The Good, The Bad, The Indifferent

Getting to the condo is a little confusing at first. Don't let google maps tell you to turn left when you go in. It's a dirt road and takes you to a dumpster Communication was excellent. If you have mobility issues the condo is great because there are no stairs to get in. The property was clean. The condo is between two other floors. You will hear every footstep above & noise from below. Mostly everything is provided. Take extra tp, with a family of 4 the 2 & 1/2 rolls provided were not enough. The pullout sofa was extremely uncomfortable. My daughter said her bed was comfy. The master bed is comfortable, but you will feel every move your partner makes and I felt like I was sleeping downhill. I would wake up every morning with pressure in my head and would be fine as soon as I sat up. The sheets are soft and entirely too slick..lol..the blanket slides off every night. You also have to pull the bottom sheet back down every morning and the pillowcases slide off. We used our own blanket as the one provided seems a little old and worn. The condo is a little on the small side but worked perfectly for our needs.The patio wall is full glass without any curtains or blinds on it, so if anyone sleeps in the living room they will wake up to the morning brightness. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom, and they move when you step on them. The ammenties are great. My kids loved the putt putt golf & pools. We also enjoyed going down to the dock and using the paddle boats

Condo stay

Wonderful little get away just far enough away from Branson but able to drive in for a couple of days. Sadly we were not able to find the kayaks or information about them. The condo was just what we needed & saw a huge brood of Turkeys with tons of little babies.

Great Condo

Our family of six planned a quick trip to do some things in Branson and this condo made the trip possible. We were a little tight but made it work. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean and well kept. The host communicates very well and it made the trip easier.

Improvements

The only thing I might suggest is to change out your tvs in the living room and first bedroom. They are very fuzzy. Other than that it was a wonderful place. We will return !!

Clean and Comfortable

Perfect for our family of 5. Space was clean and comfortable. We didn’t explore much of the resort amenities as it was just a weekend trip and we went to Silver Dollar City one day and spent another boating on the lake. Communication with owner was easy and clear. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay!

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this condo for a nearby family reunion. It’s in a nice quiet resort and was perfectly located for our needs. The unit was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials. It’s ground level which was necessary for the older relatives I shared the roomed with. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that there’s no blinds or window covering on the sliding glass door. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and are already planning to return for the next reunion.

I replace the bulbs in the lamps and the living room remote will need batteries. We loved the place.

Perfect! Had to replace the bulbs in the night stand lamps but everything was great .

Dirty

This is our 25th year at OMR and have been very pleased with the condos we have rented 3-4 times a year. This was the first time we stayed at this particular unit and while we aren't picky and in the room for extended periods of time we still like the condo to be clean. It was so dirty we spoke with the property owner and she sent over a cleaning lady. The unit was dusy, filthy dirty and bread crumbs left on the counter and were still there after the cleaning lady cleaned for the second time, the carpet is the same carpet the other condo's had back in the 90's completely filthy that no one would walk on them without shoes. The property owner state she was there 2 weeks prior and the condo was not in that shape. The micorwave handle on the door was so dirty I cleaned it when we arrived and we didn't use the over because it too was dirty. This unit needs to be updated drastically.

Great Place!

This condo was clean, had everything we needed, and had super comfy beds! The kids loved the large outdoor pool and access to the lake to skip rocks. Parking is right outside the condo and there are no stairs to climb to get to the unit! Only downsides: We couldn’t find a very good area to swim in the lake that was close to the condo. The lake access is super close to boats and very rocky. No real beachy/swim area. Also, this is a pretty far drive to Branson (about 30+ minutes). This could be a positive for some! I just didn’t do enough research when booking the unit.

Overall, we had a wonderful time. The condo was perfect! It was a little further from the lake than I was hoping and the walk was a large hill. There was not a dedicated swim area either. My 13 year old did get to do some fishing, and swimming in the two pools. We enjoyed not being right in the hustle and bustle of Branson, but still close enough to go when we wanted to. I think it’s important to know if you stay here with children, and rent a kayak or canoe, the area for that activity is open to full size vessels.

Wonderful Disconnect from the Hustle and Bustle

Close proximity to the lake, plenty of amenities, and proximity to popular attractions/locations. Quiet area and the property had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend.

My name is Ginger Williams. I have been married to my husband, Bart, for 49 years. We live in Orange, Texas. We have three grown children and three grandsons. Both my husband and I are retired teachers. I taught Kindergarten and first grade for 32 years and Bart taught science and coached. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my children and grandchildren.

I first came to Branson when my oldest daughter was only 3 months old and she is now 41. My mother and her parents loved to come up every summer, usually in August. My grandfather played the fiddle and enjoyed watching shows that had fiddlers, particularly a then young Shoji Tabuchi. Since we came every summer, my parents bought a time share and we discovered Ozark Mountain Resort. We fell in love with the property which offered so much for the children and gave us a chance to get out on the lake. After staying there for a number of summers, my mother decided to purchase a condo which was being built on the property. My mom, my children and I had a great time the first time we stayed in the new condo. Several of my aunts came up along with my grandparents. We went to the marina across the lake and rented a pontoon boat. The children had such a good time jumping off and swimming around. We docked it here and ate lunch at the condo, then went out on the lake again. I have wonderful memories of that day. Unfortunately, it was the only time my mom got to enjoy her new condo because she passed away from cancer only a three months later. My dad kept the condo and has now passed it on to me. My children still love coming here and especially love to go to Silver Dollar City, the shows and attractions in Branson and just enjoy the lake and swimming pool here.

The Ozark Mountain Condos have been a beautiful, peaceful place for us to spend our vacations. I love to sit on the balcony and enjoy the mountain view, especially in the fall when the leaves change. The beautiful 20-30 minute drive to Branson never disappoints me because I know what exciting things await me when I arrive. We always have fun whether we go to town or just stay and enjoy the condo and lake.
