlegene Lage nicht stört oder auch der schlechte Handyempfang, ist das Haus nur zu empfehlen! WLAN geht aber 1A. Würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren - es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Brilliant House in a Remote area.

The house is currently only two years old, and it is truly a brilliant house. Nothing is missing, and everything seems brand new. In addition the property is fenced, should you be traveling with a dog or smaller children, and the private pool is excellent. That my total rating is 4 and not 5 stars has nothing to do with the house, but the small village of Slum is rather remote compared to what we would have preferred. Having said that, if you are looking for a flawless house, and just want to get away from it all, this is as good as it gets.
