The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel and neighborhood was extremely quiet. Great location to get to and from all of our destinations. The restaurant menu was delightful and the food was very very good. The hotel personnel were very kind, warm and personable.

Enjoyable!
The entire staff was very helpful and extremely nice to us. The attached restaurant served wonderful food to us even though we got there just barely in time. We enjoyed visiting with some while we ate. It is an older facility but all was good. Would stay there again.

Friendly service, nice room
I stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early the next day. I received a friendly welcome, the room and bathroom were decent, and I had a reasonable night sleep, and it was great value.

Business that felt like leisure
I have been staying here for the last 20 years or so as a stopover driving from Staffordshire to East coast Scotland and have never had a reason to complain...the staff are brilliant and the owner (Stephen) has always been great company and is a great example for his staff.

Friendly hotel, rooms in need of some tic
The hotel staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. However room was unlike the one pictured, in need of an upgrade and with a dingy bathroom.
