Situated in the foothills of the Campsie Fells, these lodges boast stunning views over open countryside. Set in 80-acres of open countryside and direct access onto the fells, the lodges provide a fantastic location for walkers and nature lovers and are a great base for exploring all that central Scotland has to offer. Fishing can be arranged via the owner at Woodburn Fishery and also outdoor sports such as clay pigeon shooting. Both properties have lovely decked areas and private hot tubs from which to admire the stunning views.
Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is 20 miles away with walking, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding and water sports on offer. Loch Lomond and its inland waters are famous as one of the finest water sport venues in Scotland, with open spaces, sheltered bays and islands to explore. The area holds a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and mysterious forest covered slopes. The city of Glasgow with galleries, museums, historical attractions, superb nightlife and fantastic shopping is a 20-minute drive, or you can easily catch a train. Stirling and Edinburgh are also easily accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
The Clyde can be booked together with The Spey to accommodate up to 12 guests.

What an incredible place to stay with the most amazing views. The hot hub was enjoyed overlooking green pastures and sheep and was incredibly relaxing.

Scottish Holiday

The lodge was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It was the perfect base for touring the Trossachs and the Highlands. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely views. The cottage was a great home away from home for our holiday!

Family trip exploring Scotland

Beautiful property and the location was so perfect! We rented a car and explored everyday and were able to come home every night! The owners are so kind and lovely! This is a perfect place!

This is a lovely property in the Campsies. We came to visit family for Christmas. Loved that a Christmas tree was set up for us and the accommodation was modern, warm and comfortable for a family. Lovely outlook as well.

Place was clean, hot rub not too much as we could see dirt, bugs and other things in it, Before booking i checked with owner if the hot tub is for 6 people which i was told it was but even 4 of us had issue while sitting in hot tub. As it felt congested. Hot tub is good for 3 people and maybe 4 max.

Cosy lodges in beautiful location

Rented lodges for a short stay with the family. Young kids loved the hot tub, us parents loved the peaceful surroundings. Spacious and clean and communication was great. Highly recommended.

Brilliant escape

I stayed with my 2 nephews for a week and we absolutely loved the cabin. We woke up our first morning to sheep outside the window, enjoyed several gorgeous sunsets, and our last day experienced a double rainbow over the fields. The cabin was clean, far enough in the countryside to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Kirkintilloch and Glasgow. Highlight of our stay in Scotland and highly recommended.

Home away from home

We traveled from the U.S. for my stepdaughter’s wedding in Glasgow. The cabin was about 20-30 minutes drive to downtown Glasgow and far enough away to be away from it all. Set along the Campsies, our view was nothing short of spectacular! Drinking wine and bourbon as daylight dimmed around midnight. Our hosts were incredible as was the cabin. The hot tub was very nice too. We enjoyed our day trips to include a drive to Edinburgh for a hike up Arthur’s Seat, truly spectacular views from the top. I didn’t get a chance to fish at their lake but did walk up there to check out others who were fishing. Very nice! Highly recommend!!!

Lodge with a View

Arrived in the dark about 7pm phoned and key was brought to us without n 5 minutes. Property clean spacious and lively and warm felt welcomed. Hot tub instructions given. Did not use till following day. Woke to beauty sunrise views amazing. Very peaceful sheep grazing in nearby field Went to Time Capsule swimming and to come cinema whilst there. Samed local Chinese which was very good but did not tak cards only cash. Cash machine in local Coop thankfully Unsure about bins couldn't find any so left a note .

Relaxing setting

Great break

Fantastic stay at the woodburn holiday lodges. Hot tub was great, lovely views. So clean and homely. Fishing nearby was great too. Hopefully be back!
