Quiet and cosy villa with own pool

Villa Saluma is a stylish and peaceful villa where privacy, comfort, and relaxed living come together. Located on a lagoon directly connected to the Red Sea, this villa offers everything you need for a carefree stay in El Gouna.
The villa is surrounded by a spacious, green garden filled with palm trees (sometimes even bearing dates!) and features a large private swimming pool, complete with sun loungers and parasols. By the pool, you’ll find a cozy lounge area with comfortable seating, where you can fully unwind while enjoying the beautiful water views. The pool can be heated upon request for an additional daily fee of EUR 25.
Inside, the villa offers a bright living room with an impressive domed ceiling, a comfortable seating area, and a smart TV with international channels. The adjoining dining area seats six guests and offers lovely views over the garden. The fully equipped kitchen includes all necessary cooking and dining essentials.
The villa features three spacious bedrooms, furnished with two wide double beds and two single beds, as well as built-in wardrobes. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to a balcony or rooftop terrace. Bed linen is provided. There are two bathrooms with shower and toilet, plus an additional guest toilet on the ground floor.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa.
Through the veranda and a staircase, you reach the terrace, garden, swimming pool, and lagoon — a truly unique spot to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the view.
Downtown El Gouna is approximately a 20-minute walk away and offers a pleasant mix of shops, cafés, and restaurants. Abu Tig Marina and the newer Fanadir Marina are also popular hotspots, known for their lively atmosphere, restaurants, and terraces, and are easily reached by tuk-tuk or taxi. Additionally, we offer two electric scooters for rent at a fee of EUR 10 per day.
Check-in and check-out are personally handled by our property manager, Mohamed, who speaks English and some German and is happy to assist you with anything you may need during your stay.

Lovely stay!!

This was our 3rd trip to El Gouna but the first time in a villa and what an enjoyable experience we had! Our family loved this beautiful villa, having breakfast and lunch in the sunshine on the patio by the pool and chilled evenings under the pergola with a shisha. The airport pick up arranged through Ed went smoothly and we had a great welcome from Nasser upon arrival at the spacious and well equipped villa. The pool was a lovely temperature and well attended as were the grounds. We walked into downtown on the first night (about 20 minutes) but then made full use of the tuk tuk service (a bargain at 40LE for the 5 of us) and visited several restaurants and bars around downtown and the marina. With 2 days of boat diving and 4 days of relaxation our week went by far too quick so we look forward to making a return visit in the not too distant future. Thank you Ed and Nasser!

Lovely!

Overall the Villa was very lovely and can not be faulted. However, the pool was very cold and the children were really looking forward to getting into the pool. Once the pool was heated it took two days for the temperature to be right. So I felt that we had missed out on two days in the pool. There was no brush or mop to clean up, the villa had almost everything except a brush and a mop. I did ask Naseer (local agent who looks after the villa) but did not get a respond back from him. Overall would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a nice time.

An amazing stay!

The villa was of the highest standard. It was very clean and well maintained. The pool was perfect for the children and was kept very clean by the grounds staff each day. The view over the lagoon from the pergola was super calm and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

2nd Stay

This was our second stay and like last time it was perfect. Location is quiet overlooking the lagoon so it is a peaceful escape. Daily pool cleaning and gardening people are discreet and maintain the outdoor space beautifully. The only downside was leaving this lovely villa to come home! Thanks again Ed and Nasser for a great 2 weeks vacation. Look forward to returning soon.

A very nice villa for a memorable vacation

The property was as expected in terms of cleanness & all listed amenities. Welcoming was very good by Nasser (Property Manager) & the service was constantly done for the pool & garden area at early morning times on daily basis. The overall experience was relaxing & comforting. Just a small comment at the time of checkout that we were contacted the night before checkout by another property management team member (Islam) asking to evacuate the villa by 9:00 am (earlier to the timing mentioned in the rental documents -12:00 PM). This was resolved after a couple of phone calls back & forth but I have to leave a comment here that it caused a sort of discomfort out of no reason specially that he was not quite gentle in the way he asked for such thing. Another point to mention was that the Villa beside was having some repairs going on that lead to having workers mounting the roof top on daily basis. This breached our privacy to some extent as they were visible to us while staying around the pool area; still I have to say, that the workers were very professional, working quietly & not peeking at others' properties. Other than this, everything else was perfect & we much enjoyed our stay. As a small technical comment, I recommend adding a couple of electricity outlets in the Villa's front facing the pool area to help connecting any portable devices while staying outdoors i.e. mobile phone chargers, speakers...etc.

Wir haben die Zeit in der wunderschönen Ville sehr genoßen und einen wunderbaren Urlaub gehabt. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber schön. Platz ist wirklich genügent vorhanden. Der Pool wurde jeden morgen sauber gemacht und es war traumhaft Arbends draußen zusitzen und die Aussicht zugenießen. Mit dem TokTok konnte man überall für kleines Geld hin. Die Umgebung bietet alles was man braucht, einen schönen Hafen mit wundervollen Restaurant, eine Stadt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Disko´s zum tanzen und und und. Es hat uns wirklich nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Urlaub, wir kommen wieder!!!

Nice location

Villa Saluma is as nice as the pictures depict. We had a wonderful holiday from the moment we arrived to the time we left. We arranged transfers through the villa owner Ed and were met at the airport with no problem. We have visited El Gouna many times, staying in various villas in both West Golf and South Marina, and villa Saluma is right up there with the best. West Golf and South Marina both have plusses and minuses. South Marina is well placed for walking to both downtown and the marina, but has no views, and most villas are overlooked by apartments. West Golf is a little further out and outside of walking distance to downtown and the marina for us. Villa Saluma makes up for this with lagoons front and rear and a beautidul view over the golf course. The fact it is a little further out really isn't a problem as it is very easy to phone either a taxi or tuk-tuk from the vilaa. Just a point of note for parties of four (as we were). With the recent rise in the fare for tuk-tuks it is now half the price for 4 people by taxi (20LE) as opposed to 40LE for two tuk-tuks. The villa is well appointed with all you need to make your stay relaxing. The pool is excellent, clean and well maintained, something that has sometimes been a problem at some villas we have stayed at. Our favourite spot, especially in the evenings, was the thatched pergola by the pool. After dining we would return to villa, grab drinks, and chill under the pergola. We spent some very late nights under there, including sitting up to watch the sunrise. Ed (and Luke) corresponded with us very well and frequently, from our initial enquiry through to booking and departure. The local agent Nasser (and Emad) are excellent and can't do enough for you. We had an issue with the telephone and wifi during the first week but this was quickly resolved by Emad. If it's your first visit to El Gouna you will find lots of nice restaurants both downtown and at the marina. Two that we particularly enjoyed on this visit were The Orient in lower downtown, and Breeze in the marina. If you go to Breeze on a Sunday it is best to phone and reserve a table as it is Karaoke night and can get busy, but it's great fun. I perhaps shouldn't say this in case Ed reads it, but Villa Saluma is excellent value for money given the pricing. We would certainly book again.

Paradise on earth

This holiday location has it all! El Gouna is a paradise on earth and the villa makes you feel you are the queen of El Gouna! This is the second time we have been here and just like the first time, everything had been arranged perfectly. If we needed anything, we just called N. and he arranged it. He made us feel so welcome. Thanks a lot!! For those who have never been here: the pictures are exactly how it is! Just perfect! I have read that El Gouna is the Italian Venice of Egypt. That is true as far as the water is concerned, but El Gouna is much cleaner, safer and much more beautiful. If you don't want to relax all day in the villa, or at the beach, or on a terrace, you can enjoy so many activities in El Gouna, like playing golf, diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, jeep safari in the desert, too many things to mention. If you want something unique, you have found the right place!

Relaxing

Just arrived home after 9 nights in Villa Saluma and highly recommend this villa. Ed and Nasser couldn't have been more helpful. We loved the outside space and pool, which was cleaned and tested daily. There are wonderful restaurants close by via tuk tuk or taxi, our favourites were La Luna and Chez Pascal. Cooking in the villa was very easy, everything you need is there. All in all we had a lovely holiday. Thank you Ed and Nasser

Perfect!

Villa Saluma is probably the best deal you can find in El Gouna for a group up to 6. We stayed in the first week of February and everything was perfect. The driver arranged by Mr. Visser, the owner, was waiting for us at the airport and drove to the villa, where Nasser welcame us with a smile and cold water in the fridge, which was really appreciated since it was 3 am when our flight landed. The day after, the swimming pool technician came and in one day, the water was at 24 ºC, one day later, at 26 ºC and the rest of the week at 28 ºC, making the use of the pool a pleasure. The villa has everything you need for your stay, from sunloungers to towels, from TV set to magazines, and a very well catered kitchen, with microwave and classic oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Having breakfast and lunch at the table in front of the swimming pool rocks! The villa is located in a very quiet area in front of the golf court, but calling (for free) a TukTuk or a taxi will put you in any area of El Gouna in minutes. I´d definitely recommend this property to anyone willing to enjoy El Gouna and a relaxed and stylish holidays, and it´ll be my first option if going back there for my third time.

Fantastisch!!!

Wat hebben wij ontzettend genoten. Prachtig huis, alles keurig verzorgd. Verwarmd zwembad is echt een pluspunt. Een absolute aanrader voor een ieder die met het hele gezin wil genieten. Naast het mooie huis is het ook nog eens een erg leuke buurt waar veel te beleven is met diverse leuke restaurantjes.

Geweldig huis op een geweldige locatie!

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De locale huisvriend zorgt dat je niets te kort komt. Perfect geregeld! In El Gouna kun je je prima vermaken en alle vertier is aanwezig. Terug in het huis kun je je weer terugtrekken in de rust met een boek aan het zwembad. Heerlijk!

Super Urlaub . Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie 2 Wochen in der Villa Saluma, schon der Kontakt mit den Vermietern vor der Reise war wunderbar. Alle unsere Erwartungen wurden zu 100 % erfüllt und wir hatten traumhafte 14 Tage in el Gouna. Die Villa hat eine super Lage ist absolut perfekt ausgestattet. Absolutely perfect!!!!

This was our third visit to El Gouna and was our favourite so far! The villa was stunning - especially the beautiful view from the back! Every e-mail we sent to Ed was answered swiftly and comprehensively and everything was organised beautifully! Nasser was a total credit to the villa and helped to make our stay incredible! He quite simply could not do enough for us and it was a pleasure to meet him. We also went on several trips which Nasser helped organise through Fun Days which included dolphins, scuba diving and quad biking - amazing!!!! The best Villa we have stayed in

Thank you for the best Holiday we have had in El Gouna. Everything about your Villa made our holiday a fantastic one! From the first email we sent to Ed to the last when checking out, Ed had everything sorted for us to make our holiday as smooth as possible. Mr Nasser is also a credit to the Villa, anything we needed we just dropped him a message and it was sorted immediately. The villa over all is just beautiful, Ed and his wife have put a lot of thought in to the theme of the villa and made it a home from home, we loved sitting under the Pergola of an evening when the sun went down. I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone that wants 5* luxury at a very affordable price in beautiful El Gouna, trust me, you won't want to go home! Thanks once again to Ed and his wife!

Perfect for a family with young children

Well maintained villa which is suitable for a family of 4-6 members. The kids especially enjoyed the heated pool. It makes it a well-suited destination in Winter just as in Summer. This is the second time for my family to book this villa. I noticed the enhancement in Wi-Fi service with the new access point for outdoor use. We have every intention to book the house again for future vacations in Gouna.

Really Great !

We stayed for a week in this beautiful Villa and had a really great time and here's why : 1- The location :The villa is a 3 to 7 minutes drive from anywhere in Gouna. 2- Interior : All clean and tidy as shown on-line if anything even better.( Flat T.V with European and Egyptian satellites ( Paid channels included such as National geographic, E , Movie channels and many more ) 3- Exterior : Absolutely amazing, the garden, the pool ( u can set it's temperature to your liking !) and the sandy beach ( lagoon ). 4- All kinds of cuisines and food are just a free phone call away! just use the land-line to call any restaurant in El Gouna , most of them would deliver within 20 minutes. It's a great place and privacy is guaranteed except for the maintenance that has to be done to the pool and garden on daily basis but even that takes place early in the morning and it doesn't take long. I had a problem with the pool heater and so had to call Nile water the company maintaining the pool. They were very helpful and they fixed the problem in less than an hour even though it was night time. Everything is great about this place.

Heaven on Earth!

Words aren't enough to express how amazing the property is. It's simply heaven on earth.  It's beauty lies in its simplicity.  The property is beautifully located with a splendid view, you can enjoy the amazing view of both lagoons, a superb quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It has everything you need. Privacy was an important factor which helped making our stay enjoyable. It is Very clean, neat, spacious and very well mentained and has all the entertainment needed. You simply dont need to bring along anything..except your music :) other than that the property is at your service. Perfect location to downtown's hot spots. Resturants, night life bars and pubs. Check out the schedule for parties and concerts in Downtown and the Marina. Transportation was never an issue, you have limo services 24/7 around the clock with very good affordable prices. Also tok-tok and taxis. Supermarkets has almost everything you might want in terms of fresh food and drinks imported and local in addition to any extra house supplies needed. If you can't go by yourself, no worries they deliver and so does some of the food restaurants. Ed the owner was extremely helpful, friendly and cooperative, promptly replies back to inquiries, he made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The agent was really helpful too always present to insure we have everything required. I would definitely recommend the property to friends and family and anyone who wishes to spend a lifetime quality time.  Unfortunately though we didn't stay for long, but Will make sure that it's not our last time there. It's definitely to be an annual visit.
