Fantastic holiday in a great house, the facilities were excellent and the house very well equipped. We were a family party of 12 adults, but the house, pool area and gardens were big enough to still feel spacious, with large dining areas inside and outside. The house would also be great for families with children. Claire and Kieran were very helpful, and always responded quickly to any queriesThe local towns, particularly Eymet and Bergerac are beautiful. Thank you!

Fabulous

We were a family group of 12 ranging in age from 20’s to 50’s and the house was perfect. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. We have never stayed in such a well equipped house and the outside space, pool and views were amazing. Thank you Claire and Kieran for being great hosts and making our stay perfect.

Un séjour familial au top

Un we prolongé pour se retrouver en famille.Très belle propriété, très bien équipée. Tout le monde a pu apprécier au mieux. Le beau temps était de la partie pour profiter au maximum des espaces extérieurs, dont la piscine.Hôtes très accueillants, avec de gentilles attentions.

Friends and Family Summer '24

Ten of us (two families with three kids each) had a very enjoyable stay at this wonderful property in a fantastic location. Despite the fact the kids are now all adults there was ample room for us all and we were left wanting for nothing in this well equipped, spacious and meticulously maintained property. Our hosts were warm and friendly, the house was spotless, and the games room, generously sized pool and magnificent views meant we were happy to spend several days just lounging around the property. On the days we decided to venture out, there was plenty to do and see in the area without having to travel too far. Would highly recommend for larger groups / families.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment lors de notre séjour dans cette magnifique maison de vacances en campagne, située dans la région de la Dordogne. La maison était parfaitement équipée, ce qui a grandement contribué à rendre notre séjour des plus agréables. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Claire. La maison elle-même était spacieuse et confortable. Chaque détail avait été soigneusement pensé pour offrir un cadre de vie des plus plaisants. Les équipements étaient modernes et de haute qualité, ce qui a grandement facilité notre quotidien. Nous avons également apprécié les services proposés par nos hôtes, tels que la mise à disposition de guides touristiques sur la région, les recommandations de restaurants locaux et les conseils sur les activités à ne pas manquer. Nous avons pleinement profité de notre séjour ! Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement nos hôtes pour leur accueil exceptionnel, leur disponibilité et leur souci constant de notre bien-être. Beautiful house in a stunning location

The villa served as the setting for a family celebration and 2 week hoiday. The surroundings were picturesque, the villa fantastically accomodating for our group of adults and young children, and the hosts, Claire and Kieran, went above and beyond in looking after us during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone looking to visit the area and will no doubt be back again soon ourselves. 10/10

Geriatric Reunion

Magnificent. Lovely house and grounds, carefully restored, genuine 8-bed ensuite, in delightful setting with easy access to the Dordogne. The house is well provisioned with the essentials - crockery, cutlery, kitchen and cooking equipment. We were a party of eleven and we much appreciated and enjoyed our time there.

Traumhaft!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von acht Erwachsenen und verbrachten eine traumhafte Woche in diesem schönen Haus. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet, die Räume sind großzügig bemessen und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist einmalig, vor allem die großzügige Außenanlage hat uns begeistert und der große beheizte Pool ist ein Highlight. Die Besitzer Claire und Keiran sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und versorgten uns mit vielen guten Tipps. Sehr empfehlenswert! Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: für nicht mehr ganz so bewegliche Besucher wäre es hilfereich, ein kleines Geländer als Einstiegshilfe an der Pooltreppe anzubringen.

Our perfect 3 generation family holiday

An Excellent property; spacious, well equipped and maintained, not to mention beautiful. An ideal location, quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of all amenities and attractions; that is if you can drag yourself away from the garden and poolside. Keiran and Claire looked after us very well; we have rented properties in France since 1981 and have never before had our empty bottles taken to the bottle bank for us! We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this property.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property. The house has eight en-suite bedrooms all decent size and well furnished. Bathrooms are modern. The grounds are beautiful with an enormous heated pool.The owners were a delight and very responsive, a shower head broke and Kieran was there within ten minutes fixing it. The house is a short drive to Eymet and Bergerac. We rarely revisit a house this is one we hope to.

Base parfaite dans un pays charmant

La maison est très bien organisée et extrêmement bien équipée. Les hôtes sont d'une disponibilité sans faille.Nous étions 15 et chacun disposait dune chambre et SdB. Grande SAM et grande table extérieure à l'ombre. Piscine et vue très agréables. Eymet avec tous commerces et marché à 10min.Vivement recommandable.

Claire & Kieran met whilst both working for a large cinema chain in England. Claire had moved to England from from France for work and ended up staying 10 years. They were married in 2016 and decided to make the move to France in 2017 with their young daughter. Having lived just outside London whilst in England, a move to a more rural area was favoured in which to raise their daughter. The Dordogne was an obvious choice as Claire had lived there previously from the age of 13 and her parents still reside there. There is also a large number of UK expats who in the area which makes it easier for Kieran as he struggles to improve his French

When we first viewed the property it hadn’t been lived in for over 2 years and hadn’t been properly maintained for nearly 10 years and so it was in a very run down state when we bought it, but we saw the potential to turn it into a beautiful & comfortable home for us, and somewhere fantastic for our guest to enjoy their holiday. All of the rooms were so spacious and their were some wonderful features such as the wooden beams and exposed stone walls. After 2 years of painstaking renovations we Have finally made it our home and are ready to offer it to guests wanting to have an enjoyable holiday in the Dordogne. The views from the house and garden are exceptional and due to the property being at the top of a gentle hill and with woods to the rear of the house, and no neighbours closer than 200metres away, the house & grounds have a very secluded & private feel, and yet within a minute you can be driving on the D933 with the bars, restaurants and shops of Eymet & Bergerac only 5 and 20 minute away respectively.
