Convenient location with a nice view of the river and local market. Nice layout and good sized bathrooms. The check in process was a little weird and impersonal but effective. Biggest 3 drawbacks are small beds in main bedroom, no TVs in either bedroom and no air conditioning. We were very comfortable however and have no complaints. Knowing more about the area now, we would definitely return to this property in the future. You can walk to most everything you will want to visit.

Fantastic apartment and superbly hosted by Roberto. The apartment is exactly as described on the website - modern spacious and spotless. Roberto was the perfect host - helped in advance to provide some additional keys and couldn't do enough to make our stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Thanks again for a wonderful stay - a tremendous apartment next to the river in Bilbao

Loved Bilbao

Roberto’s apartment overlooks the river across from the old town. We were very comfortable. Convenient to all modes of transport. We loved exploring the city, the beach and day trip to San Sebastion. On arrival we did a walking tour of city.

The apartment was perfectly located, right across from the market and the old town. We walked almost everywhere and the Guggenheim was a short taxi ride away. We loved having our balcony open and having the fresh air and the river view. We were there during festival and had a perfect view of the international fireworks competition each night. Roberto responded quickly to questions. Note that you need to be able to send a WhatsApp message upon arrival so Roberto can unlock the doors to let you in and provide guidance on where the apartment is located. There is an elevator so getting luggage up to the first floor was not an issue. Would stay here again.

Excellent apartment excellent location

Location, location, location. This very attractive apartment was the perfect location for us across from the market and the old town. We walked almost everywhere and the Guggenheim was a short taxi right away. We loved having our balcony open and having the fresh air and the river view…we really enjoyed the neighborhood. It had a very Good vibe do you. Just know that the host does not meet you at the apartment. You will retrieve the keys yourself and let yourself in once we understood the process. It was not a problem.

If you have ever thought of going to Bilbao… Do yourself a favor and go. My wife and I had spent seven days in San Sebastian and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were thinking that Bilbao might be a letdown after the glamour and the beaches of San Sebastian. After spending a week in Bilbao, we realized how wrong we were. San Sebastian does indeed have lots to do, lots to look at, great food and beautiful beaches. But what Bilbao has is soul. It’s truly a great town, and if I ever had to choose between spending a week in Bilbao or a week in San Sebastian, I would easily choose Bilbao. And if I am ever able to go back to Bilbao, I would want to stay again at Roberto’s lovely apartment. First of all, Roberto was very accommodating, he is a lovely host. Second of all the view is fabulous. We never got tired of looking out over the river and to the Mercado de Rivera. Third was the kitchen. The built-in Gaggeneau espresso maker and stovetop were truly wonderful. The showers were a bit small, but adequate, they had great fixtures that offered plenty of hot water. It has a nice comfortable couch, and a large TV, a nice dinette set with very comfortable chairs, and a great little bar top table with two stools perfect for gazing out at the great view. Both bedrooms had 2 twin beds, but in the main bedroom the beds had controllers that enable both sleepers to adjust the confirmation of the bed to best suit their desires. So… It’s great, just book it.

Geweldig appartement

Leuke restaurants in buurt.

Easter in Bilbao
