The apartment has a large double bedroom. The king size bed features a Hypnos mattress for a comfortable night's sleep. Lounge has smart TV and woodburning stove. Fully equiped kitchen area. Bathroom with large walk in shower
As soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. The apartment has been sympathetically renovated and is a delightful combination of traditional and modern. Pleasing on the eye but utterly functional.

The Cairngorms National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is home to species of wildlife and birds which have disappeared from the rest of the UK. Perfectly located for hillwalking and cycling. There is an 18 hole golf course in the village and the Strathspey Steam Railway is based here. Loch Garten RSPB reserve is a couple of miles away.

A kingsize bed with Hypnos mattress and a very quiet location means that you should get a very comfortable night's sleep. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area with smart TV, good free WiFi and a wood burning stove means that a night in can be just as much a treat as going out and sampling the local restaurant (very popular with visitors and locals).

Leuke en gezellige inrichting van een 1 slaapkamerflat. Veel aandacht voor detail in het interieur. Wel een moeilijke trap om tot aan de voordeur te raken. Keuken voorzien van de meeste gebruiksvoorwerpen waarmee je een maaltijd kunt klaarmaken.Whisky assortiment om een privé proeverij te houden, mocht je daar zin in hebben (er werd wel gevraagd om een bedrag in de pot te steken- logisch). Leuke attentie waren de eitjes, de pot meusli, het brood, de koffie en koekje die klaar stonden.

An excellent flat in the heart of the Cairngoms

This is a comfortable flat. The kitchen is well equipped or there are at least two restaurants in walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Highly recommended.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful village

Welcoming, comfortable, spotless and warm apartment in a quiet yet excellent location for a very good restaurant, village shop and walks, everything you need to hand, high quality and extras such as bread, milk, eggs, jam etc. Our favourite bolt hole close to our favourite restaurant. Iona an excellent and friendly host who is available if you have queries yet also gives you the space to enjoy your stay. Reasonably priced too. We have stayed several times and look forward to future stays.

This apartment is perfect for a stay in the Cairngorms and has everything we required..

We love staying here. The apartment is very comfortable and the bread, eggs, milk… are always appreciated. This was our second visit in 2 months and it will become our ‘get away’ break when we need to see the mountains. Cannot be faulted.

Our go-to bolt hole in a beautiful location

The flat is comfortable, cosy, has everything you need, is high quality and stylish, spotlessly clean, quiet with our favourite restaurant (Andersens) nearby. Very welcoming too with bread, butter, jam, granola, milk, tunny cakes, eggs, tea and coffee provided and a brilliant village shop nearby - if they don’t sell it, it doesn’t exist! A very relaxing and enjoyable stay (our third visit) where we look forward to many happy returns. Thank you.

The house was very comfortable, spacious and bright.

We enjoyed how we could walk from the house in several directions and enjoy many of the great footpaths. The bed was very comfortable. The house was cosy and log burner was a bonus!

We didn't want to leave Boat of Garten.

The village is peaceful and backs right onto the Abernethy Forest. Andersons restaurant is quite good and the village shop amazing. The flat was spotless and Iona was kind enough to leave bread, milk, eggs, etc. There is also an incredible honesty box whisky collection. Iona was flexible with arrival and departure times.

Beautifully appointed holiday apartment in immaculate condition. Very spacious accommodation for the two of us. The fresh bread and eggs are a lovely touch! The location is perfect. This is our third visit and we hope to be back again next year.

Easy online booking. Information received from the owner with further details of our arrival and encouragement to get in touch if we needed anything. The apartment was clean, beautifully presented and warm. Plenty facilities such as hairdryer, shower gels, USBs. Nice gifts of bread, butter, jam and granola although we had come well prepared. Quiet location but very central to surroundings, everything easily accessible and within walking distance. Parking. Garden access. Easy check-in/out
