Good position for Pompeii, Herculaneum etc, and on the slope of Vesuvius in a village with local shops. Good size single bedroom apartment, with a very helpful host. Parking a bit tight, but there is an alternative very near. Train station in Ercolano. We can recommend the Campania Arte card for site admissions, with the public transport option.

Nice place close to Naples

Enjoyed our stay in Ecolano. Renato was there to greet us when we arrived and took more than 30 minutes to show us the place and recommend everything from eating pizza to what to see in the area. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. We picked this place because we wanted to be in Naples area but not stay in Naples itself. We had a gated area for our vehicle and access to the main highway was only minutes away. Renato was a great host and has a complete binder in three languages with detailed instructions of how to get to places and what to see when you get there. Although not yet perfectly ripe we had a couple of mandarins which grown just outside the yard. Would highly recommend the place

Très bonne expérience.

Notre hôte parle très bien français et anglais. Il a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer tous les aspects importants de l'appartement. De plus, il a un document sur place facilitant les déplacements aux alentours et décrivant plusieurs des attraits touristiques dans cette région de l'Italie. Au moment de l'arrivée, quelques aliments sont fournies pour les petits déjeuners. Et la cuisine complète permet de cuisiner facilement. Certains éléments de l'appartement nécessiteraient un petit rafraichissement, mais le tout était très propre. Le stationnement sur place convient mieux au petites voitures, mais un autre stationnement est disponible à proximité pour les plus grosses voitures.

Basic apartment with good access to Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum, Amalfi coast…

The apartment is basic and definitely aged, but the hosts make up for that in cordiality. We stayed for 4 days as a family of five, tight quarters, but doable, especially since we really only used the place a a base and to sleep and have breakfast. Renato was very attentive in the lead-up to our stay as well as during the check-in process and throughout our visit. Getting to the apartment and parking is a challenge, be prepared for tight turns and some maneuvering, so if you can, get a small-ish car or comprehensive insurance ;-). Great location for all the sights in the area and good directions on how to get there provided in the apartment and by text beforehand. Thanks again, Renato

Geräumige, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Schöner Ausblick auf Tomatenplantage. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man kann von hier aus gut Ausflüge zum Vesuv, zur Amalfiküste und nach Neapel unternehmen.

Casa en perfecta ubicación

Es una casa con todo lo necesario, esta perfectamente ubicada para ver los alrededores. El propietario es muy simpatico y esta dispuesto a ayudarte en todo lo necesario. Tiene parking, lo cual es muy de agradecer en Napoles, aunque si que es cierto que es estrecho el paso hasta el. No obstante el dueño tiene explicadas perfectamente las maniobras.

pratique et bien situé pour rayonner dans la région

Appartement simple et pratique (parfait pour deux adultes et deux enfants). La végétation qui entoure les balcons et le jardin est agréable. Renato a été très gentil et très serviable. Super accueil (+ panier sucré qui assure le petit déjeuner du lendemain, parfait pour les arrivées tardives!). Lieu idéal pour pouvoir visiter la région, Naples, la côte amalfitaine, Salerno, Pompéi, Paestum, Ischia et Herculanum bien-sûr... Nous sommes restés quinze jours et même si le Vésuve était fermé à cause des incendies, nous avons chaque jour découvert de nouvelles choses. Voiture nécessaire. Nous conseillons cette location. Centraal gelegen appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien

Dit appartement, ligt in een rustige wijk, aan de voet van de Vesuvius, is centraal gelegen tov van de stad Napels en de omgeving. We bezochten Napels, Herculaneum, Pompei, Amalfi, Sorrento en Baia. Fantastisch! De eigenaar is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. Hij geeft goede tips voor route vanaf het vliegveld en voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Ivm met de parkeerplaats bij het appartement geen grote auto huren. Het is manoeuvreren, maar met geduld lukt het zeker. In de tuin is een schaduwrijk zitje aanwezig. Aangenaam in de zomermaanden, maar biedt geen uitzicht op de baai van Napels of gevoel van 'buitenzijn'. In de directe omgeving zijn geen pizzeria's of restaurants. De dichtstbijzijnde eetgelegenheid is met de auto te bereiken (halverwege de helling van de Vesuvius, erg mooi!) Op 2 km afstand is er een prima supermarkt in een shoppingcentrumpje. Een auto op deze locatie is een must.

Renato et Emila sont des hôtes très accueillants, discrets mais très prévenants ( panier gourmands à notre arrivée, pleins de bons conseils....) L'appartement est situé dans un quartier calme dans un écrin de verdure. Idéalement situé pour découvrir la region de Naples. Nous avons pu en une semaine découvrir Naples ( 30 min de voiture), Pompéi, Herculanum, le Vesuse, la côte amalfitaine .... Nous vous cnseillons cette adresse

Very nice and friendly place

We stayed in the appartment with our 2 kids (7 and 9), my wife and myself. The appartment is clean and in an overall good condition. Its localed very good to do excursions to Vesuvio and the excavations. When you come with your own car, make sure ist not a big one otherwise parking at the appartment is a challenge. The owner was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Proprietari assenti e sporcizia dappertutto

Non riesco a capire come si possa dare recensioni positive: all'arrivo in casa, i proprietari erano inesistenti! Abbiamo dovuto parlare con una parente che ci ha aperto la casa. Entrati, ci accorgiamo subito della sporcizia: pavimento pieno di capelli, lenzuola con odore nauseante, frigorifero sporco di succo di frutta, capelli sulle coperte, bagno senza carta igienica. Dopo un viaggio durato 7 ore, abbiamo anche dovuto pulire!!! Infine, la zona è decisamente scomoda: le strade sono dissestate e, provato sulla nostra pelle, in caso di pioggia si forma un vero e proprio LAGO subito dopo il cancello d'entrata! L'acqua arrivava fino alle caviglie. Nella descrizione, si cita anche un parcheggio: il box di casa mia è decisamente più comodo! SOLDI SPESI MALE. DECISAMENTE DELUDENTE!

Au pied du Vésuve

Appartement très agréable avec sa terrasse idéale pour siroter son café au soleil, le nez dans les agrumes et la vigne, et sa table pour manger dehors dans un petit espace du jardin avec des orangers, figuiers, cactus, kakis, palmiers, lauriers roses... ! Il est situé sur la route du Vésuve, proche de l'autoroute pour visiter toutes les merveilles de la région, depuis Naples jusqu'à la côte amalfitaine. Dans ce cas, y rester au moins 3 semaines... Mais attention, rues souvent étroites, entrée à la location pas facile, conduite italienne surprenante, si vous hésitez, on vous fait vite comprendre d'y aller et état des routes moyen dans l'ensemble.

idéale pour visiter la Campanie

Après un accueil chaleureux , nous avons passés un merveilleux séjour dans une location agréable et très bien située pour découvrir les merveilles de la région. En effet la proximité de l'autoroute permet de visiter la côte ,Naples pompei, salerno, sorrente et de même aller jusqu'au paestum. La région est tellement riche en sites à visiter qu'il aurait presque fallu une semaine de plus à nos quinze jours déjà bien occupés.Un grand merci à Renatto et son frère pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et qui sait? nous y retournerons peut être ??? Ciao

Short stay with 3 kids

We booked the apartment only a few days before our arrival and had a very friendly contact to the owners, Renato and Emilia, via eMail and SMS from the beginning. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and allowed for a comfortable stay for 2 adults and 3 children . The place is well situated to explore, apart from Naples, the Vesuv , Pompei or the Amalfi cost. Only one thing to be aware... you should not be afraid to manoever your car in very narrow streets to reach the apartment and the parking spot. Peter and family

buona sistemazione

All'appartamento, che è posto al primo piano di una villetta di 3 condomini con cui si condivide il parcheggio, si accede mediante alcuni scalini sulla cui ringhiera è abbarbicato un bellissimo e profumato glicine. Entrando sulla sinistra c'è un bel salone con angolo cottura e divano letto, l'angolo cottura è enorme e dotato di tutti gli accessori mentre il divano letto è molto comodo (e ci si dorme bene); dietro alla zona giorno c'è un bagno molto grande dotato di finestra; sulla destra invece c'è una porta da cui si accede all'ampia camera matrimoniale. l'appartamento è luminoso, silenzioso e pulito. il lato negativo è rappresentato dal materasso del letto matrimoniale a mio avviso troppo morbido e dalla (difficile) manutenzione di alcuni piccoli dettagli . il proprietario che ci ha accolti e non abita in loco è molto gentile cosi come pure il fratello che invece è uno dei condomini ed a cui si può chiedere un aiuto nel caso si rendesse necessario. consigliato Paolo e famiglia da Roma

A nice place to visit the region

The place is perfectly located to visit the area of Naples and to climb the Vesuvius. Quiet with a few shops around. The train station needs a 35-minute walk. The apartment is basic but well equipped with a garden and a place to park the car. "La ruota" which is next to the apartement is a nice place to eat and have a drink. The place can be enjoyable during the winter time as well.

Heel mooie vakantie gehad

De woning voldeed prima aan de beschrijving. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Emilia en Renato, die trouwens goed Frans spreekt. In het huis is veel documentatie aanwezig over de regio en heel veel praktische informatie over bakkers, supermarkten, restaurants in de buurt, en dat is heel aangenaam. We hebben er een heel mooie en boeiende vakantie gehad, met bezoeken aan de Vesuvius, Napels, Herculaneum, Pompeï, Sorrento, Amalfi, Procida en Solfatara. Het is een regio waar veel te zien is! En deze woning is een prima uitvalsbasis. Bovendien doen de eigenaars er alles aan om het verblijf voor hun gasten optimaal te laten verlopen. Bedankt!
