The Lodge with Hot Tub - Dog friendly

The Lodge’ with hot tub is just one of our luxury self catering holiday lets.

It is located by foot 100 metres from the main house down a public footpath. The Lodge has its own private entrance and offers a fully fenced garden ideal for well behaved dogs.

The light & airy studio (30 sq m approx) has a double bed, Kitchen/ living area with sofa bed & ensuite shower with eco- friendly caravan toilet to protect the environment. There is a TV/DVD player, cooker, microwave, fridge & toaster, electric heating, outside lighting, torch.

We provide toiletries, hairdryer, towels and a couple of towelling robes with matching slippers just so you’ll feel pampered.

Tea and coffee provided for arrival.

If you are looking for a rural retreat, set at the end of a bridleway the lodge is an ideal base to explore the local countryside, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for walking, biking, visiting local attractions or a relaxing/romantic break.

There is no wifi due to its location, guests tend to tether off their phones. You should get 4g (dependant on your provider).

There is a gazebo over the hot tub so that it can be used all year round.

The Lodge was exactly what my Husband and I were looking for in a relaxing get away from the everyday stresses of life! The location was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle, giving us the time we needed to switch off and relax. The Lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped, we did not need for anything! The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, well maintained and added a touch of luxury to our stay. Julie communicated well and made us feel very welcome! We would absolutely recommend to our friends and family and would love to stay again! Amazing place!!

Superb!

Cute tucked away location with private garden, the evening was serene and peaceful while we lay in the amazing hot tub looking up at the trees, felt like we were in the middle of the woods miles away from anywhere! There was a fire pit outdoors for later in the evening. The cabin was so clean and fresh, bedding was clean and crisp, the bed was super comfy. Towels and dressing gowns provided and even a pair of slippers each, which really made a difference as I didn’t bring any for coming out of the hot tub. I appreciated the shampoo and conditioner as I’d forgotten to take that too!The cabin has soft mood lighting indoors for the evening and the outside deck was illuminated by gorgeous fairy lights.The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for our stay even had a fresh pint of milk, tea and biscuits. We cooked in the evening and went to a nearby pub for a lovely breakfast.I just wish we could’ve stayed longer, it felt like such a peaceful time bubble. We will definitely be booking again, might need to make this a regular recharge visit!

Perfect stay

This is a lovely property, clean, cosy and everything you need to hand. The hosts are great and attentive but leave to your privacy. Great location, also not too far from shops and restaurants pubs etc. Excellent if you have a pooch with you as it’s fully enclosed and safe. Would love to stay again.

The perfect getaway

My partner and i celebrated our anniversary at the lodge. It was in the perfect location and easy to get to using public transport. It was clean and all set up from the moment we arrived. The hot tub and fire pit allowed us to enjoy every aspect of the lodge even in the colder weather. We will definitely be returning !
