Kiwi Corner is perfect for a family break and is ideally located for exploring the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.. 2 steps to entrance.

Ground Floor:

Living room: 42" Smart TV, Electric Fire

Dining room: Electric Fire

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bathroom, Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Garage with tumble dryer.. Bike store. On road parking. No smoking.. Set in the town known as ’the friendliest port’, Kiwi Corner has been refurbished in 2020 and offers good size family accommodation. Amble has a strong community spirit and visitors are welcomed. The Sunday morning market on the harbour is popular with locals and visitors, next to the little shopping pods and award-winning ice cream parlour, it makes a lovely morning out. The little beach in Amble is near the pier where there are a few beach huts available to hire from the harbour master. Amble has a nice selection of restaurants for all tastes, cafés and a few shops and is at the start of the Heritage Coastal Route where you can travel up via Alnmouth, Craster, Beadnell and Bamburgh onto Holy Island, with each stop off offering something different.

Northumberland is a very diverse county having the largest dark sky National Park in Europe so a visit over there should be taken to experience the beautiful forests and rugged terrain, making a lovely change to the coast. No trip to Northumberland is complete without a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, steeped in history, museums showing Roman artefacts and lovely walks. Only a few miles south you have beautiful beaches at Tynemouth and the lovely Spanish city in Whitley Bay. There are so many places to visit whilst staying at Kiwi Corner that visitors may just have to re-book to see more of this friendly county. Beach 800 yards. Shop 150 yards, pub 50 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

We had a really lovely few days at Kiwi Corner - a real home from home. Exceptionally clean throughout. The thoughtful little extras were a real bonus - some tea bags, sugar & coffee, washing up liquid & cloths, the washer & dish washer set at the correct programme - they may sound like small things but they add to the great experience. Really good location for an easy walk in to the town & harbour. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kiwi Cottage to anyone. Thank you :)

Immaculate house, well equipped, comfortable, spotlessly clean and on a cold April weekend was pleasantly warm. Shops nearby. Good bus service. Other customers have highlighted parking as an issue. I was lucky and could park on the road outside. Took the bus to Alnwick to the gardens - well worth a visit.
