Featuring an all-ground-floor layout along with some original features such as the rustic stone inglenook fireplace and exposed timber beams, Ffrwd presents a homely space to enjoy while you discover the wonders of this North Wales gem. Step into the pretty blue cottage front door and be welcomed into the charming sitting room, here the woodburning stove rests in the traditional fireplace, next to the Smart TV and a sofa and two armchairs offer somewhere to relax at the end of the day. Move through the property and into the cute kitchen/diner, decorated in white and blue, the fitted kitchen is picture-perfect and holds all you need for a self-catered stay, while the dining table serves as somewhere to enjoy a hearty breakfast for a big day out, or an evening meal when you're not in one of the local restaurants. The enclosed patio area is home to outdoor furniture and a barbecue, so you can spend summer afternoons at the grill in your own little space, with countryside views over the fence. Wind down in the double bedroom and watch some TV before going to sleep, with the second bedroom holding a single and a trundle bed, ideal for children. Serving the bedrooms is the lovely shower room with a walk-in shower. Delight in spending time in the seaside village of Rhosneigr, spending days on the beach and browsing the local shops and businesses here. Hire some surfboards and head out on the waves, or if you're new to the sport then book in a lesson at the local surf shop, choosing from wind surfing, kite surfing, surfing or paddle boarding, offering fun for everyone. Nearby is the Anglesey Golf Club, as well as Llyn Maelog, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, it is home to a lot of wildlife and there's a public footpath which circumnavigates the lake and links to a path to Rhosneigr, presenting a great activity for avid walkers. The Anglesey Coast Path is a great way to explore the island, with lots of beaches and villages along the way to admire, such as Newborough Beach backed by Newborough Forest offering amazing views of Snowdonia in the distance. The shores of Trearddur Bay on Holy Island are well-worth visiting, as well as the Breakwater Country Park for the scenic trails and fishing lake and the port town of Holyhead with regular ferries to Ireland. For a tranquil base, Ffrwd is a perfect pick on the Isle of Anglesey.
