Le Majestic 76 Apt is a stylish and well-located Chamonix apartment set in the iconic, architecturally listed Majestic building, just a short walk from the centre of Chamonix and the Brévent lift. This two-bedroom apartment offers great value for families or small groups who want easy access to everything Chamonix has to offer, including skiing, hiking, shops and restaurants.

The apartment features a modern, well-equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and even a raclette machine for cosy nights in. The kitchen opens onto a comfortable open-plan living and dining area, with a table and chairs to seat six and a sofa bed to accommodate extra guests if needed. Large windows in the lounge let in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful views towards the Brévent side of the valley.

Le Majestic 76 Appt sleeps 4-6 people across two bedrooms: a spacious master bedroom with a double bed, and a smaller cabin-style bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds, perfect for children or friends. The family bathroom includes a walk-in shower. A washer-dryer, fibre internet, and a smart TV add to the apartment’s comfort and convenience.

Set within one of Chamonix’s most iconic historic buildings, the Majestic retains its Belle Époque charm with grand interiors, high ceilings, and beautiful communal gardens. Guests also benefit from access to parking and easy transport links throughout the valley.

This apartment was absolutely perfect inside. We loved it. And the history of the building made it even cooler. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Also, the kitchen was fully functional with all the equipment and utensils needed for cooking actual meals. Very helpful for the budget. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Tbis places is advertised as a 2 bedroom, its not.

We have stayed in Chamonix many times. This place was not cheap, and its advertised as a 2 bedroom unit. Its not. Its a 1 bedroom unit, and the 2nd bedroom is a walkin closet that had a bunk bed put into it. Extremely small, no windows, its not a bedroom.

Great location, great customer service, ok apartment

This apartment was exactly what we needed - and not more. It is furnished with simple furnishings but has all of the basic requirements covered. Expect serviceable furniture but don't expect luxurious comfort. I stayed there with a friend for a few days of spring skiing. The location is perfect - close enough to the Planprax gondola to walk in your ski boots. It is a bit of an uphill climb to the gondola but many people walk up from central Chamonix donned with full ski gear. The location is also perfect for accessing the restaurant and shopping streets. There is an easy pedestrian bridge and walk-way that take you directly to the busy shopping street (Rue du Dr Piccard). Here you will access all of the shops and restaurants you need or other pedestrian streets for shopping and dining. The Majestic building has an interesting history and is a prominent architectural and historical landmark in Chamonix. The hosts were very responsive to any questions (via WhatsApp) and VERY QUICKLY resolved a minor issue with a smoke detector. We could not have expected better interactions and service from the hosts. Our week in Chamonix and at the Majestic has created a very positive impression and memory of a nice get away.

Lots of issues with this rental. First the positives. Apartment is large, comfortable, well stocked, and great views up to Brévant lift. Management is kind and communicative, with plenty of pre-arrival information.Now the challenges. Arrival is a hassle; rental car has to safely pull to the side of a narrow, busy uphill street, leave it, walk to the building, up to 4th floor, access key box, retrieve (unmarked) clicker, return to car, then drive on property. 10 minutes, same on departure. Keypad at the front bollard is not for renters.Plenty of parking guaranteed, but not true. In four nights we never found one open space around the large property. Parked in the open area near the front portico, on a hill, with no snow removal services. Our car got stuck on ice and had to be towed out. No warning from the building or management not to park there, cost us a ton of money.Property is close to town center, but bad for skiing. 4 steep uphill blocks to Brévant base in boots with equipment. Downhill walk to shuttles is icy and not cleared by property or town. Very busy, very noisy local apartment building, shares access with gendarmerie for even more traffic. Strange, wide, creepy dark hallways. Ski storage only accessible through side door. Apartment door not labeled #76 as directed. Furniture being built for two days in the hallway. Weird, unpleasant, inconvenient.Out of 5 stars: apartment 4 , location 3, property 2. Would not rent again, especially for the price.
Do not park in this area-hill, icy, no snow removal
Gate only operates on slow approach, no clicker, needs a running start up hill
Stuck in this parking area, had to be towed out

Excellent séjour

Appartement très bien équipé et très bien placé. Le rapport qualité prix est correct. La conciergerie chamonix all year s'occupe parfaitement du suivi de la location.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay in Majestic 76. A beautiful building in an excellent location. Parking was no trouble despite being a very busy time in Chamonix. Kids loved the bunk room. Service provided was excellent.

A good place to visit Chamonix. Placed in in center of town. Confortable and nice.

The apartment was good, buit it's important in my opinion to put more lights in the common spaces of the building. They are very dark.

Buena ubicación. Pequeño para 6 personas

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, al lado de la iglesia de Chamonix. Aunque supuestamente es para 6 personas, entramos muy ajustados. Tiene una habitación doble para dos personas con buenas vistas y amplia, una habitación muy pequeña y estrecha con una litera y sin ventilación, y otros dos tienen que dormir en el sofá cama del salón. La cafetera no funcionaba porque no servía para vitroceramica de inducción, fuimos a la oficina para comunicarlo el primer día y aunque nos indicaron que nos la cambiarían al día siguiente, ni nos llamaron, ni nos la cambiaron. Como aspecto positivo, tiene una lavadora, un lavavajillas, horno, microondas, juegos de mesa...

Lovely apartment in a great location

A great apartment in a fantastic location 2 minutes walk from the centre of town and the central bus terminal. The apartment was well equipped and presented to a high standard. The 2nd bedroom is very small but my children both said they were comfortable (my oldest is 6' tall). The Majestic is a fabulous historic building and also houses the congress centre. Although the facade and public areas look a little tired it feels very safe and secure. There is private parking but spaces were limited at times during our stay in August, especially at the weekend when there was an exhibition at the congress centre. Despite being in a marked space our car was hit during the night causing several thousand pounds worth of damage and we became aware of at least 1 other unrelated incident on the same evening. Surprisingly, despite being a congress centre, there is no CCTV coverage. However, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this apartment in future.

Great location and very helpful service. Place was clean and had everything needed. One of the bedrooms was extremely small and did not have a window. It felt like a closet.

Great Central location

Apartment was good and in a very central location. Spot of bother with location of Ski locker which was initially described as down two flights of stairs and through five doors, but found it could be reached easily via the service lift. Need to change the instructions! CVT taxi/transfer service (extra charge) was excellent. Very flexible and helpful. Problems with lock on apartment door not working but even though quite late at night COY came out and fixed.

Nice clean apartment with a great location. 6 of us stayed (2 small children) and would return. The apartment was clean with plenty of space and very warm! Great holiday.
