Lovely short stay with family

We were a group of 3 families staying for a short visit over half term. The cottage was perfect for us and we loved the large dining table and kitchen. The kids loved the pool, games room and playground. Location was great for day trips out. The team were lovely too! Looking forward to coming back again!

Mini break

We had a fantastic mini break, 4 adults and 5 children under the age of 5. The property suited all of our needs as required. Great location and situated in a lovely area. All of the amenities were good quality. The beds were so comfy. Very clean and well worth what we paid. We would definitely return!

Christmas getaway

We needed to rent a property, larger than our own house to house, our 2 children, spouses and four grandchildren who were all joining us for Christmas from their homes in Europe. This cottage (2 Dales)was ideal in size. The grandchildren all had a room to themselves, and the adults all doubles. The kitchen was modern and well stocked with the utensils required. The large dining table was of course put to good use for Christmas meals. The lounge was slightly small for the number of people but we managed. We made good use of the swimming pool, which the kids loved, the only downside being that it was closed on Christmas Day. The staff at the property were very helpful in advance of our visit, answering all the questions.

80th Birthday Celebration

Our only disappointment was the road noise, especially during rush hour. Apart from that we were three families and accommodation suited us superbly, each felt they had their own wing. A really lovely cottage

Hi Pamela, Thank you for your feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay despite the traffic noise. The cottage is next to a main road so noise will be heard from time to time. Maybe you will return and choose one of the cottages on the back of the site. Give us a call and we will guide you to a quieter cottage. Best regards Knockerdown Team
