Spacious rural gite near Malestroit, Brittany - sleeps 6

Our spacious gite, La Crèmerie (The Dairy) is situated in the middle of our beautiful stone longère, and like our other two gites, has an open plan ground floor, with its own woodburner (as well as central heating), plus an enclosed garden with private seating area. Fully modernised, it can accommodate 6 people, in one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and one family room (with a double bed and two versatile single beds that can also be used as a day bed) and a family shower room.

The house overlooks a sunny and charming 18th century stone porcherie and original bread oven at the front, and has a private enclosed garden at the rear, with its own barbecue and outdoor seating. Set in the heart of our 7 acres of wildflower meadows, fields and woodland, it overlooks beautiful countryside with abundant wildlife and is only a two minute drive from the nearest village.

Located in the countryside of Morbihan, it is perfectly sited for exploring Brittany on foot, by bike or in the car, and near to Malestroit and La Gacilly (home of the world famous annual Photo festival). Ideal for couples/families, or book our other two gites for larger groups (we can accommodate up to 14 people across the three houses).

Bulle d’oxygène

Deuxième séjour à la vieille ferme, toujours aussi parfait , toujours aussi magique . Ruffiac c'est une bulle d’oxygène, une jolie parenthese entourée de nature , d'oiseaux , de fleurs , d' arbres .... Le gite propre , soigné donne envie d'y rester plus longtemps ...Comment ne pas être sous le charme ? Et tout cela sous le regard discret et bienveillant de Mandy et Allan . Marianne et Christophe

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 2 adultes et 3 adolescents dans la maison d'Alan et Mandy. La propreté est irréprochable, la maison est très joliment décorée, confortable, et "cocooning". Le poële fonctionne très bien, et donne beaucoup de chaleur à la maison. Alan et Mandy habitent sur la propriété, ils sont présents mais très discrets et agréables. Nous recommandons cette location, et y retournerons avec plaisir.

Magnifique endroit

Ferme rénovée avec beaucoup de goût ! Tres bel espace et équipement top! A recommander. Accueil charmant . A une vingtaine de minutes des sites touristiques de broceliande .

We bought La Vieille Ferme (The Old Farmhouse) at Gayon, in 2016 - we fell in love with it immediately, and moved here with our two cats. Once a working farm, it is now a tastefully renovated traditional stone longere, and we are offering holiday breaks in Morbihan, southern Brittany. With the nearest village of Ruffiac only 2 minutes drive away, and an enjoyable 25 minute stroll, you can pop into the baker for your morning croissants, the butcher for some of their delicious local sausages, the well-stocked supermarket for any other needs, visit the church, or the two welcoming bars and the restaurant. Close to the Nantes-Brest canal for cyclists and walkers, and only 10 minutes from picturesque medieval Malestroit and La Gacilly (home of the world famous photographic exhibition), yet still close to Josselin, Rochefort-en-Terre and the wonderful coastline of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, somewhere to discover new exciting adventures (on land, sea or air), somewhere to relax and get away from it all, a cultural and historical trip, or just a base for cycling or hiking, then look no further. We are centrally based, surrounded by many wonderful towns and cities, theme parks, inland lakes, forests and standing stones, and yet only 45 minutes from the sea. With its own microclimate, Morbihan regularly enjoys a warmer and drier climate than the rest of Brittany.
There are also plenty of weekly markets around, not to mention the Vide Greniers - car boot sales for those after a bargain!
