The apartment is located in the oldest and most important part of Pitigliano, the ghetto. In fact, Pitigliano is known by many as “Little Jerusalem.”

It offers a view of the green valley in front of the ghetto, overlooking the tuff cliffs.



The alley leading to the apartment, though located just a few meters from the synagogue, remains secluded and quiet.



The exterior façade features two murals depicting a war scene and Marghera House.



Upon request, the property includes an adjoining tavern with a wine cellar that can be used for aperitifs arranged with the owner, or for an additional €120 per day to rent the entire space.



The apartment features a living area with a fireplace, a hallway leading to the kitchenette, and the kitchenette itself, which is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, conventional oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, and blender.



The living area consists of a table with seating, which includes chairs and a built-in sofa with comfortable cushions. In this area, you can admire a stone bearing a Celtic cross dating back to the year the Pitigliano Cathedral was built (1276), as it served as the FOUNDATION STONE OF THE CATHEDRAL ITSELF, along with a section of a walkway that once connected directly to the Cathedral.

This area features an HD TV with a satellite decoder for viewing international channels, as well as a multifunctional sound tower that can be connected to a smartphone or an USB drive containing music.



On the upper floor, there is a spacious bedroom featuring a sleeping area with a queen-size bed and a dressing room/study area with closets, a sofa bed, and a small desk. It is also equipped with a TV and DVD player.



The bathroom on this floor is small but fully equipped.



Toilet, bidet, shower, and a shelf for personal items.



The breathtaking view directly over the valley overlooks the Jewish cemetery and part of the Medici Aqueduct; you can admire both the sunrise and the sunset from here.



The tavern area, with a separate entrance, consists of a spacious room

measuring approximately 40 square meters, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a wine cellar.



In this area, you can prepare lunches and dinners and host larger groups, even for private events. Especially when combined with the wine cellar, it is an ideal space for dedicated tastings of local wines, olive oils, and cheeses.

Casa Marghera is located in the Jewish quarter near the synagogue and just a few meters from the Duomo. Palazzo Orsini, the Medici Aqueduct, and the Sette Cannelle Fountain are a 3-minute walk away.

Additionally, nearby attractions include the Open-Air Archaeological Museum and the Civic Museum of Etruscan Civilization.

Countless villages surround Pitigliano, including Sorano, Scansano, Montemerano, and Sovana—the latter featuring its own archaeological site.

For those who love spas, there are the ones in Sorano, a 5-minute drive away, and those in Saturnia, with its Gorello Waterfall—also known as the Mulino Waterfall—26 minutes away.
