Run down and needs maintenance
Disappointing rental. Arrived to an apartment that was dingy and in need of repair. Shower did not drain, toilet seat broken, other shower head was loose, light bulbs burned out, refrigerator warm, freezer iced up, and one of the front windows would not open. While the apartment seemed somewhat clean, the dirty mop and bucket were left in the bathroom. This apartment is one of four flats in the building pictured in the photos. It is on a busy and noisy street, a short walk from West Ealing station. While we were here, the slow draining shower leaked into the downstairs flat, resulting in angry neighbors pounding on our door. The neighbors told us that this has also occurred in the past. Communication with management was poor and inconsistent, and we were prevented from using one of the bathrooms during the remainder of our stay. We ended up leaving a day early and have requested a partial refund (to which management has yet to respond). Also, for any Americans looking at listings, a clothes drier is actually a rack for air drying clothes.
