For an alternative day out. be sure to visit the historic city of Lincoln, famed for its castle and cathedral, or indulge in some retail therapy.

Horncastle is well known for its many antique and collectables shops, as well as its weekly market. For motor racing fans, Cadwell Park is 10 minutes away as is the picturesque Woodhall Spa. The Georgian market town of Louth which still has three markets a week, is also approximately 15 minutes away. There are lovely walks and cycle routes to be enjoyed directly from the door throughout the area, with many Wolds villages offering places for refreshment as you explore the area.
