The host is so friendly and communicative. There is nothing shabby about this cabin. There is plenty of room for two people. The washer/dryer were such a bonus. This cabin is very clean! My husband and I enjoyed the view and pool table. We were also able to get out and enjoy the local wildlife: moose, mule & white tail deer.

We could stay longer in this amazing spot. The cabin was exactly as described and all we could think we need was right there. Fishing in the river, or just staying out enjoying the nature, relaxing from the city fast pace was an otherworldly experience! The communication with Jennifer was also great! She was nice and thoughtful at all times! We recommend this place .

Beautiful Getaway

The property is fantastic! As soon as we stepped out of the vehicle and looked at the view of the river, I knew I hit a home run on this one. The cabin is clean and perfect for a couple. We visit the area every summer while staying in Sandpoint, and I always fish just down the road. So to actually be able to stay right there was a huge novelty. The cabin has everything to keep you entertained. We live downtown in a fairly big city, so when I looked up at the night sky, it blew me away. If we can make it happen, we will be back again next summer.

Amazing location and adorable property! It was so quiet and relaxing being next to the river. The cabin had every amenity one could ask for, and was decorated so cute. My hubby loved finding the miniature stone animals all around the cabin. Also, the fishing was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our week away from reality. Thanks so much!

The Swanky Cabin is amazing! The hosts are equally amazing and have thought of everything…and then some! The cabin has all the entertainment you need and the setting is so relaxing you will never want to leave.

Romantic Get-Away

This is a very unique cabin. We felt like we were back in the 60’s and 70’s. Every spot in the house was specifically decorated with thoughtful things to help your stay to be peaceful and relaxing. Being so close to the river added to the serene setting, while relaxing on the back porch. There are 2 TV’s, but we only used one to insert the music download. Good choices, to once again, help with decompressing from the crazy world around us. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Very cozy and well stocked

We got rained on most of the time so we didn’t get to enjoy outside much. We had a wonderful time listening to music and playing pool though. Beautiful view as well.

wonderful peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway!

We stayed here for a little anniversary getaway. The home was so nicely done and lots of personal touches everywhere. You could tell the hosts really thought of everything and were so thorough in their communication, directions, and all the little ways to make it so enjoyable. We loved playing pool and the record player. We loved that the outdoor area was so well-shaded for the very hot days we were there. Eating on the deck and the lounge chairs by the river was so nice. The home was the perfect size. Very comfy bed and loved the loft set-up for it. Tons of DVDs, records and games for entertainment. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom for everything. It wasn't an issue for us but I would say the access to the water for recreation could be tricky for some people. There was a switchback trail with some slippery spots with nothing to hold onto and then a rope to sort of belay down which we used mostly except when carrying things. Again, not an issue or complaint just something to be aware of for accessing the river. We took our own inflatable paddleboard and kayak and went out in the morning when the river water level was lower and calmer. The water level did rise throughout the day and paddling upriver was a workout but still manageable. We had just the best time and were so glad we found this little peaceful corner for a quick weekend away. Highly recommend!!

We wanted a quiet birthday getaway and we found it! The property was just as described. I especially liked the beauty bar. We had one rainy day so we relaxed and watched movies. We would definitely stay again.

Incredible river front stay

Peaceful and serene. Everything you need for 2 people. Right on the river wirh wondsrful big windows all along the river side of the house so even in cold weather you can enjoy the river. Nice deck and lounging areas riverside also. Basics all covered inside the house for a comfortable stay.

Swanky Cabin Delivers Sweet Solitude

This cozy river front cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway. Fly fishing from the river bank was one of our favorite memories. We caught and released some very nice sized rainbow trout and a few small mouth bass. The Clark Fork merchant store had butter and some of the other items we did not pack and the store was just a short 10 minute drive from the cabin. The bed in the loft was very comfortable but we would agree with other people reviewing this cabin that you need to be careful when climbing up and down from the loft. We loved the fact that there was a TV in the loft and we laid in bed and watched Netflix. The pool table was also a lot of fun and the pool sticks and table were in excellent condition. We left the cabin well rested and can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Incredible stay

This was an amazing experience for my girlfriend and I. The cabin is exactly as advertised. As soon as you arrive you can see and feel the warmth and thoughtfulness that the owners put into this place. We had our coffee on the swing on the river every morning watching the sunrise and taking in the beautiful scenery. The little town of Clark Fork is only about ten minutes away and has all you should need, including their awesome bakery and store that hand made us a excellent pizza to take back to the cabin and cook. I will say if you are dealing with any mobility issues, this may be a difficult place to navigate for you. The bed is up a flight of stairs on an elevated platform and any needs to get out of bed for bathroom or kitchen needs can be a little tricky on tired or sleepy legs. I can recommend this wonderful place to anyone wanting to get off the grid for a few days and enjoy the nature and the tranquility that comes with the cabin's rental fees!

Great place to stay

Loved the peace and quiet! Well needed it! Everything in the cabin was well kept and beautiful. Just a note there were no curtains when we stayed that was a little surprising but none the less still was relaxing get away!

A peaceful reset

It’s a wonderful place to get away and recharge while enjoying the River, due to fire season we didn’t get the enjoy it as much as we’d hoped. The pool table, games, and music made for a fun indoor vacation. We did brave the smoke on our second day and paddled the river which was so serene. It’s nice to enjoy the water without the plethora of boats that occupy the lake!

Perfect relaxing getaway

This was a beautiful property and amazing home! With every little thing put in the home with love and care, you can tell! We had a blast playing pool, enjoying the views, and paddle boarding. You do have to scale the hill with a rope to the river but we didn’t have any issues! Still got the paddle boards down , we did have to carry them up a bit to prevent the water rise at night washing them away. We had a very friendly pup visit us by the water and swing who wanted nothing but to play! What a joy! Neighbors were no bother and still seems to be pretty private from them. Sadly we could not have any fires due to the season but I’m sure they’d be beautiful, instead we watched the helicopters collect water from the river for the nearby fires. We used our paddle boards to go about two miles up river to the fish hatchery and back and explored all the woods and beautiful mountain run off spots further up off shore. I love to explore new places every year and this will definitely be one of my favorites! Very memorable and anything I didn’t have was supplied for my forgetful self. Easy instructions and amazing hosts. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy!
