Harbourside - a sandhills caravan that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Harbourside is a holiday home situated on the popular Sandhills Park in Mudeford (Plot 84)

Avon Beach is less than 100 metres away; close enough to be able to enjoy the beach but far enough away to be peaceful and sheltered from the wind.

Harbourside is equipped to high standards with everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Towels/linen/T towels are provided but we ask that you bring your own beach/pool towels.

There is a private parking space adjacent to the property, making it easy to unload your belongings.

The communal facilities are available for you to use - heated outdoor swimming pool, clubhouse with bar, Sky television and small gym. There is also a shop stocking basic items a launderette on site.


Mudeford

This stunning area has everything you could want to make your holiday enjoyable and memorable.

Bournemouth is a half hour drive and has plenty of shops for those wanting to do some retail therapy. Poole is a little further on with its historic quay and its famous Poole Pottery. The New Forest is not far away with its stunning scenery, ponies and gorgeous villages to explore. Lymington is also half an hour away in the other direction (one of our favourite places) and here you can take a ferry over to the Isle of Wight or saunter around the Saturday market.

The Dorset region

Mudeford is a gorgeous place to stay, with the hustle and bustle of the quay where the children can go fishing for crabs, Avon Beach right outside and a short ferry ride to Hengistbury Head which is ideal for walking or cycling. Christchurch is only a few miles away with plenty of shops and, of course, the beautiful Priory and the river.

There is something for everyone to enjoy in this stunning place; water sports for the energetic or just sit and relax and read a book.

Massively overpriced. Noise from adjoining road and car park caused by youngsters racing up and down until the early hours of the morning playing thumping music is unbearable. The property manager’s only advice was that it’s a lot worse in summer!

Mudeford

The caravan was of a good standard and very clean. its a location we are familiar with and is great for the beach and for the walks along the sea front. It's tight for for 4 adults as the second bedroom is a small twin. More than fine for two children. The pool is exceelent and heated which was good on a chilly morning.

Christchurch by the sea

Lovely area and caravan like new. Very comfortable and warm great location steps from the sea. Would have benefited from coffee tea milk satchels on arrival also no egg cups. Otherwise all was very pleasant and comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Harbourside

We found Harbourside situated on the edge of the park, with glimpses of the harbour through the trees. Just a few seconds walk to the seafront. It was well appointed everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Happy to recommend it, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A nice touch was a welcome card and bottle of wine.

The property was well equipped, including all cleaning products for self catering. Clean and great location right next to Mudeford harbour.

Spacious and clean caravan, just a short walk to the harbour

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely caravan. It was well equipped, quiet, clean and very comfortable, also good WiFi for the teenagers with us! Set in lovely grounds, great swimming pool and seating area. Highly recommended and we will look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. So clean and modern. Plenty of space and top quality finishes to everything. The site itself is quite small but we like that. We didn’t get to use the facilities as it was late in the season and we were only there for 3 nights. But the bar and pool area did look lovely. The location is premium too. Literally seconds away from the beach. All in all would thoroughly recommend anyone staying here. We had number 84 and we would be inclined to go back to that one if we get the opportunity to return.

Nice place.

Over all a great stay however check in time very late and check out extremely early! Other places we have stayed have not used covid as a reason for these irregular Checking times.😪

Our first stay at Sandhills

Spent a lovely sunny week in this spacious holiday home. Well equipped and in a good location near to beach, quay and water sports. Excellent communication with Property Manager.
