A truly picturesque villa with unmatched views of the Algarve countryside

São Clemente is a traditional Portuguese house in the tiny hamlet of Assumada, on the side of a hill and has panoramic views of the mountains. There is a large kitchen and a circular hall with winding stairs leading to the master bedroom on the first floor. There are wide terraces above the gated swimming pool which has a separate children’s pool.

Loule is 4km away which is a bustling market town with authentic Portuguese restaurants and a laid back way of life. This is the perfect way to enjoy the Algarve countryside whilst not being too far away from civilisation.

Vacation with a Mountain view

Almost felt like we were in the Lion king movie. Everyday We woke up to the most beautiful view and silence. The most cosy little town of Loulé, with lovely food and wonderful people. Shopping was about 10 minutes' drive away, and various beaches were about 20-45 minutes away (by car). It must certainly be experienced. I know for sure that this is not the last time we visit Portugal.

Lovely place

This was a lovely stay with a few small adjustments could have been amazing. The pool is great, the pictures don't do it justice and the bills is massive there is so much space. We were really pleased. However a few things that will make it better. The water pressure is awful, you couldn't shower upstairs, the downstairs shower made the floor very wet. The kitchen was well equipped but lacks the pans and serving dishes for a large party. The bed in the upstairs bedroom could be alot bigger for the room . It it's a great property but could be amazing x

Thank you for your honest review. We agree, the house is in an amazing position and you have experienced the renovated pool which is currently not shown in the photos. We are due to make some improvements to the interior over the winter so thank you for your input as we will take this on board to make the house even more special.

Outstanding

This villa is amazing! Loads of space inside and outside and in an area with tons to explore. Loulé does not disappoint Fabulous restaurants, the market was great fun and everyone we met was delightful. The villa itself has beautiful bedrooms and most of the beds are super comfy, only the main one was super hard which suits some people but I found it really uncomfortable however we had lots of others to choose from. The views are phenomenal day and night and sunrise and sunset blew us away! The kitchen is well equipped, massive fridge, cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine all perfect. The pool is definitely the highlight Absolutely incredible We all loved it and spent most of our days just chilling there, what holidays are all about! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing place with us We will 100% be back. The McDonald’s xxxxx

Osterurlaub 2025

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Leider war die erste Woche etwas kühl mit durchschn. 15/16 Grad. Dann ist es im Haus natürlich ungemütlich, insbesondere am Abend, da es keine Heizung gibt. Wir bekamen vom Vermieter aber Heizgeräte, damit war es dann erträglich.
