No 6 The Grove is a glorious family holiday home located roughly 450 metres from Felpham beach. There are 3 large bedrooms (all with en suite bathrooms) and good entertaining space. There are also 2 pull out mattresses for children to bring sleeping capacity up to 8 if required. There is a beautiful big garden for the children to run around, outside seating and private parking for up to 4 cars.
Guests will enjoy the modern, spacious kitchen and stylish dining room areas. The living room has comfortable seating for all the family to sit around the woodburner and watch TV or chat. Much of the ground floor living area is open plan with French doors leading straight out into the garden.
Each bedroom is very well proportioned with king size beds and bright, modern bathrooms. As the property is a bungalow it is suitable for those less mobile but the tasteful décor and attention to detail mean that it will also very much appeal to corporate guests coming for Goodwood events. If you are a young family who need extra sleeping capacity we have 2 single mattresses which can be put on the floor in 2 of the bedrooms. This takes the maximum number of guests allowed in the bungalow to 8, but we can only arrange this if requested in advance and there is a £30 per mattress fee which includes bedding, sheets and towels.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but they are not allowed on the furniture, upstairs or to be left unattended at the property. There is a charge of £25 per dog for stays up to 7 days and £25 for each subsequent week. The garden has spacious lawned and patio areas for summer BBQ and outdoor fun.
There is a separate building to the left of the main house which houses a comprehensive utility room and storage space.
Felpham beach is an easy stroll away. There are 2 cafes and cheerful beach huts overlooking over the water. There is a long promenade which stretches right along the edge of the beach all the way to Bognor Regis with a fun sport interactive park en route which will amuse the children for hours.
There are numerous activities in the area for all ages such as Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the famous archaeological digs of Fishbourne Palace. Culture lovers will enjoy the glorious National Trust properties in the area and for family fun crazy golf and miniature train rides are just down the road at Hotham Park. Locally there is also bowling, surfing, waterskiing and trampoline parks. There is good shopping in Chichester and Portsmouth and wonderful walking in the South Downs. Arundel Castle is a short drive away and the town is packed with lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.
