Perfect space for us and our dog. We appreciated the extra considerations with granola and oatmeal available with the coffee. The space is clean and very private feeling. We would absolutely recommend this VRBO

GREAT little cabin in Walden. Mindy the host really has done a WONDERFUL job setting this up. It right off the main road so super easy to walk everywhere downtown (such as it is).

Great location! Just around the corner from Main Street with restaurants, shops, convenience and liquor stores. Squeezed into a small lot but they've done as much as they can with that, and once you are inside it is charming and the best equipped rental I've ever seen. (Loved the Keurig hot chocolate.) The place was actually larger than I expected, based on the lot size and photos. Definitely recommend staying here. We didn't see moose (probably because it was hunting season) but if you are here on a clear night, drive a little ways out of town to see the stars - it's amazing. First time I've seen the Milky Way in years! The locals were so friendly - several stopped when we were star-gazing to make sure we hadn't had car trouble. And definitely visit the Pioneers Museum behind the courthouse - it has everything you can image and lots of things I'd never seen before.

Such a cozy little (?) space. We loved it! So impressed with the innovative and creative use of space. I think the use of space alone is worth staying here. Inspirational. Close to so many things we love to do in the Colorado mountains.Spent our 25th anniversary here and it was a perfect place for us. Definite thumbs up.

A perfect spot for a simple getaway. Everything was clean and cozy, and we did end up seeing a moose while out here! Mindy was kind and communicative, and Walden is a cute little town. We ventured just outside of town and stargazed in perfect skies.

We had a wonderful stay at the Majestic Moose House in Walden. It was perfect for my husband and me during our visit to State Forest State Park. Mindy thought of everything from oatmeal pouches for breakfast, an outdoor firepit, a very comfortable bed, an assortment of pots and pans if you choose to cook, coffee and teas, ice in freezer (seriously, not all places do this for you). The communications was excellent the house was super clean and my favorite...it was decorated with a moose theme!!! Would definitely reccomend this place!!!!

We moved to Walden 26 years ago from the cornfields of Nebraska and the wheat fields of Kansas! It has since become our home. We are so thankful to have been able to raise our 2 boys in such an amazing place!

We love to go Jeeping, ride our Harley, and watch college football!

I love being able to share this beautiful area with others!
