Beautiful little house in a breathtaking landscape
We had a wonderful time in San Bartolome. The house is clean and well furnished. The bed is really good. The kitchen has everything you need. The „masterbedroom“ and the livingroom are quite dark, which is probably a benefit in summer.
There are actually 5 rooms ( kitchen, living-room, two bedrooms with a bathroom, one more bedroom). The rooms are not connected and you can only enter them from the patio. There is one heater in the livingroom (+ a fireplace). The aircondition in the bedroom can also heat. Those are very important things to know if you go there in winter. You will need them. Also be aware that the sun shines in the morning till -/+ 3 pm and after that the patio and terrace lies in shadows. You may want to use the whirlpool before, because it is getting colder very quick after the sun is gone and the pool is not that hot ;-) Keep in mind that you are in the mountains and it is always a little cooler here.
If you are okay with that, you will love it here.
Bring a car (there should be enough space for it on the street - there is no private parking, no parking in front of the house- you have to walk 50 meters to the house)
You can also walk up to the village. It is not that far (10-15 minutes) but really steep all the way. You can drive there in 4 minutes - there is a free parking space, a little supermarket, a bakery and some café/restaurants
To Maspalomas it is about one hour, +/- 45 Minutes to some nice hiking routes higher up in the mountains.
