What a great place to stay when on vacation in Barbados. The house is very comfortable, air conditioning in the bedrooms and large windows and patio door throughout the rest of the house which allowed breeze to come through. The kitchen was very well equipped and the gas barbecue was a godsend for cooking our meals. The outdoor seating around the pool was great. The pool was well kept and a treat to swim in. Andrea and Alec were great hosts. Our communication was great and prompt throughout our stay. The location was close to Holetown which made it easy to enjoy the beach and local restaurants.

Excellent property, lovely hosts

6 of us enjoyed a lovely stay here with very friendly but unobtrusive hosts Alec and Andrea. The property was spacious, comfortable and exactly as described with a large pool and excellent outside seating and sunbed areas

A beautiful Villa with everything we needed. The pool was clean and a great size.Alec and Andrea were both lovely people and very informative.Only one thing is the Air Conditioning isn’t really enough and really could do with being in the Main living area and also better in the bedrooms as it just wasn’t enough.Other than that we had the most wonderful fortnight at Little Bimshire and would highly recommend this lovely place.

Great location and photos dont do the property justice

Very relaxing set-up, spacious villa, great pool and very friendly helpful owners. Just what we were looking for from our first visit to Barbados. Highly recommended

Fabulous time at Little Bimshire

We had a great time staying at Little Bimshire. Andrea and Alec are lovely people who always responded in a timely manner to our questions. The location of the house was in walking distance to beach, grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. We had some fun days staying in and enjoying the pool. Overall, wonderful experience.

Very helpful hosts. Lovely property, bigger than the photos suggest. Well stocked kitchen, comfy sofas, great outdoor space. Large bedrooms all with en-suites and AC. The pool is super too. It’s shared with the hosts whose property backs onto it, but they give guests priority and privacy and are super nice. Very easy walk to some of the best shops and beaches on the island. I would happily stay again.

Great villa great location

This was a spacious villa with three ensuite bedrooms and a huge dining kitchen area High ceilings to keep it airy. Deep swimming pool with plenty of room to swim in. Lots of outside seating, tables and sun loungers. The owners, Alec and Andrea live at the adjoining property and were very friendly and helpful. Everything within walking distance. A great place to stay.

Perfect home from home

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Little Bimshire. It was perfect for our group of three couples with good sized bedrooms that were all on suite. The accommodation overall was excellent with a large pool which really was the icing on the cake! The villa is in a great location with the beach and lots of shop, bars and restaurants in walking distance. The hosts, Alec and Andrea were super welcoming and have thought of everything you could need in the property. They also shared their knowledge of the island and gave some excellent suggestions about places to visit. It was a perfect holiday and we would all go back to the villa again.

Excellent Property with Great Hosts

We stayed with our grown up boys, their partners and our 20 month grandson (7 in total). The property was very spacious, clean with everything we needed. There were books, games, toys for indoors and plenty of things for use in and around the pool, noodles, balls and several floating jackets for children.It’s a 10 minute walk to Holetown beach but also not far to walk to Folkestone conservation beach. Also easy walk to the supermarket and great restaurants.Andrea and Alec are fantastic hosts, very friendly and kind and I felt they really wanted to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Would highly recommend.Little Bimshire

Everything you need

We stayed for 2 weeks and had everything we needed. We cooked there with ease. Swimming pool was the bomb as per the 12 year old. Each room was very clean and had its own bathroom. The hosts were amazing. Any questions you had they were there to help in anyway that they could. They even played tour guide for us one day. We are so thankful we went with the villa. You will not be disappointed with the location to the beach and shopping. Definitely a must return to villa

Tonya and her family we the guests that every host wishes to have. They were respectful and left the villa clean and tidy. We enjoyed our chats and taking them to Oistins Their 12 year old son appeared to enjoy Barbados and really loved swimming in the pool at night; he was such fun. They were a pleasure to host and we hope they come again.

Stop looking and start booking!!

We have just come back from a 3 week stay at Little Bimshire, the house itself is beautiful and contained all the things you need for a stay, the location is great and it was definitely a home away from home. However what made our stay fantastic were the owners Andrea and Alec, they are lovely lovely people, they made us and our children feel so welcome, their knowledge of the Island is second to none and they go above and beyond for their guests, from basic staples in the fridge on arrival to numerous pool toys for the kids. We would 100% come back to stay at Little Bimshire and would recommend it highly to anyone and everyone. We are already missing our little piece of paradise and Andrea and Alec who made our holiday that little bit extra special xx

Gina, her children, partner and future sister-in law were such a pleasure to host. We thank you for your review and the good vibes the family brought to the island. The children brought the villa alive they were respectful, polite and curious to learn new things. The villa was left clean and tidy, you would not have known that there was a family with small children in residence for three weeks. We would love to host this family again, if only to watch the children’s faces when helping out at bird feeding time. Gina and the other adults always ensured that the children were supervised, especially around the pool area.

Christmas in Bardados

What can we say. Alec and Andrea were wonderful hosts. They did the place up for Christmas with a tree and various decorations. Showed us everything and were very welcoming without being intrusive. The house was great. Lots of room for everyone. Pool was great after a day at the beach. It was our son’s birthday while we were there. Andrea told us it was Alec’s birthday as well and invited us over for drinks. What a great night. The location is close to everything in Holetown. About a 6 to 8 minute walk to the beach. Andrea had lots of great restaurant suggestions which were spot on. We will start saving again for the next trip and we will definitely rent from them again. Cheers

Home away from Home at Little Bimshire

The Villa is awesome. The Villa is very clean, spacious, full kitchen facilities with all necessary appliances and accessories, 3 full bedrooms, very spacious and each with a full bath. Outside is very private patio area with inground swimming pool, lush landscaping and large patio with covered areas and open sunbathing areas, ample patio furniture. Excellent location, within a 5 minute walk to a large grocery store, luxury shopping mall, as well as other local shops, wide range of restaurants with a variety of local foods, excellent beach for walking, swimming, snorkelling and many other water sports, wonderful sunsets. A private residence, at the end of a short cul-de-sac, with limited traffic on the street. An adjacent main roadway has a lot of traffic and there is traffic noise from this main thoroughfare, but not an issue for enjoyment of the property. We were caught in the Pandemic and had travel issues due to flight cancellations and changes. The owner was very kind, as we agreed on a price to stay whatever extra days needed until we were able to travel. This is an excellent location for a private, quiet and relaxing vacation, but with enough opportunities for entertainment, shopping, eating and recreation within walking distance. The location is on the west side, and you can easily reach all areas of the island within a short period of time. We highly recommend this rental and will come back ourselves. Cheers.
