Well-furnished detached villa with private swimming pool & lovely outdoor area

The Villa is a traditional-style stone construction, built in 2009, which is situated less than 10 minutes' walk from the coast in one of the most beautiful areas of Greece offering peace, privacy & relaxation with luxury standards.

Just a few minutes drive from the wonderful fishing villages of Nea Skioni and Loutra as well as many fantastic beaches on the peninsula of Kassandra, Halkidiki.

The Villa has natural stone walls, traditional wooden doors, windows and shutters, ceramic terracotta tiles and an attractive interior design with coordinating furniture. There is a full TV system with surround sound, super fast Starlink Wi-Fi, small HiFi and full size Miele kitchen appliances.

The professionally designed property has been built to a high specification and offers the upmost in comfort and style. Set in the middle of a beautiful olive grove surrounded by hills, there is also a lovely sea view from the front balcony. The villa boasts a wonderful, enclosed garden with a private swimming pool for your own use.

Bedroom Nr1 has balcony overlooking the forest, a double bed and open wardrobe, bedroom Nr2 has a double bed and open wardrobe, bedroom Nr3 has a double bed, a single sofa bed and a south facing balcony with sea view. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioner units. Two bathrooms - the main bathroom upstairs has a large shower enclosure, WC, double wash basin - smaller downstairs bathroom also has large shower enclosure, WC, & wash basin. Quality kitchen with German Miele electrical equipment, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob. Small utility room with washing machine and cleaning equipment. Open plan living space with defined lounge, kitchen and dining areas. The living room has a large LED flat screen TV, HiFi, CD, Sat TV. There are sun loungers, static parasols and a portable BBQ in the garden. Beach parasols too. We provide towels, beach towels, linen, so no need to bring anything.

Important Information!!!!!
At the end of each stay there is a cleaning/laundry charge of 100Euros. We can only except bookings starting on the weekends Friday Saturday or Sunday in the summer months June, July Aug. No mid-week bookings will be accepted.

Beautiful villa with pool in a quiet location

A good equipped villa, located just far away enough from the towns and main road to enjoy a very quiet and relaxing holiday, but still within easy reach of all necessary of all facilities such as restaurants and supermarkets. For the time of the year the weather was very nice, which meant we could enjoy the pool in the garden.

A hidden gem

We had a lovely week here, despite the wasps and mosquitoes! Claire was amazingly efficient and answered any queries instantly. Lovely pool and well kept villa. Very quiet and tranquil despite being close to fab beaches and tavernas. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable, nice and quite resort

Spacious villa located in a lovely environment, with a reasonable distance to the main road to experience quiteness. Claire was very helpful to us. One remark: it would be serviceable to to see some some signs on the gravelroad up to thr villa 😁

Lovely villa a little out of the way, very quiet and peaceful.

Definitely need a car to get to places. Closest beach not very big and used for private functions a few times during our stay, and the kiosk wasn't open for any refreshments at all. Villa and pool really nice and spacious. And well equipped.

A charming house in a peaceful location, perfect for those who enjoy nature. For us personally, it felt a bit too remote, and the nearby beaches were more on the rocky side. The house itself is very nice, though with a few signs of age. Communication with the managers was excellent – they were always friendly, quick to respond, and very helpful. During our stay, the pool unfortunately turned green, but the managers reacted immediately and took care of it. One of the beds also needed some attention, which they were already planning to fix. Overall, while we enjoyed our stay, we felt that the value for money could have been a little better.

Wonderful!

What an amazing week, the pool was exquisite, villa with everything you need, location tranquil and beautiful! Plus not a far drive to the beaches and towns. Aircon in the bedrooms was a godsend! (A very hot week!) we would definitely come back! Plus thanks to Mike for being so responsive to our messages 😊

Lovely Villa, Beautiful Location

We had a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Brookshaw in September 24. The villa is situated in a valley a short 5 minute drive from the town of Nea Skioni. The villa is very homely and well appointed and included everything needed for our stay. The outside and pool area was lovely with lots of seating, sunbeds with parasols and a BBQ. You can even enjoy the sea view from the upstairs balcony. The drive from the main road to the house is along a dirt road which can be a little challenging, particularly after the rain we had during our stay. However, this is offset by the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful views down the valley. The peace was broken on occasions by the sound of Cow Bells, or in this instance Goat Bells as the farmer was moving his herd of goats. Claire is very friendly and approachable and communication was excellent, she would respond immediately to any request. Nea Skioni is a small but pretty harbour town with a nice beach and a few restaurants and tavernas, mostly specialising in fish and seafood. For a wider choice of restaurants and tavernas you would need to look a little further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa and will have no hesitation in returning sometime in the future.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen, abseits des Touristenrummels. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist sehr angenehm und gut nutzbar. Es gibt auf der Terrasse, unter den großen Sonnenschirmen und mit zwei Sitzecken viele Gelegenheiten, draußen im Schatten zu sitzen. Die Kommunikation mit der Hausmanagerin Claire klappte prima. Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönes Haus mit vernachlässigter Ausstattung

Obwohl wir am Vortag über Fewo mitgeteilt haben, das wir pünktlich um 15°°Uhr am Haus sein würden, war niemand da. Glücklicherweise hatte der Nachbar den Besitzer angerufen und durch die Schlüsselbox kamen wir rein . 1 h später erschien die Managerin. Der erste Eindruck war enttäuschend. Lederküchenstühle von denen sich die Nähte lösten oder das Leder gerissen war. Die Türdichtungen des Kühlschrank verschimmelt, die Schaniere dreckig und die Türen rostig. Der Wasserhahn in der Küche war am Auslass auch rostig. Im Bad unten löste sich die untere Verkleidung vom Unterschrank und hing halb herunter. Die Seifenhalterungen beider Duschen waren sehr verrostet. Im Badezimmer im Obergeschoss war Schimmel an den Dichtungen zwischen Wasserkran und Becken. Draußen war die Markise an beiden Seiten eingerissen, so das wir diese lieber nicht benutzt haben. Im Grill war ausser Asche und Dreck sogar noch eine angebrannte Zwiebel. Am zweiten Tag besuchte uns dann auch der Besitzer des Hauses. Auf die Mängel angesprochen tat er diese aber als Kleinigkeiten ab und sagte, das sein Haus kein 5 Sternehotel sei und wir ja gehen könnten, falls und das nicht passt ( wir hatten für 3 Wochen gebucht und natürlich im Voraus bezahlt) Zum Haus führt ein einspuriger Schotterweg, sehr abgelegen in Feriensiedlungen, es gab keine schönen Sandstrände, da sind wir lieber zum 2. Finger gefahren, wo es schöner war.( 4h Fahrt) Für uns war es das schlechteste Ferienhaus, das wir in Griechenland hatten.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir waren 5 Personen mit Hund und haben eine wunderschöne Zeit im Griechenland verbracht . Das Haus ist super schön , genau wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben gut in bequemen Betten geschlafen und auch nichts vermisst in einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche. Der Pool war natürlich das Highlight. Top gepflegt! Die Anlage mit den 4 Häusern ist eingezäunt, gepflegt und liegt mitten in der herrlichen Natur. Es ist super ruhig, Nachts quaken lediglich ein paar Frösche. Strände, Bars und Nachtleben sind in alle Richtungen nicht weit entfernt, man muss natürlich mit dem Auto fahren. Der Vermieter und der Housekeeoer waren vor Ort und immer sofort zu erreichen und hilfsbereit wenn wir Fragen hatten. Es gab auch viele Insider Tips von Ihnen die wir gerne genutzt haben. Wir können nichts bemängeln und hatten alle tolle Ferien !

Toller Urlaub

Wunderschönes Haus in toller, ruhiger Lage. Wir hatten das Glück während unseres Aufenthaltes keine Nachbarn zu haben: Perfekte Ruhe und Privatsphäre, also Entspannung pur. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Bei Problemen reagiert der Vermieter sofort, bei uns war die Kaffeemaschine defekt, sie wurde noch am selben Tag ausgetauscht. Zwei Kritikpunkte: technisch bedingt sehr schlechtes Internet (soll aber wohl bald geändert werden) und die Sauberkeit des Hauses wird dem ansonsten perfekten Ort leider nicht gerecht. Wir hatten einen Traumurlaub und würden wiederkommen!

Sehr ruhige Lage

wir waren 14 Tage mit unserem Sohn und unserer Mutter in Nea Skioni. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und waren besonders vom Pool begeistert. Das Haus ist durch eine steinige Straße etwas schwierig zu erreichen, jedoch traumhaft abgeschieden und sehr ruhig. Genau was man sich vorstellt mit einem kleinen Kind im ersten Urlaub. Wir waren auch sehr zufrieden mit Mike unserem Hauskeeper, welcher sehr zuvorkommen, jedoch nicht aufdringlich war und als wir einen Notfall hatten auch innerhalb weniger Minuten an Ort und Stelle. Er hat das Problem super schnell, einfach und unkompliziert gelöst. An der ein oder anderen Stelle könnte das Haus sauberer sein, allerdings ist dies Ansichtssache. Wir haben auch wirklich viele schöne Abende auf der Terrasse/ Garten verbracht und vom nächsten Badestrand, mit Dusche, ist das Haus nur einige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Zwar kann man nicht direkt zum Meer laufen, aber hat vom Balkon einen Traumhafen Ausblick. Gerne wieder!

Ferienhaus für einen schönen Familienurlaub

Wir sind als 5-köpfige Familie gereist und haben uns in dieser Natursteinvilla sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders der Pool wurde gern und häufig von den Kindern genutzt. Das Haus ist vollständig und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, es fehlte uns nichts. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte problemlos, der lokale Manager des Hauses war war wie vorher abgesprochen vor Ort. Kleinere Probleme wurden schnell und unkompliziert gelöst. Die Kommunikation lief auf Englisch, das war aber kein größeres Problem. Insgesamt ziehen wir ein äußerst positives Fazit und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Excellent

Just returned from a wonderful 14 days stay in the Villa. Everything was just as described. It is a very quit peaceful area. The pool was fabulous and spent many a relaxing hour either in or around the pool. We ate out most of the time and found some very nice tavernas in Neo Skeoni. Just a 15 minute drive away is Hanioti and spent several of our evenings there too. Beaches in the area are great and very safe for small children. Mike looked after us very well and popped in to check the pool and make sure everything was ok every few days. Overal I would definitely return here one day. It is a little remote and no wifi or very little phone signal (not a problem) Thanks again to both Mike and Michael. Kind regards Jon

Nice Holiday, quiet place close to everything

We had a great holiday with the family. Everything is clean and tidy, the house is well equipped with everything needed. Our daughter loves swimming in the pool and it is not far from sea. It was very nice to find some ideas where to go during the stay, for sure we will come back.

Beautiful house

We had a nice stay. Communication with the proprietor was very good, house is big and very well equipped. Pool and garden amazing. Only negative is there is no Internet but you can buy data for a very good price. Overall was a fantastic and very relaxed stay

Amazing place for a holiday

The villa is lovely, set up in the olive grove where it is nice and peaceful. There is a lovely restaurant at the start of the track on the beach that serves really good food although we did find this the most expensive place to eat and drink. It's a 5 minute car journey to Nea Skioni where there is a beautiful beach and lovely restaurants. All the mosquito nets on the windows in the villa are broken so we did have a nightmare with getting bitten. Being in that location you do expect it but we did play splat the mossie every night before bed. When sitting on the patio we lit the bbq most nights as it seemed to keep them away. Definitely take spray with you. They seem immune to the little spiral scented smoke deterrents. Everything is in the villa that you require for your stay and if there is something you need then Mike the caretaker is super helpful. Nothing was an issue and he can tell you some of the best places to go. He popped in every couple of days to check the pool and was easily contactable if needed. The location was lovely but you definitely need a car. We tried out most of the beaches and villages around the peninsula and they are all just beautiful. But make sure you take the extra insurance out on the car for the tyres and underneath of the car. Definitely worth it!! One thing to bare in mind is if you have young children that you have to keep quiet during the hours of 2pm and 5pm for siesta. So lazy afternoons around the pool with the kids isn't an option unless they are really quiet. There is very little signal at the villa and no WiFi (which was fine for us), and the TV is in German so again if you have kids maybe download some films on an ipad for when they want to chill out of the sun. We have been to several of the Greek Islands and thought we would try mainland for a change. We weren't disappointed.

Sehr erholsamer schöner Urlaub

Wir verbrachten im Haus wundervolle Tage, sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mike, der Manager vor Ort war immer ansprechbar hat sich super gekümmert. Wir haben den Pool ausgebieg genutzt und genossen. In der Nähe sind nicht nur schöe Strände zum baden, sondern auch tolle Buchten zum Schnorcheln. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We live in New York; however, we try to steal any opportunity to travel back to Greece. We love art in all its expressions, beautiful nature, fantastic food and wine. This place has everything for a perfect holiday - great beaches, beautiful scenery, excellent tavernas, restaurants, mineral water SPAs, bars and plenty of shops. It’s also easy to reach from Thessaloniki, the second biggest city in Greece, in about an hour. The area is safe, and the locals are very friendly. Halkidiki is also a popular holiday destination for the Greeks; so, you will find the prices in the restaurants and bars very reasonable, the best that we have seen in Greece (40 Euros for an evening meal for two people, including drinks). The villa and the smaller bungalow are set in a beautiful olive grove, very peaceful with the occasional delightful sound of bells chiming on the passing sheep and birds’ chirping. Once experienced, you will never forget the magic of seeing a rising sun meeting a huge moon from your bedroom in the earlier morning hours, with pine and palm trees and the beautiful sea beyond. After a few days here you will understand why we chose this place as our vacation home, and I am sure that you will fall in love with the area just as we had.

Villa Evgenia is in the middle of a wonderful olive grove where some of the trees are over a hundred years old and a shepherd comes down from the hills with his sheep, which graze on the land around our home. If you are looking for a wonderful tranquil place, then you are on the right path. If you want a bit of night life, then it’s just 3km from the next fishing village with many bars and tavernas. At night the sky is so clear you can almost touch the stars, the sea is less than a 10-minute walk and the summer evenings are an accompanied by the wonderful sounds of nature, an experience you will never forget. In the evening, a gentle breeze always starts, and you will find that you don't need the AC on, even in August, just an open window with the fan on low and as all windows and doors have mosquitos’ nets, you can leave the windows open all night without any concerns. You will not find many places like this in a beautiful idyllic setting and short stretch to the sea. The villa also provides privacy and the luxury of quiet enjoyment.
