The villa is located 1 km away from a few shops. Bicas beach is 2.4 km and Meco beach is around 3 km away. Sesimbra is 13 km away and Alfarim is 3 km away, where you can find a reasonable range of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, supermarkets, and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there are nearby fish markets at Sesimbra.



The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese, and the small Swiss roll (tortas) are the specialities of the region. Sesimbra, the closest city, is famous for fish and shellfish restaurants.



Praia das Bicas, popular for surfing is 2.4 km away, Sesimbra and Praia do Meco beaches are 5 -10 minutes by car.



For diving, Portinho de Arrábida and Sesimbra beaches have some of the most interesting diving in Portugal. Sailing, windsurfing, and canoeing can also be enjoyed nearby at Lagoa de Albufeira.
