Chalet Couttet is a stunning, newly built, luxury Chamonix chalet, located right in the centre of Chamonix town centre, which benefits from a sunny terrace and garden facing Mont Blanc. The large picture windows from the living area and spacious terrace and garden offer unrivalled views of Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi and Glacier des Bossons. The Chamonix chalet has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus open-plan living and dining area centred around a log fire, as well as a peaceful separate reading snug on the first floor. The kitchen is well-equipped to make your stay comfortable, with oven / microwave, raclette and Nespresso coffee machine, and the dining table seats 8. There is a telescope provided at Chalet Couttet for your enjoyment in the living room, as well as French satellite TV channels & Apple TV. .The lower ground level also offers an upright piano, gym equipment for your use and there is ski storage in the garage, while the driveway offers external parking.

Great chalet

Our second stay at this chalet. The best view possible in chamonix and excellent central location. Very well equipped chalet. Amazing black out blinds for bedrooms. Large outdoor patio with relaxed sitting and dining options. Quiet despite central location except some music Friday night that stopped by 10pm. Good wifi. Great showers. One ground floor bedroom if stairs an issue. We’ll definitely be back again!

Perfect outdoor space and location

The chalet would have been five + stars if it had not been for the uncomfortable mattresses and bed linens in all the bedrooms! But the location could not have been better for us, the outdoor space was breathtaking, indoor living space was sufficient. Linens/towels provided were not enough. I would’ve paid extra for a better linen/towel package if you offered it. The All Chamonix service was great… The Wi-Fi went out twice (an expensive fix for us changing our cell plans to cover that) and our hot water boiler was accidentally turned off and for all issues the maintenance team was great and very responsive. Perhaps a note should be left for the guests regarding the hot water heater. We have no idea how we switched it off, but the button is very easily accessible and we could have fixed it ourselves in seconds! Better beds and fans in all rooms (so hot, and we are from Florida!) would change everything.

Great central Chamonix chalet

The chalet is very convenient, spacious, and well-accessorized for a family stay. The view is incredible and mostly the location is amazing. Super central but quiet, perfect for guests looking to be close to the center.

Beautiful Chalet for our family celebration

Everything was fantastic apart from the beds which were very uncomfortable, not one of us had a good night sleep. 3/4 of the rooms didn’t have side tables next to the beds which is a basic requirement. Unfortunately the chalet is situated next to a train crossing so when a train comes (from 5am) there is a loud bell. Aside from this we had a great time.

Excellent stay at Chalet Raphael

The chalet has beautiful decor with every detail well thought through. It is very comfortable - the beds and showers and totally spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped. The views to the mountains with floor to ceiling glass windows were absolutely spectacular. It was really nice and warm. The location is excellent for a stroll in town and close to all restaurents and cafes. The ski slopes were all within easy reach with short taxi ride. Chamonix all year can arrange for your ski passes and ski boots to be delivered to the property. I would like to stay there again particularly for christmas.

excellent experience

chalep raphael is centrally located, only meters away from the town center where all the restaurants and shops are... also it is across the street from the train station which can take you around town or to near towns which is very convenient. the place was very clean and stocked with woodfire and other necessities for making our stay very cozy and comfortable. also the floor to ceiling windows provide an amazing view of the alps which never gets old. chamonix all year team has been very helpful in answering our questions or making necessary arrangements we have requested. overall it was an amazing experience for us and if we were to go to Chamonix again we will definitely be staying at chalet raphael.

Barbeque and construction error

A barbeque on the terrasse would had been nice. Please note a special smell at the bathroom in first floor, closest to the living room. We assume some rotten in the construction. In general very good.

family visit to Cahmonix

this chalet was top notch and worth every penny. place a couple couples in the unit and the value vs. amenities vs. location is superb. i highly recommend Chalet Raphael to anyone looking for a stand-a-lone house in Chamonix. my only advice on his chalet is you must like stiffer beds. not my style, stiff beds, but the rest of the chalet makes up for my personal preferences. the beds are not pillow-topped and basic coil spring mattresses. but the fireplace, living room views, seating capacity, kitchen fully make this a top notch place to stay.

Incredible location and view, beautiful house

My family was very happy to find such a nice house in the middle of Chamonix downtown area, with such an incredible view. The house had many top-quality amenities. But for us, the best thing was being able to look at Mont Blanc and the Auguille du Midi out of those huge windows. There were a few minor things we didn't like. For one, it is confusing to try to drive to the house, because of Chamonix's one-way streets and the fact that one of the main ways of reaching the house is blocked off because of a security pylon. But, once we figured out a way to get to the street, that was no longer a problem. We also found the mattresses uncomfortable (very stiff). That could be more of a personal preference. Also, the representative from Chamonix all year didn't seem very familiar with the house and its amenities, although she was very friendly.

Amazing views, Bed comfort ok, too many limitations in the unit. A owners closet will be ideal so there is no confusion for what the guest can use or not use. THE unit is wonderful!

Wonderfull stay in chalet Raphael

the chalet Raphael is excellent place to stay in Chamonix, - describing the Chalet it self : very moderne, very clean, cosy, homey, elegent, confortable furniture, fully equipped, il has lovely view on Mont blanc, perfect for artiste because the lighting is amazing, ideal for musicians : it has guitar and piano, and more, etc... -location : perfect location, in the city centre and the greenery. - Chamonix all year : the personnel is very professional, very helpful and kind. in addition to that, i must say that they trust their costumer and very detail oriented in helping the clients to make their stay fantastic. - i highly recommend Chalet Raphael for single, couples and families with kids.
