We had a wonderful stay at Saar Castle. The castle itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped. We had everything we needed, and anytime we needed something extra, the host was very responsive and happy to provide it.The property is located in Serrig, a beautiful, very quiet area that we really enjoyed. Saarburg is only about a 10-minute drive away and has several restaurants and places to explore. The location is also great for day trips, with Trier nearby and Luxembourg easily accessible. There were just two inconveniences worth mentioning. There is only one FOB for the entrance gate, so if you are traveling with multiple cars and coming and going at different times, it requires some coordination. Also, the WiFi only worked well in two rooms of the house, which could be challenging if you plan to work during your stay or need a reliable connection.Overall, we had a great experience. It is such a unique place to stay, especially with a group. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the fact that Saarburg, Trier, Luxembourg, and the beautiful wine region were all within easy reach.

Tolles Familienwochenende
